Jessie21: good evening mamas...3days ago,i notice some pus-like substance in my baby's eye when he woke up,though it was hard for him to open the eye so i dropped some breastmilk in the eye.....am still putting breastmilk and it seems to have reduced but am worried....Does anyone have any idea about this....i just started giving him bonababe...he's 3months3week old. It may be an eye infection. Take away your worry by visiting the hospital so his eye can be checked. Be careful when cleaning the affected eye. |

Mahoti: Good evening mamas,Darasimi is cutting 4 teeth at once but she is so weak and she stop eating we are 11months Pls help mamas Give her paracetamol to relieve her of pains associated with teething. You can also get her checked in the hospital to be sure she's not bugged with malaria/infection. Ensure good hygiene around her cos their immunity is usually low when teething. You can also use multivitamin/b-complex syrup to make up for low appetite. take care. |

rvpbae: Morning mamas. I made 'brown' pap for my son yesterday, tried it out today and for some reason it isn't brown, milky colour. As far as i know i followed the steps correctly.
Pls those who made theirs should tell me what i did wrong o. I used 2cups yellow corn and 4 cups for both millet and guinea corn. Colour theory.. The yellow in the yellow corn + the guinea corn reduced the color intensity of the brown millet. The brown millet comes in different hues too. Some will be reddish brown and some will just be brown like tea. if you really desire the brown color, reduce the quantity of the yellow corn and guinea corn but increase the millet. Leave color alone o....na the content/ingredients be d koko. |

spiceeamiee: I probably should just use this opportunity to come out from hiding..Only that mine was real. Big hugs mama As I read through your reality...it confirms that many are the plans of the heart but the answer of the tongue belongs to God. Indeed His ways are higher than our ways. Commit your fears and worries to God, He knows the best way to get you sorted and still enjoy the career of your dreams. You will make it.. So lets toast to a healthy and happy bumping.. Just check to be sure he's sleeping comfortably and no mosquito is disturbing him When my ds was much younger and behaved in a similar manner, I whisper a word of prayer into his ears. This also helped me erase any kind of fear that may want to creep into my heart. Remain courageous..God guide you and protect your dear son. |

kazchick: Hello Mamas, Please I noticed this on my son’s neck, thought it is teething rash and was using Vaseline and bibs but today I noticed that it has spread a bit to his belle and small on his back. We just move to another country so I am in a fix. What can I use? It could be an allergic reaction. How old is he and what does he feed on? Better still, check with a pead. God's blessings upon your family in the new country. |

lessonslearned: Good morning mamas
Pls want to ask a very funny question....
When does all the long bathing of a newborn end?? MIL usually bathes my LO and massages him every morning and night....
Hes 3months now and she still does that?? Anytime I ask she says as long as she's here and doesn't look like she's going anytime soon...
Pls how long did u guys do all the newborn bathing him for?? When can I bathe him like a normal person biko? Mama is doing that for pleasure. That's her own way of contributing in giving you assistance. If she wont take offence, wake up earlier than she normally does and give him a bath but I'm quite sure she won't like it so just appreciate her efforts. |

stevewale: Always wondering why they don’t have openings for technical jobs like Support Engineers, DBA, etc in Nigeria but have in India, Malasia and other countries I stand to be corrected. They do more of sales in Nigeria. If you would like a technical role, apply to one of the organisations they sell to. |

slinkky: My 17 months old son is having a runny nose, and prition seems not to be of any help. Please what else can i give him Hope the piriton was prescribed by a paediatrician or a GP. The runny nose usually will run its course. You can give vitamin c syrup. It helps too. The weather is a bit cold and chilly in recent times so I'll advise you keep your son warm, reduce exposure to cold and ensure your environment is kept neat too to avoid infections. Do stop by here https://www.nairaland.com/971395/new-born-babies-u-new/1876You will learn more. Cheers. |
