The problem is very simple to settle,but it would have been good to have supplied some more detailed information . are you born again?  Did you inform your pastor? What did he say?. Why I'm asking this is that your pastor has been anointed by God over you, to perfect you. Going to him is a form of submission to his anointing and authority. I would want to know how you prayed .How did you pray? . If you have said "dear lord tame this oppression away" I bet you it won't work.  I have dealt with issues like this several times. If you are born again You have enough ability to end this opppresion. You talk to it and not to God. But before I tell you how to pray, let me know if your are born again, if you have a pastor , what did he say about it?  I would have loved to know if you've received the holyghost too. There is still one faith. People may have different revelations od God. We may have disagreement based on this, but different revelations and knowledge doesn't mean there is different faith. Paul and James had differences in understsnding and doctrines but it's still one Jesus .

The serpernt is a symbol of wisdom, health ,sin, and the devil.

Symbol of sin
The serpent also symbolise Sin. When the people of God sinned against God , they were attacked by poisnous fiery serpents and many died. Until God instructed Moses to mold a brassen serpent and hung it on a tree , though many says it symbolise christ but the truth is it symbolised Sin nailed on the cross. Jesus became sin. So the focus was sin and not Jesus .

Symbol of health
Serpent is used universally for logo among health workers. Which also had it's link to the biblical story of the brazen serpent.

The serpent really stands out among animals. In the new earth , the curses upon our earth and man and animals will be removed. It's worthy to know that the only animal that will not be redeemed is THE SERPENT.The curse will follow it to the new earth.

If your claim is true, it's not a big deal. People are free to join any church, after all some of them must have left a church to join christ embassy. If you can't take hard food , go for cerelac. Nothing is wrong with hard food , it's just that you can't take it yet. Remember that a lot of disciples left jesus too saying his teaching was too hard.

Pastor chris use the name of jesus. Using the name does not necessary means you must keep shouting the name.Get the tape, POWER IN THE NAME by pastor chris . Play any of pastor chris crusades he says "be healed in Jesus name" "come out of their body in Jesus name".  But in the healing school, he just touch, or say "be healed "or "out of him" sometimes he may say in the name if Jesus , sometimes not. He already see himself in the name. It is not a law to be shouting the name every time. If you recognise your union with Jesus by the anointing. Jesus in me is touching people.

The early apostle didn't shout the name in every case. Because they recognise they dwell in his name already. When Peter use his shadow to heal did he call any name? When apron was brought from paul's body to heal the sick. Did he shout any name?

Acts 5:15
15 Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid[ them] on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them. .

Paul healed several time without calling Jesus name

The minister also require faith, to heal . The healing  anointing varies in different people. But it can increase by your faithfulness. If the healing anointing is not in operation, the minister will heal by faith. If your faith is not strong enough, you may not get the result.

I make good money and use it for the gospel. I give scholarship to students, give bibles , and other Christian materials. Apart from sponsoring tv, ministry and others arms. In the first place pastor  Chris doesn't want any defence, he recognise that small  men criticize others. That's why he won't even give attention to critics . So i don't take pride in defending him or the church. I remember in SA Randburg some members left the church in droves and Ken Oyakhilome came down from USA to try to calm the situation and said that" Those members who left would amount to nothing because you cant leave Christ Embassy and be Something in this life for all the blessing of God at Christ Embassy"

That must be a lie, he couldn't have said that. Or rather you quoted him off context. A pastor can't curse people from leaving a church. If any word was spoken negatively, they must have done something terribly wrong. Paul made pronouncements on some people. But not because they left. If a false brethren leaves , the pastor should rather be happy. The sheep are safe. The wolf is gone.

I got excited when that was said! But later I realised this is BS. Also at CE they refer to "US" and "THEM". That is why when you leave CE people that are still inside the church cut all ties with you. Becasue they are read this scripture: 1 John 2:19 They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us.

That may be true for some terrible people , it's scriptural.  The bible says not to eat with such or even bid him good speed.  But some people may avoid negative people not by pastors recommendation but not wanting to be contaminated.

Look I was a member of the church for 5 good years. Everything that I am telling you is true. Members are manipulated but whilst you are still controlled everything I am telling you wont make sense. It never made sense when my parents would question me about the church. we were told that if your family does not support you in the things of God you got to let them go!

That's not manipulation , it's scriptural. Two can't walk together except they agree. You vant allow your life to be influenced by, unspiritual people.

I almost cut my parents out of my life because they questiones me about the church. Please be advised that my father is a pastor at Assemblies of God, and I had a spirit that I know I got from CE that made me think I knew so much, I was right in everything I said, thought and did when it came to defending the church. We were told that we were world changers, we were going to change the way christianity has always been. I thought wait a minute. Thwe gospel does not change!!!! why must I change it. What I realised was YES the gospel they teach is exciting, fresh, new but is it what God wanted us to know about the gospel. It is the same reason they do not preach REPENTANCE! because we are told to CLAIM righteousness. Meanwhile we were never righteous.

It was you that wasn't righteous, righteousness is our nature in christ. If you recognise this , sin will have no dominion over you. You have the ability to do right.

Why is it that CE does not invite people from other churches to preach at CE, ask yourself?. Why dont they ever invite other Pastors,

If they have something to offer , why not? You don't just invite people. How many minister does deeper life church invite?  It is not socialisation my dear. Few people have been invited in time past. Idahosa, his wife, apostle gbenga etc. Of late. We had an america evangelist Mike Babbs , also david chalumba, another american who has a big ministry in zimbabwe Tom Deusche or so. And some others  that dont speak english , ive forgotten his name. He uses interpreter.

why is it that you are NOT allowed to read other materials by other ministers of God, Why is that you are told to STOCK on Chris material ONLY.

Why is it that CHRIS, HIS WIFE, HIS BROTHER , BROTHER'S WIFE, HIS COUSIN, BEST FRIENDS are pastors in that church.  - !

You lie again. Can you quote any tape where such was taught? We follow our pastor according to truth by the word, but not trying to twist our voices like him.  My voice does not sound like his neither my accent . It is a scriptural thing to follow your spiritual head. Ofcourse naturally we can't deny the fact that we may sound alike on occasions , but it's just influence. If you hear a deeper life pastor preaching you should know without introduction, if a Pastor under Adefarasin( house on the rock ) preaches he may sound alike but it's not by learning, it's a natural influence. But nobody ever said . You should sound like pastor chris, you have a personality. Besides pastor christ didn't make himself an icon in speech, he has often said he wish he could shout like some other preachers who have big voices.  

That is why members at CE like to say "Pastor Chris says

That's no big deal. I just quoted some pastor chris says too. No be force. Na me get my mouth. Where Jesus talk, we say Jesus says, where Paul talk we say Paul says, where James talk we say James says. And where pastor chris talk we say pastor chris says.

I had friends back in University who were staunch CE members so all your gist is very familiar to me.

Even at that time, I was in a similar church BUT CE still looked like a cult to me. For that reason I HAVE NEVER stepped into a CE church and I wont.

Much as we are expecting the coming of our Lord Jesus, I still refuse to accept any date for his coming. I stick to what Jesus told us in the bible, no man knows the day or the hour when the son of man will come. The best thing is for us to be ready for it at anytime. If it is disaster or sudden destruction or something else happening on the october date, i do not doubt it but not the rapture. The bible stands. God keep us rapturable in Jesus name. AMEN.

The rapture is not supposed to take chridtians unawares We are supposed to know the season of his coming. But definately it's not this year nor next. There are signs of his coming

They were schedulled to be ministered to alongdide other people.but the man was impatient feeling the wife would give up because of the deteriorating condition . You could see ushers pulling him away. If it had been scripted, the cameramen would have been ready to catch him when he was dragging her to stage . He took everybody by surprise , because they were scheduled to be prayed for, they were even interviewed.

Yes a healing is a miracle, but for a scar yo disappear is not a healing . It a miracle that is required . We have different kinds of miracle. There is creative miracles, by which body parts are replaced.

Process is involved with healing.  Healing miracles may include natural healing and medical healing. God heals through all.  A real doctor does not deny a miracle.
