You are funny..It's the same....Both classes want a logical and physically tangible proof....Atheists don't just wake up and reject the God idea...It's because the idea doesn't seat with their carnal logic thinking....Meaning they want infallible proofs....Same as agnostics....U want proof
They are not the same bro. Atheists do not believe in the existence of god or gods. They already claim to KNOW that god or gods don't exist. Agnostics on the other hand, do not know if god or gods exist. They simply have not been convinced by evidence that god exists. They are still open to knowledge in my opinion.
But if you believe I'm atheist, so be it. No need to argue
Education › Re: Will The ASUU Strike That Have Kept Youth Out Of School Affect Election Outcome? by Jman06(m): 6:04pm On Feb 02, 2019
lezan:
If I am the sitting government with all the parameters available I will not want ASUU strike to be called off...cause presently the government does not have a favorable chance among the youths which constitutes majority of university students. I’ll prefer them to be home with their parents away from their voters registration center. That way they can be disenfranchised cause I don’t see any parent allowing his or her child to leave their custody when ASUU is on strike most especially that the elections are around the corner. This way the population of the youths is inconsequential and can’t be factored into this present election.

My verdict is that many youths want change of government but they are already disenfranchised before the election began.

The present situation still favors the present government of the day though they can’t be entirely blamed for the problem of the education sector.
Shalom
If this is their plan then it is dead on arrival because many students are presently in school. You need to come to uniben to see the number of students on ground, and those are the angry students capable of coming out to vote. Not the mummy's kids who will even be scared of coming out on election day.

Dont forget dat this strike is not up to 2 months, and u are already making ur own conclusions. How do you know buhari isn't going to release more than the 2013 TETFUND.
Also put into consideration dat there is election at hand, so FG does not have enough fund at hand, due to the election budget and also dont have enough time. But in 2013 there was no special activity taking place in dat year, and the FG also had enough time. Still it took Jonathan 6 good month b4 he could release funds. My brother our strike is not even up to 2 months, not to talk of 6 months. Let the election b over and am sure the govt will focus on ASUU
A government that slashed allocation to education sector to 7.03%? A government that has severally told us that education doesn't contribute to GDP growth? A government that has refused to sponsor our scholars studying abroad thereby leaving them stranded? It is only a tall dream for ASUU to believe that this government is going to give them more money after the election. With so many debts incurred during the election? And having no more fear of election loss?

I only pity the students

Seeing as you are wise in your own eye, the bible has given reasons as to why the things of God are hidden from people like you. Also giving you that strong delusion of disbelief so you can perish for not believing the truth of God but having pleasure in unrighteousness.

Luke 10: 21

At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do.

2 Thessalonians 2:11-12

For this reason, God will send them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie, in order that judgment will come upon all who have disbelieved the truth and delighted in wickedness.

During Jonathan's era, in 2013 ASUU went on a 6 months strike. Does dat mean he is an illiterate. U guys should learn to think b4 typing
And at the end of the day an agreement was reached on how to revitalize the universities. Jonathan showed he was committed to revitalizing the universities by giving the first tranche of the money. He was ready to release the subsequent tranches after the 2015 election. He also created the new federal universities and awarded scholarships to train many scholars through TETFUND, PTDF and the rest. That's enough commitment towards education and only someone who understands the importance of education can do that. Buhari isn't doing that and is never going to care much about education because he lacks understanding of the importance of education. ASUU shouldn't expect much from Buhari's government because Buhari and his cabals believe that education doesn't contribute to GDP and so shouldn't be invested in.

ASUU care because many of their children are affected too.
The big men in ASUU don't have their children schooling in public universities. Many of them belong to the top echelon of university managements who embezzle funds meant for revitalizing public universities. They are the ones who go to senate meetings and instigate the strikes so they can get money from government to embezzle, while the others sheepishly follow them.

Government should endeavor to follow up any money they release to ASUU to ensure good accountability.

The students are already suffering. Many who were due for service by January couldn't be mobilized. ASUU doesn't care about the interests of students.

You wouldn't understand those lecturers are ready for the strike even if it one year without pay. This is not the first time they had experienced this
Then let them kuku close down the universities because Buhari is not giving them anything outside the little he has agreed to. It will be worse after the election, especially if Buhari wins.

Let them close down the universities for all I care but government should stop paying them salaries they didn't work for.

The stories in the bible are inconsistent and fallacious. Christians need to rewrite the book to at least sound convincing.

I don't know where u drew ur falacy impaired conclusion from...but last I checked the number of Christian all over the world have been increasing since the the word Christian came into existence...Many atheist haven't even read the half the Bible, some haven't even read it at all....The idea of God doesn't just sit well with most atheist. It has nothing to do with the Bible....There have always been people who don't believe in God since the beginning of time before Christianity or Muslim or other religions arrived...
There are atheists who are more versed in the bible than many Christians. Some started off as agnostics but after studying the bible they became atheists.

The book is fast losing its relevance bro. The so many inconsistencies and mind boggling fallacies in the bible is another reason why many people are turning atheists.
Christianity Etc › Why Christians Need To Edit The Bible by Jman06(op): 9:45pm On Feb 01, 2019
Christians urgently need to edit the bible because people are becoming smarter with the advancement in science and technology. The stories no longer make sense to many as more people are becoming smarter by the day. So, in order to remain relevant, there's need for Christian leaders to edit the stories to at least sound a little intelligent and convincing.
If not, a time would come when even kids would no longer believe the stories, but would laugh their asses off when they are told the bible stories.

My 2 cents

Fvckk you!

Same foolish lecturers campaigned for and voted in this brainless man in Aso rock against Jonathan who is one of them and who was set out to reposition the education sector. Who reached agreement to inject money into the system and promptly released the first tranche of the money. The same supposedly learned people chose an illiterate over Jonathan, yet they now expect the illiterate to give what he doesn't have.

Isn't it akin to deliberately subjecting the students to unnecessary delays when ASUU insists on Buhari releasing the money they are asking forhuh knowing fully well that Buhari has little regard for education and will not release the money for themhuh That is one of the reasons why I'm angry with ASUU because I'm sure that even Ogunyemi voted for Buhari.

Bro, I am born and bred 042. I am also not a biased Nigerian. You cannot give us half picture...bring the full picture. ESUT was relocated to his town and was not completed? undecided I'll bet your balls that if am the governor, any project am taking to my home will be completed in the first tenure as I cannot fathom an incoming to complete it for me!

I'll give him kudos for parklane though.

@bolded makes me suspect if you're really in 042. You cannot by any sensibility or stretch of imagination say the bolded. I'll just believe you just mistakenly typed that. Ciao!
Bro, apart from the few road projects in Enugu metropolis, mention other projects completed by Sullivan.
I know the grudge many of you have against Chimaroke is the fact that ESUT was relocated to Agbani, but for crying out loud, everybody from the state still benefit from ESUT. Check the number of employees in ESUT as well as the number of students, you'll find out that the majority are not even from Nkanu.
It is not easy relocating a whole university to a permanent site at once. Even many federal universities still operate from their temporary sites. Many faculties in the old site were successfully relocated to Agbani before the end of Chima's tenure. The remaining ones have been recently relocated.

Are we to talk about Enugu state college of education (technical) that is one of the best in the south east? Bro, accept that Chimaroke left eternal legacies in terms of projects that would stand the test of time.

I know how many people that were lifted above the poverty line by Chimaroke. Even Gburugburu is Chimaroke's product. The man has a large heart! When people support him, they are not doing that blindly, he did some things to deserve the support he's getting.

FYI, I'm also from 042, born and raised in Achara layout.

lolzzz...Which jobs? Ebeano housing is it up to 25 duplexes?(for a whole state) A good percentage of ESUT is still not completed even till today. Is the the amaechi bridge that collapsed in less than a year? Is the the introduction of cultism into mainstream politics? Was it the rampant assassination and thuggery that was abound?

Sullivan dreaded the main government house when he took over from him...Do you know why? Did you not hear the rumours?

Yes he was a grass-root politician but he was also an intolerant entity with an evil mind! His coming back into politics was a tactical move by Gburugburu seeing that sullivan and co decamped to APC. He couldn't allow another ex-governor join that unholy alliance of a party!
Some parts of ESUT are still not completed and it is supposed to be the fault if Chimarokehuh What did Sullivan do in completing themhuh Compare what is left with what was put on ground by Chimaroke. Starting and completing the relocation of ESUT to its permanent site is not an easy task. I also forgot ESCET and co. Parklane was in a sorry state before Chimaroke came on board, today it is an accredited teaching hospital. These are tangible projects that have direct impact on people's lives. Mention one of such projects that was done by Sullivan. All he did was use state's money to party and buy kia picanto for small girls.

All of the above. Lagos to Ore road was smooth and under 6 hours. The first time I went to Lagos from Warri in Abacha's time was almost 10 hours.

Power supply in our area was at leat 18 hours a day (now it is less than 12 hours)

Men my nephews and nieces were born without a dime.

They constructed bridges in my state.

I did not have to do home lesson till 6 to write common entrance (my teachers where that good and my school fees was less than #5000 then)

Corruption and stealing is still going on (Gaduje is an example and APC offered us #5000 for our voters card in my area last week)

Security is the worst now. They kidnapped a full bus load of people two days back. Did you not see it on nairaland?

Now let me tell you more I enjoyed. Ability of my sisters to train themselves through universities by selling recharge cards and not their bodies to men. Ability to pay for the first skill I learnt with that same recharge card sales. A business started with less than #10,000 then.

What about honor, then being a yahoo boy was a thing of shame, now boys wear the name with pride.

What about youwin, yagep and surep my friends won to start their business they thrived in. Not this #30,000 nonsense that is not responsible for building the economy.

Do you want to talk about the low cost university school fees for federal and state schools. Now their school fees is exorbitant.

Or the low cost of food stuffs, where one could survive on #5,000 a month. Now #15,000 for feeding is management.

When my mom was not afraid feeding my brother's friends repeatedly for free. Now in this Buhari regime, my mom once shouted on me like I stole for drinking garri without permission.
Thank you very much! All you have listed above are facts.

The case of Dr Chimaroke Nnamani is the reason why politicians should always try to do their jobs well because the people hardly forget. Even when his political enemies tried to send him into oblivion, the people remembered his good works at ESUT, Parklane, Ebeano housing etc plus the many people he empowered economically.

Do your jobs well and let the people be the judge!
Family › Re: Help I Am A Cultist by Jman06(m): 10:03pm On Jan 30, 2019
A cult group is supposed to be a social group where members can come together and relate with one another. Members are supposed to have each other's backs and solve individual problems collectively.

But all the cult leaders in Nigeria know these days is how to collect dues and fight unnecessary wars. Someone who is in cult should not feel lonely! There should be jollies and gyrations to spice up life. Members should be guided into becoming real men and responsible members of the society.
Cultism can be harnessed to the advantage of members and the society generally if cult leaders learn to do the right thing.
