God's wrath had to be poured out complete on Him. The wrath was not complete on the cross and only on His Physical body.

That was why Jesus had to believe by faith based on an O.T scripture that God would not allow His body to see corruption/decay but raise Him back on the third day.

Scientists say the body starts seeing corruption or decaying on the fourth day.

Btw, you should know that for every part and kingdom on the earth, there is a spiritual representation of it. That was why bible talks of the kings and princes of Persia and king of Tyre which where demonic spirits. And also revelation where Jesus reveals Satan's throne was at a particular city of the earth.
