Lol use points my friend. No be fight. You got it wrongly with your logic. You think by posting such here Agu will check ur post here and change his mind about Ejide? I’ve challenged u again. Bookmark this. If I’m wrong I will give in and grow up. But if u are wrong will u grow up in your reasoning and give in? That’s the point. Fair isn’t it? forgiveness: Austin Ejide is desperate to go to the world Cup. Finito.
All you are saying up there na to save face.
My aim is to blow alarm for such not to happen. So, if it doesn't happen, it is a good tactics but if not, I go still blow alarm.
My friend, you need to grow. Finito
What is Agu's conspiracy? It seems you just want to talk but before you do that, think and get your facts right. |

That's what the caption says -- "desperate". But who is not working hard to go the the world cup? Don't the man need to pay his bills as well? He would have still tried to secure a club anyway, world cup or not. Like I've said if he gets a call up, then your position is reinforced. If not, will you drop your claims? bookmark this Modified The growth is in your position held as regards Agu conspiracy.. please take note forgiveness: Desperate' Austin Ejide wants to represent Eagles in Russia -
WORLD CUP 2018 By: Uche Duru | 26/12/2017
Hapoel Hadera goalkeeper, Austin Ejide has said he will work hard and do his best so as to secure a spot in the Super Eagles team that are gearing up for the 2018 World Cup in Russia. Ejide 33, last played for the Super Eagles in 2014 in a friendly match between Nigeria and Scotland. Despite playing for in Israel’s second tier, Ejide is sheer hopeful of securing a place in the Super Eagles team heading to Russia next year.
“The World Cup? I’ll try my very best until the end of the season,” Ejide told TheCable. “But we’ll just have to wait and see. I’ll give my all, but it’s up to the Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr.” Ejide has been named in three FIFA World Cup squads; 2002 in Japan and South Korea, 2010 in South Africa and 2014 in Brazil.

haha Ejide that had not retired officially, "dewperately" searched for a club.. okay oh.. let's wait and see.. bookmark this page, and I hope you experience some growth if your calculation fails. forgiveness: I don't think Oliseh dropped the idea because he realised he is from Benin Republic, it was Ligali who refused to play for Nigeria 'THEN' because he thought he could play for France.
As you have rightly said he is Ajase guy from Benin Republic but all Ajase can trace their root from Nigeria and this makes him eligible to play for Nigeria.
I agree that the likes of Edward Onaiwu and Maduka Okoye are for the future but I wouldn't mind if we invite Maduka Okoye to the team just to familarize with the team and feel at home.
As soon as I saw how Ejide desperately searched for a club then I knew something was fishy.
Let us watch out for Alloy Agu and his dirty pranks. |

How old is Onaiwu? And if he gets a call up then your case will be reinforced. And if not, will you discard...? How about the national coaches appointment? I didn't hear a word from you in that regard.. you know what I'm talking about. forgiveness: Edward Onaiwu is not yet mature for the Super Eagles. He is still in an academy.
And if Ejide gets a call-up? |

Ligali is eligible to play for the three countries I think --- France, Nigeria, and Benin Republic (country of birth) Robin Udegbe should also get a look in. These are not necessarily great keepers, but they will provide us more options and competition. Aiyenugba is the most active goalkeeper we have in Europe atm, although his current stats is nothing to write home about. Komekn , how about Edward Onaiwu ? Modified And Ejide will not get a call up.. You will only see what you want to see. forgiveness: Eagles boss Oliseh in talks with Ikeme and Ligali
Ligali is born in France to Nigeria parents and he was in goal for France at the 2011 Under-20 World cup in Colombia.
His parents are Nigerians. |

Doesn't change what I was saying. I didn't assume they were saying those were the only players. Icon4s: The heading says "players who should be part of....". It didn't day say "these are the only players....".
Of course due to the poor performance of the last U17, the best bet is to start-off with the home based players. But the foreign based/foreign born players should also be approached for them to know they are also part of the process.
We start camping with the home based and if any of the foreign players are available and good enough to make the team we line them for the qualifiers. |

Okay sir.. My issue with you is you expect people to defend you.. This is just a forum. Your expectation here is really high.. maybe because you named the thread.. You see the people here as a family.. that's a fine thing.. but how many of us here have you met... Even the man who built this successful site, don't have high such expectation of it's use, so long as he smiles to the bank. Someone very close to me (I won't say who, because I hardly reveal any details about myself online) who happens to know this man always tells me something about him.. He comes to the bank (where she works) with slippers. Even if he had a moniker and came to this thread, no one would even know he is that important. Guys lets just have fun. If you abuse my papa or mama, good for you because that the farthest your wisdom can carry you. TheSuperNerd: Please don't use the adulthood card to evade something that is so obvious. It is not childish pointing out a wrong and it is also not whining. If you choose to call it that, that is your problem, not mine. So if you won't feel bad when someone calls out or insults your mom, then fine, you are Mr strong. But it is dirty and wrong to do so especially on this thread known for not involving our parents in insults until just last year.... and now it has repeated itself twice this year. It is a wonder how you can comfortably call that whining and being soft.
Anyway... it is your thought. For me, It is not right and I even called out the latest culprit on it and I know he listened. Case closed on that one.
Now let's talk more football because I will not appreciate another mention or quote on this issue since some here don't mind at all that parents are being insulted and then expect us to stomach it without correcting or addressing it. Our actions now lay down the marker for rules of engagement in discussions tomorrow. Enough said. No more on this please. Thank you. |

I think the list is premature. Based on our practice in the past, most of the preparation/qualifiers will be executed by home based players for obvious reasons. OGN of course needs to put out some news. No doubt we can be confident that we will qualify, and we can debate on the list for the 2019 U20 world cup now if we want to. As regards the thread, I will always give my support/presence whenever it's created. TheSuperNerd: Boss Joseph1013, Sir Terzurum5, Sir Orkpekyandega, Chief Icon4s.... all other monikers and protocols duly recognised.
I think with the appointment of our youth and cadet team coaches, we need to create new threads for them to follow up on news about them separately from the Super Eagles. This has always been the trend... what do you suggest? Normally it is Joseph1013 who handles and creates all threads on our under age sides.... so what do you guys think? I am dropping this here because none ahead of the 2019 Tournaments have been created just yet.

Thank you boss!!! you really exposed him by going back memory lane.. hats off to you Kog45: Sunday Olishe i knew had egoism issue, very arrogant, hghly temperamental and can go haywire anytime.
Sunday Olishe disciplinary record not too good,i remember he was suspended by his Club Bochum in Bundesliga for headbutt his teammate.
He had serious issue with Samson Siasia during training prior to Italy match and Siasia was axed from starting lineup but this led to a divide house cos some players were not happy with Westerhoff's decision for axing Siasia and left Olishe free.
This really affected the team spirits and contributed to our ouster in 2nd round cos Westerhoff refused to bring Siasia in after Amokachie got injured due to that incident.
He had issue with one of his teammate, may be Victor Okechukwu Agali during 2002 afcon, they needed to be separated by teammates.
Also had issue with honourable sports minister by walking the man out during afcon 2002,this singular act led to the disbandment of the team and was the genesis of our poor outing at 2002 WC.
He also had issue with former Eagles captain Vincent Enyeama forcing him to retire from the team and Emma Emenike too resigned from the team with speculations that he had issue with Olishe. |

Dutch club Fortuna Sittard suspends former Nigeria coach Sunday Olisehhttps://ichef.bbci.co.uk/onesport/cps/800/cpsprodpb/F783/production/_94936336_gettyimages-630798652.jpgNetherlands' second tier side Fortuna Sittard have suspended former Nigeria coach Sunday Oliseh for what it calls "unacceptable actions". The club statement said that he has been put on "non-active" duties, stopping short of saying he has been sacked. "Several attempts by the club to encourage a change in the coach's behaviour have unfortunately not worked, resulting in an unworkable situation," the statement said. "The board of Fortuna Sittard emphasizes that the decision to suspend Sunday Oliseh is not motivated by the current sporting performance." "The coach's unacceptable actions have made cooperation between many people within the organization impossible - from players to employees. "Fortuna Sittard regrets the decision, but states that the club interest goes above all else." Oliseh was appointed as Sittard coach in late December 2016. Sittard finished 17th in the 20-team league at the end of last season but are currently third in the table and are five points behind leader NEC. With eight wins and just one loss earlier this season the club actually won what is called the "second period" of the league, which is made up of four periods. The club play in the Eerste Divisie, which is the professional league below the Eredivisie, Holland's topflight, and it consists of 20 clubs. The Eerste Divisie champions gain automatic promotion to the Eredivisie, while eight clubs made up of the period champions and the other best-ranked teams, will compete in play-offs for two further promotion places. --BBC |

We are grown folks I assume.. if someone resorts to abusing my parents from football arguments, I see it as weakness on the person’s part. I will actually find it funny. Personally, I don’t get hurt by that.. “your papa” “your mama” — that’s what’s kids do. It doesn’t carry any weight. It’s childush to abuse one’s parent as well as to be so hurt when someone abuses ur parent. I wonder why u guys keep whining over this for days. We are adults. Are we this soft? TheSuperNerd: When I was making the same case it seems no one listened. Ehen we fail as a house to condemn outrightly an insult or misdirected rant to one's parent(s) then we only open the window for more of such to occur. It is that simple.
Someone here says we are only here to talk football and not sort out disputes and call people to order... looolll... but same person says he stands against insults and foul language and will speak against it. If we are only here to talk football without also taking a stand against people's parents being dragged into discussions and arguments then I wonder what sort of example we are setting for future engagements.
It is well... this is what some sanctimonious folks wanna reduce the thread to by their hypocritical inactions and consistent refusal to speak against people's parents being dragged in or insulted.
Anyway, My eyes on discussing the beautiful game. Anyone who wanna insult someone's parent sublty or openly can plss do so okay. And those who see this nonsense and won't say a word to correct it should also carry on. It happened to with my mom twice on this thread (last year and just several days ago) and now it is someone's father being dragged in.
This is beautiful. When the right thing is not done, this is what you will get. Shalom |

I think you are taking NL too seriously. TheSuperNerd: Sir TheGoodJoe, My honorable Sir, the past is past but elements of it still shapes the future and the present....
I had to mention it because it seems Mujtahida forgets that the hammer of truth is more powerful than the silly hammers of Anti-truth on the matter of our young players. How many times have I been hit back at on this thread yet I still stand tall...
He said they will hit back as if he doesn't know they have been doing it for how long now yet it has no single effect... it has all failed. All hits were as lame as the hammers they wielded. Truth is always stronger.
The only time things went out of line was when someone cowardly called out my Mom... Something even Egbon Forgiveness will never do no matter how deeply engrossed in arguments with you he is. And I recall telling some who came to meet me on my other little thread that I know certain monikers smiled when that happened...
Lo and behold, a moment just had to come... a moment to vindicate my statement made out of certain observation... and Goldfish80 exposed himself as one of those monikers... he cannot hide it anymore. That is just who he is.
It takes a mind that is deeply psychological to knock off the walls of pretense some monikers wear here... That is what happened to Goldfish.
So in the end... I am just a deeply passionate and nerdy guy who loves Nigerian football and does so without any ulterior motives or hate towards/bias against any one player in the green and white. I love and have followed Nigerian football from different angles and I have studied the generations of the team......
When I walked into NL Sports in 2015 after SL10.ng closed down, I didnt know my moniker was already noticed there and followed here by a few... I came in here with a song on the possible rise of another grand golden generation and in every such generation there are major players and Star acts key to the exploits and growth of that generation... and this is what I am out to protect in letters and words... we cannot be having people come here and get battered by the strong wind of half-truths and heavy pessimism and then expect not to have a war to ensure that truth gets out there and is not swallowed by the negative atmosphere.
We have what I call subtle enemies of Nigerian football here who we must contend with to ensure that our message on Nigerian football is not choked up or killed away.
When a lie is repeated times without number, it will become truth to many soon. Hitler did this and it worked.
When nonsense is being uttered and no one can challenge that because they want to have peace... I wonder what kind of peace they are after while the truth suffers to have a voice bearer.
I am here to propagate the Good news of Nigerian football and to show that indeed a new golden generation is rising and we must keep fanning that flame with positive views and not predominant negative views taking the so called disguise called "Constructive criticism".
This is what the clashes on this thread is mainly about... nothing more. Every other thing said is just a cover -up.
So the past will stay buried but its lessons still have impact for today. It is well. |
