Samantha125:The point is that marriage is not necessarily about common interests but the ability to accommodate and manage differences from the other partner because you love them. This is why people from different professional backgrounds still marry and make great couples. If it's about interests, then one must then have to marry from one's profession eg doctors vs doctors, lawyers vs lawyers, engineers vs engineers etc |
Samantha125:From the beginning of time, marriage has got little to do with common interests or characteristics but being able to marry individual differences together. Someone from American with an entirely different culture and someone from the Igbo tribe in Nigeria have little in common in terms of culture and individual characteristics but they can marry their individual differences together and thrive in marriage. That's what marriage is about! Besides, being 15years older or younger doesn't mean they can't have a lot in common! |
I wholeheartedly support the US on any action to end Islamic terrorism in Nigeria! Thank you Trump! |
Samantha125:Marriage is not about what you have in common. If that's the case, there won't be interracial marriages! |
This is why the likes of kobojonkie have not gotten married until she has turned into a bitter woman in her fifties whose stock in trade is discrediting marriage and making it seem like all married folks are suffering. Nigerian women really need a strong reorientation on how modern modern relationships and marriages ought to work. |
folake4u:Stop saying the average Nigerian man please. Instead, say primitive Nigerian man. I don't think any modern Nigerian man wouldn't want his wife to be sexually expressive in bed because that's where the fun is. As far as I am concerned, there's no fun in the act if the woman cannot express her needs in bed. It becomes monotonous and boring if she just lays there without participating. |
There's a systematic genocide targeting the Christian population in Nigeria! The northern political elites are well aware of this plan and because they constitute the majority in the national assembly and also hold substantial positions in the executive, they tacitly give political supports to this plan! The ''japa" syndrome that has become common among the Christian youths is attributable to this genocide. Nobody wants to exist and birth his/her offsprings in a country where their safety cannot be guaranteed. Let the sultan and the political class keep denying what's very glaring for all discerning minds to see. We didn't expect otherwise from them! |
Very good decision! Please Trump, we support every action of the US to protect the Christian population in Nigeria! Sharia law does not respect fundamental human rights! It is barbaric to say the least! Nigeria and Nigerians must be freed from Islamic fundamentalism! |
Thank you Donald Trump for speaking the truth! The massacre of Christians in Nigeria is very glaring for all to see. Those who play politics with the lives of Nigerians are the ones denying this obvious fact. From Plateau State to Benue to Taraba, Adamawa, down to Enugu, Ondo and so on. The jihadists have been on killing spree while our politicians do nothing to stop them! |

Situations like this are really tough for men! Men love children alot and tend to bond more with them. So, having to unlove a loved child is really difficult. Let's just pray we don't find ourselves in that position, but in the event that it happens, I think the best thing is to adopt the child even while treating the woman's fackup. After all, people have been adopting and raising other people's children since the beginning of time. My mom adopted and raised two children abandoned at infancy, so it's no big deal provided the fund is there. |
Why are all of them carrying blue gas cylinders? Seems they have a rule in Tanzania that all cooking gas cylinders must be blue in colour. |
When you do the arithmetics of the figures shown in this report, you'll discover that the Southeast and Southsouth regions were left to share a paltry 322 slots! Yet during elections, some people will come and divide the two regions by demonizing the southeast before the Southsouth people and making them believe that Igbos are their problems! At the end of the day both regions get cheated when the national largesse is being shared. The marginalisation of the southeast and Southsouth regions of this country is just too glaring in all sectors of the country's economy! It's too bad for a supposed "one Nigeria" |

This is too bad! No right thinking human would ever do such evil to their own offsprings! This is total insanity! |
pocohantas:Lolzzzz... you know that day I was forming macho |
Houseofglam7:The mind of a 'woman' in this case please |
dangotesmummy:Not always the case. Sometimes you sow good seeds but end up with poor harvest due to bad soils and other factors |
God abeg make next year no pass without me getting married o! @pocohantas will laugh at me if she sees this my post. She once told me that a time would come when I'll hunger for a wife but I didn't believe her then. Now it's happening o |
Congratulations to you baby girl! More wins is what I wish you. |
Joeboypondeck:Abeg, are you a girl? So I can stay far away! The only one I can delete on the list is the internet Money is life itself! Food keeps one living! Sex is as important as food Also helps procreation |
The mother was to blame in all that happened there. She should have cautioned the boy after the first attempt. The boy doesn't know the implication of what he was doing. He's just a child! |
franchasofficia:This is far from the truth! The problem isn't that there are no men to marry them, rather ladies of this generation refuse to marry because of some unrealistic standards and expectations which they set for themselves. Many of them need reorientation about marriage by successful married women. They need to be made to understand that a guy must not be a Dangote before marriage and that it is okay to join heads with their men to make wealth for the family. |
Dad was 30 Mom was 15 |
naijapikin2:One man's food is truly another man's poison! Me I don't like girls with those kind of body build at all...I won't say I hate them because that'll be too hash. I like my girls in-between in size and average or shorter in height. |
pocohantas:It is not about being among the top percentile or whatever. We know these facts from real world experiences and examples around us. In my village, there are many polygamous men who had their 2nd, 3rd or even 4th wives in their 60s and still had children from such wives. Some of our siblings were given birth to when our dads were in their mid fifties and these siblings of ours are doing excellently well. Stop being deceived by some of these so called researches carried out by feminist groups with preconceived outcomes! |
Please be strong and help your brother as much as you can to graduate. You never can tell if he's the one God wants to use to bless your family! Encourage your other siblings to get jobs so that they can contribute to the finances of your family. Let them get jobs no matter how small! Also, don't reject marriage for fear of being mocked by your husband because of your family's financial background. Instead, look for a good guy who is genuinely in love with you. A guy who genuinely loves you would not like seeing your family suffer! Your problems would be his problems. A drop of tears from your eyes would stab his heart like a spear so he wouldn't want anything that would make his baby girl cry. That's what genuine love feels like but some ladies would go and marry rubbish and start calling all men scum! Don't reject good men because of what you read on social media, rather look for a genuine lover. |
Queenslander:I have taken side already and I'm always standing by my dear Gina! Even making her cry at all was enough offence by Ned Nwoko |
Queenslander:He beat her and also sent thugs after her |
Condolences to you Senator Abba Moro. May God rest their souls in perfect peace...Amen |
Queenslander:I dey vex for the man. Why he go beat that girl? |
