The truth is that our African traditional religion remains the best if only people can be open-minded enough to accept it. People need to know that being adherents of traditional African religion does not stop them from modernization and development. They can be able to merge western civilisation with traditional practices. |
You were not consulted before the strike began, so why do you think your opinion is now needed to call off the strike or not. |
The older generation currently at the helm of affairs in this country needs to act fast and put laws in place to help protect the younger and unborn generations of this country. Agreed that they (older generation) spoilt this country but they can still do something to create a relatively liveable nation, if not for the poor masses but for their own children. A time will come when looted funds in foreign banks cannot help your children. Create a decent society for your born and unborn children to inherit. Bequeathing a better Nigerian society to your children is much better than any amount of money saved in foreign banks for them. Let's stop all these mindless corruption and lawlessness going on in Nigeria today and think about posterity. |
Simonokeh7:Are you really sure you need an "anecdotal" counsel? Anyways, I think a sworn affidavit would suffice in your case. |
DamZik:There was never a time government agreed to totally exempt ASUU from IPPIS. Government only agreed to pay those who haven't registered on IPPIS via the old platform pending the conclusion of tests on UTAS. People just quoted the agreement out of context. |
You know you're lying |
edoairways:Strike cannot be the only means of getting the government do the right thing. There are many ways to kill a rat. This is not military era. |
Good one. CONUA should do things differently by applying wisdom when making any demands from government. Instead of embarking on serial strikes that end up traumatizing the students, they should learn to make their demands through the different arms and organs of government. |
PremzY0001:Point of correction ---they are wicked! Some of them know that people could die from wrong usage of drugs, but they still go ahead to poison people with drugs. I lost my dad due to drug misuse caused by a quack nurse who administered wrong and deadly drug on him. Just recently, I almost lost a cousin due to wrong combination of drugs from a quack patent medicine vendor that caused her heart to start mis-firing until I intervened. The list is endless! Due to poor regulation, drugs in this country kill more people than we know, but the government isn't doing much to stop the ugly trend. |
Maxcollins042:Balderdash! Lagos has always been maintaining standards in healthcare delivery even before EndSARS protest. |
God bless Lagos state for always blazing the trail in maintaining standards of healthcare delivery. It's good that Lagos is moving forward while others are still stuck in the dark. |
CheGuevara102:Just a small number of women are into that sh1t |
crackhaus:I hope so |
If anything happens to this man today, God forbid, there'll be trouble among his wives. There's no rationale in marrying more than one wife. If he doesn't know what else to do with money, why not use his money for charity like whites do. Or are blacks cursed with extreme selfishness ![]() |
At least final year students can restart their abandoned projects. |
samuelpeters:There are also medical doctors who are incompetent just like there are those who are good. I have seen many doctors who are grossly incompetent! You clearly do not know the requirements a pharmacist has to meet to qualify as a consultant. Perhaps you don't know that there is a 5years residency training involved. No pharmacist would become a consultant just on the basis of number of years in service without going through the residency training. |
samuelpeters:How did you arrive at the conclusion that they'll bastardize it? Perhaps your thinking is that every other healthcare professional is like the Nigerian physician whose stock in trade is bastardization of the healthcare sector. Why is it so hard for some of you to understand the fact that no pharmacist worth his license would waste his time being envious of you Nigerian physicians or trying to be you All the pharmacist are saying is give them room to do their jobs to the fullest as obtains in the developed societies, they are not trying to usurp your duties.Only doctors who don't know their callings would be bothered about the roles of consultant pharmacists! The roles are very distinct! Try and decipher your role and fit in instead of whining. |
I support this move. The level of exam malpractices in ESUT calls for military actions! Lol |
Commissioner for health died of complications from a surgery done probably by a quack doctor due to failure of mr commissioner to properly regulate medical practice in his state. Those of you who fail to do your jobs diligently when entrusted with public offices always forget that no amount of looted public funds can save your asszes from the rots you create in the society. If you don't pay directly with your lives, your children and /or unborn generations will surely pay. |
That's good! Please, when is the protest going to start ![]() |
Marriage is simply overrated. It is not important in a guy's life! |
Prof is always on point. |
Ok o |
Only some senseless Nigerian assholes talk trash about black Americans. I see those Nigerians who make derogatory remarks about black Americans as poor students of history or some overfed kids who need to be properly schooled about the struggles BAs went through to make it possible for Africans to have some breathing space in not just America but the rest of the western world. I personally LOVE black Americans because I know their history. |
In this impending students' demonstration, none should be spared! All those ego-centric f00ls at the Accountant-general's office should be made to suffer consequences of their stubborn and egotistic insistence on IPPIS. ASUU members (especially those old wicked professors) should be made to also suffer for their selfish and uncaring attitudes about the plights of Nigerian students. Then, the mother of all onslaughts should be directed at federal government, all the concerned government agencies and parastatals that have fueled this strike in one way or the other. None should be spared!!! |
zickyclef:The yeye strike is depressing jare. It's not funny spending two years in the same class. |
Please let's trend it on twitter this weekend and hit the streets from monday morning. |
It's unfortunate that the meeting that led to the current ASUU strike took place in ESUT, yet ESUT lecturers and those of other state universities are currently in session and about to write exams. They voted for the strike, yet couldn't see to the end of the strike. They're only fooling lecturers of the federal universities! Yeye people! |
Ryan03:Yeah, SARS started fuccking up because the powers that be failed to do what was supposed to be done. We all know the history of events that led to formation of SARS. People in Anambra / Enugu in particular should be grateful to SARS for how they faught armed robbers in the area. Only the younger generation or those with severe amnesia would not acknowledge the roles SARS played in securing lives and properties in Anambra /Enugu axis in particular and Nigeria at large. SARS deteriorated because of failure of government, and that is because of the calibre of people Nigerians elect as leaders. All that was needed was a continuos reformation of the police unit both in terms of quality of personels and remuneration. But the organization was left to rot away even after achieving significant success in securing lives and properties of Nigerians. |
When some people decided to #EndSARS, I knew it wasn't going to end well for the security situation of the country, hence I decided to sit on the fence while the whole protest was going on. Now that SARS have been ended, armed robbers have taken over the streets of Nigeria and now operate freely even in broad daylight. There are many other things to protest against(eg ASUUstrike), but we decided to EndSARS instead of asking for a police reform without necessarily ending SARS. Moral of the story: before embarking on any agitations, it is good to THINK things through and weigh the pros against the cons. |
#EndSARS #EndASUUstrike |
