AjanleKoko:It gets closed. and a part 2 thread is opened. go to the games section for examples. |
I've heard some doctors describe it as a mental illness. check your brain. |

this topic doesn't make sense. Chinese men can import a wife from China if and when they want. They just happen to be more focused on their education/work. They marry after they are financially successful. Besides, from what I know, Chinese women care more about money than anything. so a successful Chinese man has no problem at all. |
software:true talk. |
of course. I will gladly buy my fiance engagement gifts. he deserves it. items will include: cooking pot ironing board vacuum cleaner and other house cleaning items. I hope he uses them well! |
paris10:yours must be one of the worst wedding days ever. esp for the bride. can you advice the women on here on how to avoid guys like you? ie what are the warning signs etc. be as specific as possible with bullet points maybe. |
erico2k2:no comment. |
they look ok on teenage boys but over that age, seem a bit immature to me. especially the colorful ones. |
erico2k2:what has my comment got to do with being black. ![]() will you feel less disrespected if I called you a goat? |
erico2k2:then I must have hit a nerve. you must be one of the monkeys. |
this thread is very silly. of course most guys prefer easy girls. that's the point of being easy. the question is: as a girl, do you want to be be passed around like a football from one guy to the next? what does a woman have to gain from jumping from one monkey to another? |
The governor commended the Federal Government for the visit and requested for prompt reimbursement of funds expended by Ogun State on federal roads. ![]() |
paris10:well, the kind of cowardice you have is really unheard of and suggests to me that you might be indebted to her. I read some of ur previous posts and you have created topics in the past to the same effect that you do not love your fiance. so really why be so cowardly to drag her into this mess? I really suggest you postpone the wedding and settle the debts or whatever it is that's keeping you from letting her know that you are messing up her life. how old is she? you may be able to find new women but if she is past a certain age, it will become harder for her and she will not forgive you for wasting her yrs. |
na wa o. Paris10, r u for real? I mean for a guy who is searching nairaland for a stranger to give his fiance the break-up message. lol is this even real? ![]() i'm 100% sure a girl cannot force you to propose or date her for 6 yrs without there being a story behind it. She must have invested a lot in you and that's why she's not willing to let go. You also although you don't love her, most likely have taken advantage of her financially. assuming she is not pregnant, I'm guessing she financially supported you for those 6 yrs. because I see no other reason why you would feel forced to propose to her. My advice to you is to POSTPONE the wedding. Save, borrow money or do whatever you can to repay her completely. and then let her go. that way you don't owe her anymore. |
premechaz:what a clown |
Princek12:exactly!! and I will stress the part about local investors. and some (govt) oversight as well like ekt-bear mentioned. |
premechaz:of course it is not going to waste if they are getting PHCN in return!! ![]() the question is, what do they owe us that will make them not exploit us afterwards? |
Princek12:have you ever seen a naija woman playing hard to get for a rich or successful man? besides if you are taking about the UK or US most of those women are single at 33 are that way for a reason. If you look at their black american and carribean counterparts you will notice that most are unmarried as well. only difference is that they are more likely to be baby mamas while nigerian women are less likely to be baby mamas. just speaking from my own perspective as a female and some of the guys I meet. I personally WILL NOT play hard to get for a financially stable, disciplined and responsible guy who looks like a marriage material. but such guys are so rare. most of the guys out there are irresponsible and just looking for a ride. and i'll really rather be a professionally successful single at 33 than be a baby mama for a useless fool. trust me, if u are professionally ok, with a good head on your shoulders, you will have absolutely no problem with most naija women. just that such guys are rare nowadays. does that answer your question? |
seunbballo:That's a good point and my fear. If we mess up for any reason we are doomed. I'm pretty sure Russia also has large stakes with the UK as well. esp with the collapse of soviet union. so Russia also would also be wary of messing with UK. In the case of Nigeria, I don't see any stake Brazil has with us. besides, this won't be the first time we will invite foreign firms to take over our industries. things haven't been always successful in the past. I think Nigeria should negotiate the deal so that even if Brazil wants to invest in it, we should have a large stake in it as well so that it is not 100% brazil owned. |
Democracy is the govt of the people. You do what the people want, No?I'm sure it's somewhere in the constitution that foreign affairs/policy is within the purview of only the fed. govt. and also in the constitution that govt primary purpose is security and welfare. ie. you elect your govt to do what's best for you. you said it yourself that you prefer to be colonized anyway. |
efisher:I guess ekt bear answered the question. |
efisher:it's not sensible to "open up the market" of utilities like electricity it is a natural monopoly in a way. and that is why most times it is best for govt to regulate it or at least protect it. water supply and sewage systems are other examples. land line communication system is another example. you will note that competition in telecom really began when the sector became wireless. otherwise, it would have remained a monopoly. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural_monopoly |
I bet ya, that the people in Nigeria, who are in perpetual darkness dont care if NEPA is being sold to Brazilians, Americans or drug dealers. All they want is light. And I dont think that is too much to ask for. If it will take a Brazilian to provide constant electricity, so be it.It doesn't really matter what the people think. people will always think for their short term pockets. but govt should be more concerned about national security rather than just some middle and upper class folks. govt main purpose is to protect national interest. that's what they are elected for. even the US wouldn't sell it's energy to a foreign firm even if it was cost efficient. In fact, it would fight other countries over such matters. as you have seen from ppl's post, PHCN not worth up to 5 billion. so why do you think brazil is willing to pay 100 billion to control our energy supply? obviously you are failing to see the larger picture. would you also support privatization of water supply? to a foreign firm? and what happens when that country gets mad at us. we thirst to death? anyway this is my last comment on this issue with you. I think I have made my point clear. |
he should have stolen from a dead artiste instead. that's how his mates do it. |
