with that Offensive line and coach privates Jauron (the clown that was chased from the bears)? Maybe Vick can use his speed to perform miracles but good luck getting TO to play with a run-first QB.
I can think of a few more Bears that need to be chased outta town cool

I see Vince young is playing well, the resurrection of black jesus grin
We saw what Young could do in his first season. The question is whether he can do it consistently, over a long undeniable stretch and maintain his focus on football. There's a reason he was benched in the first place.

No2A you see what you have caused? Well, since I haven't technically walked down any isles yet, I guess terming him my husband would not be entirely accurate would it?  smiley

Max, that is a terribly complicated question best addressed in an audience of only 2.
Chic2pimp, you're funny lol. He's very passionately Inter Milan all day, everyday, I'm forbidden from even mentioning names like Juventus. Their food is among the best, me self I don sabi Lasagna well well lol . . . if only they could cut out that nasty, oh so popular ingredient called cheese  tongue
TV/MoviesRe: The Movie Club by JeSoul(f): 5:02pm On Nov 16, 2009
It's been a while since I've seen 12 Monkeys but my overall impression of it was - complicated but captivating featuring stellar performances by the cast. Max captured very succintly the gist of the matter: Willis is convict from a future earth whose population lives underground and has been decimated by a deadly virus. He was sent back on missions to gather information on the virus and possibly a sample so a cure can be made.

12 Monkeys is one of those movies that requires your undivided attention and imaginative participation. It weaves back and forth between different times and concepts, dreams and reality which ultimately leads to the dizzy and confused effect it has on many viewers. I submit readily it will take at least 2 sitdown watches in order to get a good grasp of the different aspects of 12 Monkeys, and pay special attention to the dialouge in order to stay sane. One of my fav scenes in the movie is where Stowe realizes Willis has been telling her the truth all along, the news story with the kids hiding, the war picture, the bullet she removed from his leg etc . . . very jarring  smiley.

Overall 12 Monkeys is a fascinating, captivating movie with deep and abstract concepts, well delivered by the cast and writers. I rate 85%.

qb goes to die in buffalo, JP Losman, Bledsoe, trent edwards?? Vick might as well retire and get a construction job.
Or maybe you have that the other way round? . . . qbs have been the ones killing buffalo? The Eagles are not using him, unless they're silently waiting on McNabb to get injured again.

Even if the Celtics lose 10 in a row, I shall not be bothered. My singular care is that they remain healthy. They will get into the playoffs with the 1-3 seed for sure, the only issue is they must stay healthy and not push hard every night and try to win every regular season game. Save the fire and knees for the postseason.

And start sticking a fork in the likes of the Eagles . . . just when it seems they're poised to take off, the sputter and spill their guts all over the ground. Vick should go to Buffalo jare . . .

Christianity EtcRe: Can The Moderators Rename The Religion Section To: "Bash Christianity" Section? by JeSoul(op): 5:28pm On Nov 13, 2009

Personally i would like to lock quite a few topics that have appeared over the last few days because i feel they are just trying to antagonize the christians. You'd know that some of these posters have a deep hatred of christianity just by reading thier topic titles and the way they keep posting anti-christian messages. And the same thing is going on by christians in the muslim section, and as long as thier not breaking the Nairaland Rules And Regulations am powerless to do anything about it.
You're right brotha. I guess its tit for tat, eye for eye and the entire place is going blind.

Those of us that consider the forum a joke will continue to indulge our twisted sense of humour until such a time that we become bored of it and then will probably quit.
A joke that has stopped being funny for a while now. I dunno if you've noticed but many regulars have left.

But I thought all this was discussed a while back and there was some attempt to do something by changing the moderators or something like that.  has that attempt failed?
It was destined to. An atheist moderator was added but it did absolutely nuthin to better the section becos the same riff-raffs are still scurrying about competing with each other on who can open the most threads to bash christianity.

The issue has been discussed more than 10 times, and the administration no gree, so therefore they should just change the name so unsuspecting visitors are not misled and tricked into thinking this is actually a religion section where civil and profitable debates and discussions occur.

Abi ke, at least the "husband" is going to pay for his crime (which should be more than only 6yrs by the way)

When will we ever see those 40, 50, 60 yr olds in muslim countries going to jail for marrying 8yr olds?
Christianity EtcCan The Moderators Rename The Religion Section To: "Bash Christianity" Section? by JeSoul(op): 4:45pm On Nov 13, 2009
To Seun and the NL powers that be, this section is deteriorating with each passing day, and turning into one long endless rant after rant against christianity. A once vibrant section with interesting, funny, challenging and intellectual topics has become a trash dump for unfortunates with beef against religion to unload their grievances that frankly would be better off shared with a psychaitrist.

So since we have begged, kissed behinds, sucked up and pleaded for intervention and it has fallen on deaf ears, I think it would better to rename the "Religion" section to "Bash Christianity/Religion" section - it would be by far a more accurate description of this section.

Byron Scott was not the problem, he was simply the scapegoat.

The pieces they assembled together for that team just doesn't mesh but at the same time they weren't really coming out to play their behinds off every night - a sign that maybe perhaps they've given up on their coach.

C2H5OH,
were you taking pictures of your tv screen last night? cheesy

I hope little boys who dream of growing up to play quarterback in the NFL were not watching last night, they'll end up traumatized for life  cheesy.

I was watching the game while having dinner at Outback and the entire restaurant erupted into cheers and jeers when Cutler threw that 1yd INT  lol  I think some people were close to throwing their dinner at the tv screen. But seriously, I remember thinking to myself on 3rd down after 2 failed run plays, "they should not let Cutler throw this ball" and bam they did.

I'm willing to bet the entire state of Denver are thanking their gods they doged a huge bullet when the diva asked out.

So it was a black man, not a white woman who brought down Fort Hood shooter. Is the subtext of this discourse familiar? Recall the narrative Jessica Lynch.

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/11/13/us/13hood.html?_r=1
This is a very intriguing development. I don't blame Munley, I blame the media and the rest of us drooling at the prospects of a woman taking down the shooter - an embarrasment for a muslim terrorist. It made it a much more sexier story. But now that it turns out to be a black man, race has been unfortunately injected into the story.

but anyways Sgt Todd must now be given what belongs to him. They are all heroes for responding to the attack but Todd is the ultimate for delivering the shots that ended the rampage.

Trust me brotha, you're never too old to learn. I've seen 60yr olds picking up instruments and learning for the first time - go for it! And with youtube, you can learn for free inside your own house - that's how I started.

Am disappointed that u do not have a live id. Its good sha . . .I must confess that i do not really like GTA . . . I am more of a football or racings kinda of a person . . .i used to play FPS before until i stopped cus they were starting to freak me out (the idea of going round to shoot and kill in the games) and i did not like the fact that it desentitises someone to the idea of shooting and killing.
I told myself after the first few times of playing it that it wasn't a good game to be playing, then I got hooked on it and would mute the volume so as not to be bombarded with the cuss words and rubbish talk. Games really have taken a turn for the immoral. But funny enough, I've been playing shooting and killing games since I was yay high . . . lol, I don't think I'm desensitized one bit, but rather trained in the art of seperating quite efficiently, fiction from reality.

And contrary to you, I don't like racing and most sports games  lipsrsealed  smiley  infact in stages where I have to race in my adventure games I get upset. I've played my NBA live less than 10 times, football once but finished Naruto, GTA several times smiley

Jesoul dear (apologies to your husband grin grin grin for using the copyrighted word)
He told me to tell you "apology accepted" grin

. . . i have to disagree a little bit . . . on this issue.

Lou Dobbs is good riddance to bad rubbish.

The way Lou Dobbs talks and blames latinos for everything is weird to say the least.

Lou Dobbs was just a closet racist that could no longer hide his racism hence why he is so opinionated . . .White people can't help it . . . they are insecure . . . if its not latinos, lou dobbs would find other people to hate.

At least he would be at home with Fox. . .
Lol . . . remember I'm in the Northeast, we blame the latinos for everything up here grin Seriously, whenever something happens in the city, my mum usually goes "I bet it was one of those spanish people" grin LOL and you know what, I hate to say it, but it usually is. And of course this doesn't mean they all are criminals, not at all.

I say CNN is making a mistake because it needs more personalities (regardless of the side) - not less. See how FOX and MSNBC are dominating the ratings, its because of their opinion shows, not the news casts. CNN will become a dinosaur if it doesn't morph and keep up with the times.

Infact there's nuthin more to add, Biina & Bawo have said it all.

A-40, to me Ben is not in the top echelon of quarterbacking. He's below the likes of Manning and Brady. The Steelers winning ways have not come off the arm of BigBen, it has been your defense and run game. Yes he has made some great plays along the way but just like many other solid qbs in the league, the difference btw their teams and urs is your solid defense. Whereas subtract Peyton or Brady from their teams and you're left with 5-6 win teams.

If they swapped teams - Ben to the Pats or Colts, they will just barely make the playoffs. Insert Peyton or Brady with the Steelers = multiple SBs.
SportsRe: NBA Season 2010/11 by JeSoul(f): 2:19pm On Nov 12, 2009
A-40, yeah they may be the biggest suprise so far but remember I'm not taking any team seriously until at least 10 games after the All-star break. C2H5OH said it perfectly:

We have seen this movie before jare, the Suns will not get past the 2nd round with this current squad.

C2H5OH:
