Jesus summarised His work on earth in those verses which is deliveraance, freedom, restoration, health, wealth, joy, peace, righteousness and abundance. This I see as true prosperity.

Is there any preacher that will encourage people to go after material wealth at the expense of spirutuality . It is simple comin sense for us to understand that the first responsibility of ministry is the spiritual well being of a man. The financial and material ones is a manifestation . But here you are you give impression God wants us poor and against physical prosperity . Yet your are quoting paul telling the RICH brethren not to be high minded. Why didn't Paul ask Timothy to excommunicate the rich brethren . For having money?

The gospel is about prosperity spirituality and physically .

The wrong gospel is the gospel of poverty.

The bible didnt say earth is flat. Can you quote the passage the reference I saw was only about four corners of the earth. That doesn't suggest flatness. It only makes reference to. The cardinal compass points of the esrth. East ,west ,north and south.

Have you ever wondered why many Christians serve God and are still poor or broke? Hmmmmmmmm. If you're a Christian and yet still poor or broke, this is a word from heaven for you. It is very clear from NT scriptures that God doesn't want us poor. One of the things Christ sacrificed was for us to be made rich (2 Corinthians 8:9). One of the groups Christ was anointed to preach to are the poor (Luke 4:18).

There're two kinds of power as described in scriptures.

1. Power as it is in Deuteronomy 8:18
2. Power as it is in Acts 1:8.

Many church folk thinks when they receive power as in Acts 1:8, they speak in tongues and witness unto the Lord etc they automatically will have wealth. NO! You can receive power as in Acts 1:8, speak in tongues, witness unto the Lord and still be poor or broke. It doesn't mean you ain't gonna pay your bills. Permit me to say, spirituality is not to cover up for reality. Christianity is not an allusion to reality. Christianity is more than speaking in tongues, shouting, jumping etc without getting results. You can go to worship places on Sunday, shout, praise, sing, speak in tongues and witness etc, the reality is that you still got bills and expenses to take care of.

Now, what power is God talking about in Deuteronomy that doesn't equal the power in Acts. The power in Deuteronomy is from the Hebrew word Koach that conveys a meaning to be wisdom, understanding, skill, bodily strength, knowledge, insight, ideas and opportunities.

The power in Acts 1:8 is the Greek word dynamis that conveys its meaning as inherent power, power residing in a thing by virtue of its nature, or which a person or thing exerts and puts forth. This type of power doesn't convey the container or carrier but the power that resides within.

There is a difference between both power. God wasn't talking about power as it is in Acts 1:8 in Deuteronomy because Jesus had not come and be glorified yet for the Holy Spirit to give the power as it is in Acts 1:8, dynamis. So, when God speaks of power to get wealth to you - He speaks of skills, ideas, knowledge, insight, opportunities that will birth you wealth. It has nothing to do with speaking in tongues. Do you serve God and still live poor and can't pay your bills and expenses?

Look around you and stop waiting on God but see God in every opportunities, in ideas, insight, skills etc. God doesn't send the Holy Spirit to rain down money on you - He gives you insights, ideas, knowledge, opportunities etc that will eventually give you money or wealth. Somebody had an idea years back and that idea was to connect people globally via facebook. Today, we speak of him as a wealthy person. Somebody saw the needs in the society, and turned it into an opportunity, today we speak of them as wealthy people. Somebody came up with an insight to put sandwiches together, today we speak of Subway as a wealthy person. It's not enough to have faith, your faith must follow up with a corresponding action. There's opportunity all around you as I speak to you. Don't neglect that idea you had in the past. Don't neglect that opportunity, that insight, that skills. Think and let God's wealth be transfered to you!

There balance in the bible. You don't work as though it all depends on work ,and you don't pray and abandon work. The word of God frowns at laziness . At the same time you must believe in the grace and blessing of God. Much labour without the blessing or grace will result into penury. You must honor God and source. Of ideas ,contacts ,networking you and the blessing of wisdom. If a man doesn't recognize the work of the holygjost in his life he will struggle. I've seen some christian labour hard without much coming in. Dissaapointment here and there .

I don't know if I get the op right. But I have this to say . The power is in the revelation of who Jesus is. Not rhe pronouciation of the name or spelling. Several people do bear the name JESUS and it is pronounced differently by the races.

It's your understanding of this particular Jesus by revelation knowledge that counts. This particular Jesus , his name has been confered with power. So if a man calls on the name with the understanding of this particular Jesus .

Don't miss the point there. It's the principle you should look at. God has pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. it applies to any servant of his. What God is against is trust (false security) in riches and he also frowns at greedy men who can't share what they have.

There is tongue of men which is human language and there's tongues if angels which is not human language .

The tongues of men is a manifestation of diversity of tongues. Which is a supernatural ability to speak an earthly language you haven't learned. But when you pray In tongues of angels it's a spiritual communication to God. In the realm of the spirit. It doesn't have to be mans language. . It doesn't matter how it sounds , it can even come as a groan ! Deep sigh.

All these ones you people speak now sounds more like ritualists incantations. And its almost the same incantation from brother A to sister B to pastor C. The language of the spirit is clear, distinct and sweet. it comes with humility. its not used for showmanship like the way the so called speaking in tongues is being displayed in most churches, gospel music album and sermons.

There is difference between speak with tongues ,praying in tongues and the gift of diversity of tongues. Once you miss the foundation. Every thing else you build will be wrong.

Speaking with tongue is to people , praying In tongues is to God and and the gift of diversity of tongues is not for everybody but the ability to pray in tongues is for every christian. I will explain later

The power that Jesus refers to here is inherent power; power that reproduces or revives itself. When you pray in tongues, the same glory that the apostles experienced in the Upper Room on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:2-4) can come on you, and you can maintain that glow consistently every day. When you feel weak from within, speak in other tongues, and revive yourself. Jude 1:20 says,

"But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost."

The solution you require is inside you. The Bible says,

" . . . But we have this treasure in earthen vessels…" 2 Corinthians 4:7.

When you have tough choices and decisions to make, spend time to speak in tongues first! When it looks as though you don’t know what to do, or how to handle the challenges that are coming at you, set yourself to pray fervently in the Spirit! You’ll be stirred and set in the flow of the Spirit to receive direction as to what to do, and how to do it.

I see miracles of healing and others almost daily. Christianity without miracles is like anydead religion

No you're the one giving different interpretation here. The woman was married and divorced 5 times. And now she was only cohabiting without legal marriage.

(2), so her saying "I have no husband" was incorrect

From the above scriptures, verse 5 says the Levites have COMMANDMENT to RECEIVE TITHE. Verse 18 says, there is an ANNULMENT of the previous COMMANDMENT.

Here is my question: Will the COMMANDMENT THAT IS ANNULLED (or SET ASIDE, CANCELLATION and ABROGATED) in verse 18 ALSO INCLUDE the COMMANDMENT to RECEIVE TITHE in verse 5 OR NOT

I'm not asking two questions anymore. This one will do. Since you said you MAY or MAY NOT answer my questions. But let me know if you're not going to answer by simply responding by telling me you are NOT answering.

Why do we have to go over and over on this subject

Tithe principle as other principles in God pre existed levitical priesthood. It's only the priesthood of LEVI that was nullified . It has nothing to do with existence of tithies , prayers , offerings, worship , and othe principles which pre existed it.
