tomju:Please, are you a Christian? If yes, respond to me. I want to enlighten you more on JESUS CHRIST BEING EQUAL TO HIS FATHER. |
In this part of the world, transparency, honesty and prudence have been thrown into the winds. Our constitution and laws were very crafted that no matter the gravity of an offence, there is either an escape routes or soft-landings for the perpetrators. How on earth would a court give orders or rulings that forestall trials on suspects? Why do some past governors and ministers got injunctions that they shouldn't be tried or investigated? Is it a taboo to probe, investigate or try a former president? Which sane clime thrive or fight corruption in such circumstance as obtainable in Nigeria? As we await the bail judgment, do not forget that APC led senate said that they will not declare Orji Uzor Kalu:s seat vacant even after a court of competent jurisdiction has declared him guilty and passed a judgment(jailed him). Lawmakers my foot. The stand of the senate is enough to pre-empt the awaiting judgment. I regret being a Nigerian. A country of no hope and no future IMAGINE A NATION THAT RECOVERED LOOTED $322MILLION FROM SWISS GOVERNMENT AND DECIDED TO SHARE IT AROUND AND WENT AND BORROW $328MILLION TO SPEND ON INFRASTRUCTURE. (Just like you received monetary gift of N200k and throw party with it and went to borrow N202k to build a house). |
Chi59:In abundance of women, he chose you. A man have a reason to do such. The fact that he jettison other ladies and settled for you means more than the eyes could see. Remember, he is the one paying your bride price and making you his wife. Not the other way round. If he doesn't love you, he would never take such bold step. He will never come an inch near you. Paying your bride price is a great sacrifice to justify his affection towards you. What we are saying is that marriage is more blissful if the love the wife possess for the husband is more. Many ladies settled for men they don't love because of wealth and affluence. And many men doesn't live longer to tell their stories. No man in his right sense will bring calamity into his life. LOVE IS BLIND! The more you love, the severity of the blindness. Women are more resilience than men. We can't endure what women endured. Above all, it is inhumanity to take someone's love for granted. Men value and respect their wives As a man I have taken my stand. Other men are free to make their choices as well. It is a free world. |
lomprico:The girl being proposed to is a younger sister to the bride. According to the guy, the girl's parents (bride parents) are aware of their relationship. So, such act will add more vibe to the wedding. The couple, especially the bride will see it as an honour that her younger sister was engaged on her wedding day. (read the post again). |
goldenpenny2:My dear brother, the best bet is to marry a woman that loves you without limit. Someone who loves you more than you do. Having such a person as wife is like acquiring an invaluable treasure. Words can't express benefits attached for being lucky to have one as a wife. Let me highlights some advantages of having such personality as a wife - 1. She will sacrifice everything to make sure that you are happy. 2. She will go beyond her limit to ensure that you succeed. 3. She will never scatter but will keep on gathering for you. Likewise she will never waste but always conserve for you. 4. When she sees you, she see herself. Your worry is her worry. It is always you first. 5. Peradventure your night turns to day, she will never leave you. Even if the whole world deserts you, she is always there for you. 6. She will forever be faithful to you. No man will see her unclothedness. {SHE CAN ONLY TRADE HER unclothedness FOR YOUR SAKE - for instance doing so to save your life (not her own life but yours). This amount to laying her life for you}. 7. You will live longer. Enjoy your life to fullness without heart attack. Benefits are so enormous. But if you marry someone that the love you have for her is greater than what she has for you, mark my words, YOU JUST ACQUIRED VISA TO ENDLESS SLAVERY. Your heart will have no peace whenever her countenance changes - heart attack knocking. You will always go extra mile to please her - perpetual slavery. You will forever be held at ransom - her quest will be insatiable. Above all, she will always look for that love she feels for outside. NB: A woman can endure unfaithful husband till eternity but a man can hardly endure an unfaithful wife for years. I COULD BE WRONG, BUT THAT IS MY OPINION. One man's delicacy can be another's poison. Chose wisely. |
J111333:I disagree with you. 'Love' is stronger than 'Like'. I think you misplaced the two words. Benefits and sacrifice for love is beyond limit. |
atiku4President:With all due respect, let us not make a mountain out of nothing. This holier than thou attitude will never do us any good. Marriage is an institution ordained by GOD. 'He that found a wife; found a good thing'. For the guy to propose in a church goes a long way to justify his good intention. Assuming the guy seized same side attraction to announce cash donation of N5million instead of marriage proposal, will the pastor stop him on same reason that he is not aware and need to be informed first? On your logic of peradventure the engagement crumbles aftermath of the church exhibition, it doesn't hold water in the sense that many weddings and marriage consummations crashes after church ordinations and no clergy or pastor is to be blamed thereafter. When the video surfaced, I thought the pastor was the girl's biological daughter. I never knew he was only a spiritual mentor. The pastor has no role to play in that particular scene. He shouldn't see himself as a matchmaker. Finally, proposing to a girl is a first step in marriage establishment. The direct parties involved have to agree first before involving the parents, mentors and guardians. Meanwhile, marriage proposal or engagement is not overall assurance that the marriage will see the light of the day. Just a bold step on a sacred project. Other factors that will make or mar the relationship comes up thereafter. {for instance, it might be established that the two love birds have a root tie that bound them as relatives. In such scenario, the marriage proposal has to be nullified} Meanwhile, the guy said that the girl's biological parents are aware of their relationship. |
joepepsy:Please what are those projects? My dear, list them for me. Just name those projects and locations. I want to know them. It will go a long way in clearing the air. |
IPOB is behind the commotion in ASO villa. I have every evidence to prove it. |
midnighter:Dear Midnighter, Please take it easy. You are taking it personal. Though I understand your point and equally agree with your submission. But tread softly. |
user283:My interest is borne out of your mission of getting married to her. I'll only advise to the best of my reasoning. Marriage is for mutual benefits, mutual love, mutual enjoyment, mutual care and ABOVE ALL, MUTUAL SHOULDERING OF CROSS if table turns around. My question is 'IF YOUR NIGHT TURNS TO DAY, WILL YOUR PARTNER STAND BY YOU?' Peradventure you lose your job years after marrying such a character, what will be your fate? You can manage everything in your life but marriage. Do not think of managing your marital life especially when you have clearly seen the signs ahead. Otherwise, you continue shooting your foot. Love is all about making sacrifices especially in hour of need. Anything short of this is fantasy. Some people who don't have at all go the extent of borrowing in the course of making sacrifice for love talk more of who have but not willing to give. Generosity is not measured when you are super-rich. Even the poor gives out of their shrunk purse. An age long problem with many of us, black Africans is that we hardly weigh our merits and demerits options before taking our decisions. The last thing I will tell you is to quit the relationship because I wasn't the brain behind its establishment. In your every action, let your conscience and deep wisdom guide you. Best of luck and blissful marriage in advance. [NB: I might be wrong but this is exclusively my opinion.] |
mrwonlasewonie:My dear, Ndidi Obi was never black. She has been light skinned from birth. It is like referring Ramsey Nouah as being black before. |
iluvdonjazzy:Hate speech! You hate bankers. Death sentence loading, Hahahaha! |
Adams Oshiomhole - 'one week, one trouble'! The last thing that can happen to a man is behaving exactly like 'phrasal words' use to taunt you. For instance, 'you dare not behave stupidly as a result of being called - A STUPID MAN'. When Adams Oshiomhole became national chairman of APC, many political juggernauts referred him as 'AN UNDERTAKER'. Please Mr. Chairman, do not live up to that prediction. Inasmuch as I detest the leadership style of APC current administration, I still clamour for strong and equally matched opposition party to always checkmate excesses of the ruling party and maintain challenge for better administration. It is a crystal truth that PDP is coming back. APC has failed Nigerians. Mark my words, PDP will perform better than this current APC. They will also make an atonement for their misdeeds and omissions. Be that as it may, we still need an equally matched political party as an alternative to serve as a threat to them. Opposition in politics is a driving factor for good governance. So, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, do not allow APC to die under your watch. If need be, let the NEC of the party do the needful for the betterment of our democracy, future and viable politics as I eagerly await the coming back of PDP. My only worry is the way Nigeria politicians switch tents with political parties. Before you know it, it becomes assembly of the same people. I pray that a law will be enacted to address that. Law like 10years probation after quitting a political party before joining another. |
I frown at naming Abuja National stadium after MKO Abiola to immortalize Abiola and June 12, 1993. I would have preferred national assembly complex named after MKO Abiola. More so, since we already have MKO Abiola stadium in Ogun State (I think in Abeokuta); Abuja national stadium should have been named after Sam Okwaraji who died on active service. I would have suggested renaming National stadium Surulere, Lagos (Okwaraji's actual death bed) after him but owing to its proximity to Teslim Balogun stadium that located opposite it and conflict of interest between Lagos state owned stadium and national stadium. I opined that Abuja stadium should be used to immortalize Sam Okwaraji. August 12, 1989. It is never a coincidence that the two dates fall on 12th. One is for political reason and the other for sports reason. {NB: My personal opinion. No string attached}. |
isgombe:Exclusively my opinion and candid advice to you! My dear, life is a mission. We all have different visions and targets. The climax of it is its fulfilment. Age doesn't matter. Provided you have something to drive, finance and sustain your life, do not care about how long it took you to fulfill your dreams. If you are looking at how long, you might not achieve it. Focus on how well and feasibility of achieving your dreams. Some people equally achieve similar feat at 50s and 60s. Concentrate on how best. As for me I don't mind achieving such dream at 50s or 60s. It is how best that matters. And your best is what you give to the society. Your impact on the society is a bedrock of your assessment. Some people became medical doctors in their late tens and early twenties and spent their entire life without much impact. Nobody knew of their existence. Whereas some made it in sixties, impacted positively on the society and were celebrated and being remembered. Above all, let your instinct guard you. |
MelesZenawi:With all due respect, educate me. I equally want to learn from you. Since you know much about it, tell me the difference, their origin and history. I believe other people will equally learn from you. |
MKPOKITI AND ATILOGWU DANCE! For clarity sake, there is no difference between Mkpokiti and Atilogwu dance except the nomenclature. The dance is originally 'Mkpokiti' from Umunze town in Anambra state as stated by the OP. Owing to its scintillating and electrifying displays, some people in amazement argued if the dance were fortified with charms ('Atunyere ogwu n'egwu a?' {Igbo language}). With this argument 'atunyere ogwu n'egwu a?' - meaning 'whether this dance was fortified with charms' (just like people are still asking on this thread) gives birth to the name 'Atilogwu' - derived from 'Atunyere ogwu'. Many towns embrace the dance and it spread to other Igbo towns and beyond Igbo speaking area as 'Mkpokiti' or 'Atilogwu' dance. |
GoTV:If truly you are 'born again Christian' as claimed and genuinely made the above utterances, more so, judging by your utterances, if they were characteristics of a 'born again Christians' I disassociate myself from Christendom. I will rather practice any other religion that respect sanctity of human life, love, tolerance, peace and forgiveness. Please do not allow hatred to so much engulf you into blaspheming a respectable and true religion on altar of political absurdity. |
Naijaarchive:In response to your view, it wasn't money but cooked beans and bread. The vehicles were not bullion vans but ambulances. Even if they were bullion vans filled with bundles of N1,000 notes, just like Ganduje and the dollar video, the picture or video could equally be judged doctored and not real. It is only in Nigeria that 'black' are judged to be 'white' no matter the evidence on ground. Provided you affiliate with the ruling party, you are guiltless. Every petition or charges against you are dismissed on technicalities, lack of merits and sundries. I'm not in any position to argue if it is someone's personal money or not, but my question is HOW MANY BULLION VANS ENTER HOUSES OF THE LIKES OF DANGOTES? With regard to some comments in this thread, let me believe that we are not being bewitched. |
Congrats Mercy! But why all these? * BBN star Mercy eating rice with delicious stew! * BBN star Mercy swimming in a cool pool! * BBN star Mercy drinking Pepsi with a cute straw! * BBN star Mercy shopping in Shoprite! Enough of all these needless publicity. Nigeria media should allow this girl to think, plan and dictate her future. Before you know it, they will indirectly conjure her into frivolous life style and the cumulative N60million will continue depleting. This is why whites remain focus owing to giving no room for distractions. |
Inasmuch as we are to respect each others believe and system of worship, but we shouldn't mock GOD in disguise. Quran, Bible, Scroll etc are holy books of worship. They contain words of GOD. Human beings are created in image and likeness of GOD. Human beings as an entity propagate the word of GOD. Quran, Bible that was printed, duplicated, bond and published as books (holy books) were done by human beings. In the course of publishing a book some copies with inscriptions ended up as waste and find its way in refuse dumps. More so, old, mutilated and loosened Bibles and Qurans that defy binding might also find its way in refuse dumps. Are such circumstances amount to blasphemous or sacrilegious? Remember, it was found in sewage in primary school. Please those little pupils are minors. Whoever did that might be oblivious of sheet of paper in his/her possession. My questions are 1. How did they discover it? 2.How did the copies of Quran find its way in the hands of the user? Enough of all these fanaticism and hypocritical holier than thou pretence. Zamfara government should save us all these ridicules by building modern toilets and equip our institutions with hygienic toiletries. For instance, “[As for] the thief, the male and the female, amputate their hands in recompense for what they earned [i.e. committed] as a deterrent [punishment] from Allah. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.” [Quran 5:38]. In view of this, how many politicians and so call bandits has been amputated? If you are to keep the law, keep the whole law. Do not be selective. Quran did not say that negotiation or amnesty should be given. If you want to be civil, be civil to the core. If you opt for sharia, be sharia to the core. Stop mocking GOD. I believe we have been fooled enough. |
BrainnewsNg:Please tell them. I've said it before and will still say it again and again. FIRS only paid 10% of N900Billion which amount to N90Billion as a TITHE through Pastor Yemi Osinbajo. Simple! |
NwaAmaikpe:I concur. Nothing will happen to him. Professor Osinbajo will remain the VP or even something higher than VP till 2023. He is a very good lawyer, SAN for that matter and also a pastor (senior pastor). As a pastor, if the heat of N90billion allegation and sundry gets much, he should quickly tell Nigerians that FIRS and other governmental agencies paid 'TITHE' through him. Simple! |
Odinceblog1:If truly he has the magic wand to reverse climatic change, this appeal is uncall for. I suggest UN should advise him to use Lake chad basin test run his idea of reversing climatic change and report to them two years after of progress made so far. |
Boringdraw1:Oh! You are a bit ahead of me. Yes, he is number 16 and you are number 17. I settle for number 18 QED. |
ednut1:If you are operating a grocery shop or petrol station and after daily sales, cash at hand runs in million, how will you manage such a situation? Won't you carry the cash and deposit in a bank? Will you insist that all customers payment must be electronically on this 'network failure' operating environment? Oh! I forgot, we should embrace cheque payment. Take your cheque book and run to grocery shop or petrol station and see who will attend or listen to you. You don't just erect a house without digging and ensuring strong foundation. Cashless society is a healthy practice, but we haven't done much in building strong foundation for it to thrive in Nigeria. A country that doesn't have central data, improve electricity, reliable internet service provider and advance technology cannot effectively operate cashless society. Wait, why do we want to operate cashless society that involves electronic business transaction for everybody, but we can't implement and embrace electronic voting for adults (voting age) exclusively? This is more beyond the eyes can see. [somebody who has not experienced electric shock will never know that electricity is both precious and dangerous]. |
LongThickPenis:Inasmuch as I respect your opinion. Personally, Femi did no wrong. If truly Shan George made those statements, It is either she never needed help or she don't know the value of life. Many people are in hospitals soliciting for help to overcome different life threatening conditions. And the much needed help becomes far fetched. In state of crisis or SOS, pride and ego are relegated. Though I never pray to be a victim, but life is unpredictable. My prayer is that peradventure I find myself in SOS condition, may GOD provide me a helper who will definitely come to my rescue, broadcast it in social media, news media (both radio and television stations), world dailies and sundries. I don't care. My life is far more important than my pride and ego. |
Siralgebra04:You are 100% right and I thank GOD they were not hurt. And other tribes are thousands killed and returning back home. Even if Igbo man walks in the valley of shadow of death, he will come out unhurt for GOD is with him. May GOD of Igbo nation continue to protect their children. |
titiloyeblog:I appreciate the counsel of our VP's wife or (second lady). In addition to your burning desire to have modest youths in our society, I appeal on you to use your position, influence and opportunity to prevail on your husband, liaise, with first lady and get in touch with Mr President. Tell them to create jobs for Nigerian youths with resources at their disposals, through economic driven policies and sundries. I tell you most solemnly, if Nigerian youths are gainfully employed, little or nobody will have time for internets. Drug abuse and other criminalities will be a thing of the past. As a wife of a pastor, I believe you are very much aware of what an idle mind as a result of joblessness is to the devil. Of a truth, millions of jobless Nigerian youths are visiting internet to find succour and pacify their already made miserable, frustrated and despaired life. You can't beat a child and deny him right to cry. With all due respect madam, I can assist in suggesting a way forward. For instance, with your position, suggest outright ban of some good for nothing reality TV show like this ongoing Big Brother Nigeria and replace it with other impactful reality challenge for our teaming youths. Something like bringing youths from different geopolitical zones in groups. Provide materials and formulae for them. Mandate them to fabricate Television, fridge or (other electronics). Those in medical field can be mandated to manufacture vacines or even perform kidney transplant on monkeys or guinea-pigs. Give them time frame to execute such challenge. Great rewards awaits people that came successful. By doing so, you are not only empowering the youths but also making them productive in the society. This will become win-win to everybody in the sense that even unsuccessful participants learnt something new, becomes more equipped and effect of such initiatives will bring educational, technological and economic revolution in every facet of our society. FELLOW NIGERIANS PLEASE JOIN ME IN BRINGING GOOD SUGGESTIONS AND INNOVATION TO OUR LEADERS. |
1StopRudeness:Hmmm! Let me not comment my reservation. |
Terrible
Even though I'm a born again Christian, Nnamdi Kanu is a disgrace to every Christian worldwide from the religious perspective for aligning with Israel and Judaism. A well known terrorist like Kanu who almost made we Christians clash with our peaceful Muslim brothers because of his incessant hate speeches towards the north and the west doesn't deserve to see the light of the day. I suggest the federal government seize his mother's corpse for following the useless man to court in Abuja in solidarity and cremate it to serve as a deterrence to parents Who supports their children's criminality or feed her carcass to the Crocs in Nile river. Nnamdi kanu deserves to be locked up at ADX Florence in Colorado with the likes of his fellow terrorists like Elchapo and Muttalab for endangering the unity of our beloved country Nigeria.
