FamilyRe: How To Encourage Parents To Let Daugthers Stay With Boyfriends Overnight? by jkpretty(f): 1:58pm On Feb 26, 2008
This topic is just too funny

Which parent will allow her child to sleep in her boyfriend's house huh

The truth is that ironically many parents know their children would have at one time or the other slept in their boyfriend's house but would rather delete the thought from their brain. grin

Ur prayer as a parent is that ur female child falls into the right hands. Kapish!

I'm wondering the essence of the male virginity test. Ladies don't want u to prove ur virginity undecided They are not expecting u to be one.

even if the hymen is altered by horseback riding and gymnastics, it still remains there even where stretched. Is is not lost. Yup! Once a guy has "released" even in his wet dreams, he is no longer a virgin, for he has "eaten" the forbidden fruit and know what wild "passion" is! kiss

But really @Topic i don't want to know

It depends, whoever is more in love feels the pain more.

Whatever, it makes u both know the value of what u have.

Went thru a rough time with my boo & got separated early January, I told friends & family it was over & i was gladly enjoying being single altho it wasn't funny. I thot he was over it too, not knowing he was battling with his emotions/Ego. He called on Vals night & we made back together finally yesterday. Sweet confessions, lol. It just looks like we just started afresh. I'm actually glad we had that break. It was worth it cheesy

P.S if he/she loves u they'll always get back

stillwater:
That was funny grin grin ;DWe used to play with sand in our backyard that was fenced all round. Sand was our rice, some water leaves growing was our soup with water, stones were our meat. There was a ladder we placed on some tall wall, so that we could sight our father's car from afar before he sneaks up on us. If we happen to see him, everyone would throw away what we've been doing, rush into the bathroom, put on our night gowns and behave like saints. cheesy
Yes we did all that shit, we built houses with sand, we put our feet and mold sand on it. we make soup with grasses & leaves, we make "Eba" with sand & water. With lots & lots of mummy & daddy. grin. But just wonder why they mustn't just catch us undecided
You are definitely one of the few that the whole "same sex school keep you from boys" crap worked on because seriously it's usually the exact OPPOSITE. Those are the ones are so bloody boy crazy. I remember the ones around ISI, the way they would throw themselves on ISI boys was so pathetic. The guys that we wouldnt give a time of day those desperate tarts would become their sex slaves. pitiful.

I wouldnt send my kids to a boarding school nor a same sex one.
meeeen! i saw lots of that in high school, u could almost slap your friend. @Aj
Thanx for the enlightenment

This topic is just too sensitive, but really i like the poster honesty with fact about what happend & his decision.

If the poster were your brother, many of the girls that have written otherwise wouldn't see his decision unwise. No body wants trouble nor the smell of it. Nobody wants his brother to live in a world of possibilities. i'm looking at it like if my brother walks up to me and tells me a story like this. I think he tried in his little way, if he didn't care enough for her he wouldn't have tried seeking help (treatment) and also its not every lady a guy meets that he wants to bare his child.

And if the lady in question were my sister, i'm sure i would have hated the poster but i'm quite sure in my little room i'lld wonder how she got to that stage. huh

Fine, many people may say isn't a relationship all about love. NAHHHHHHHHH There's more to relationship than two people in love or to talk of marriage.

Now @Poster
I'ld say u shouldn't completely cut yourself off her, altho, like u said she knows where u are getting at. Let her know u'lld like to offer any help she might need. I sense a feeling of guilt in u. I'm sure that's what made u come here. Since u don't want her anymore, don't get close but be of help.
FamilyRe: What Should A Parent Do When Their Pikin Wowo? by jkpretty(f): 4:28pm On Feb 22, 2008
A beg to differ o, there are wowo babies o, their are some babies u want to greet "cute baby" that the words will just hang in your mouth. shocked and u find urself saying "baby baby".

FamilyRe: Parents That Don't Let Their Children Out Of The House by jkpretty(f): 3:16pm On Feb 22, 2008
My childhood was just in between strictness & caringly instructing. we were not locked up always growing up as a child but i simply cannot understand the reason why once we hear the horn of my father's car, everybody hurries from wherever to find their way home, even our dog of then hurries back in side. Every one forms activity by quickly finding a book to read. We hurry to the dining table with our books (how can i forget times table) The first question that comes out of my father's mouth is "have u finished learning your times table" "which one are u now, let me hear your 8 times table" and i could almost die if i can't recite it well. shocked

I had this Ghanian home teacher Mrs. mensah who took away most of my activities after school, it was always lesson after lesson. Abi na me won become Nigerian president. So every free time i had was used in utmost joy & gladness. Same with my siblings. "You have to pass your common entrance" was what they rang in my head, but thank God i gave them what they wanted. tongue

Going to Secondary school was like "waiting to exhale" . I saw it as a get-away. I got admission into a Boarding school, a single sex school for that matter. Little did i know what was coming. My parents thot going to a single sex school was going to keep me off boys. Yes it did, it actually kept me off boys the whole six years i used in high school & so pathetic that when i graduated i found it hard to hold conversation with a guy. This wasn't funny at all. Not like i didn't know what to say but i couldn't just understand huh So it looked like i was kind of snobbish to guys, but thank God i had an elder brother with friends, that soon made me get over it. But truly i can say it helped me stay off boys till i was emotionally ready to date cheesy Now guy friends are somewot the best.

Basically i think the primary school molding by my parents was good enough, it yielded good results but secondary school's was bad i almost swore never to send my child to a single sex school.

Oops! my Dad's mode of punishment was pulling my ears & twisting hard, i tell u its lots worse than pankere, i dreaded that shit as a child.

RomanceRe: He Needs To Grow Up by jkpretty(f): 12:14pm On Feb 22, 2008
I could have asked u what attracted u to him in the first place, but like u said u were younger when u started. This kind of men are types that u pull & drag every now & then b4 they can stand up to do something for themselves . This can affect ur home & future, to them everything is ok, they have no positive drive neither are they ambitious. I had a friend that dated this type of guy, she had to leave him. He was also this clubbing/leaning of parents kind of guy, always telling her things will be okay yet no effort. My friend was overtly too ambitious for that kind of person so she had to leave.

U have to have a good talk with him. Even after that talk u have to keep reminding him the things to be done, but these has to be done carefully in other for him not to think u are the one dictating. Ask him what he's interested in doing first of all (his dream), map out strategies in helping him achieve it. Men like this need to be pushed. But lots better when they are involved in what they love doing best. Be wise girl. wink

RomanceRe: How To Spot A Playa by jkpretty(f): 3:51pm On Feb 21, 2008
Just when u are about thinking a girl is stupid, just know u are about the stupidest person. I basically just wonder the set of girls some guys term as fish brains.

Girls naturally know when they being played, the option is now open to them to decide on which step to take. The option taken could actually vary tho. depending, on what each girl want from a guy. Many girls sense this, they know when they are being played on, their emotional attachment to the relationship truly may make them suck!!! the strength to walk away from the relationship might be what strains them, which makes some wait & hope for a change or finally walk away when they realise he can't change.

Now i say there's no smooth/sleek/experienced/blabla player. A player always & will always leave loop holes. U can never get away dat successfully. She knows, she has just decided to keep mute.

Think ladies are stupid? U'll be surprised u also have a player on ur chess board & she'll be checkmating soon. cool

RomanceRe: Is She Right ? by jkpretty(f): 1:20pm On Feb 19, 2008
Well, she maybe right?

Since the ur story isn't broad enough, i'll create a perspective.

Looking at it from an angle that though true she earns far above u, and probably has never asked u such favour. She might actually be stunned that that's all u cld get her. U might have been too blinded groaning over the fact that she earns more than u to actually see that she really actually needed the money & finds it difficult asking anybody else but her boyfi.

Since u said u've not done it, i believe u still can't do it. Maybe its just an inflated desire in u waiting to be achieved but never will. undecided
RomanceRe: Gun Ownership by jkpretty(f): 10:36am On Feb 18, 2008
But seriously funmi Have u used the gun u possess b4? Can u actually fire at someone? I mean fine, there has to have been something that would have spurred that action, but just thinking about it. I think i'll fidget to death. Is it shooting to death actually or shooting to actually render the attacker incapable maybe disabled. Just wondering. undecided Even if i'm given a gun today i don't think i know where to hold it. Keeping a gun really aint it. The devil is always at work. Cos u may end up using it at the slightest provocation, & aim at someone u'll regret over & over again.

Welcome back tho, nice to have u around, but chill on them men, u r gonna marry one
