obadiah777: BILLIONthank u o jare, was abt correcting the poster too |
If the Government wasnt corrupt, i would've suggested some churches start paying tax. they occupy vast lands and have so many bizness interest tax free. Imagine how much the government will rake into its coffers. at least if the churches cant contribute to charity, they could do so through paying taxes that will be used to better the country. |
FG and its misplaced priorities. whatever happened to privatization ![]() ![]() ?? |
the whole thing about marriage is complicated, the more we know the less its working out. sometimes i wonder, our parents didnt know half of what we know now didnt date as much as we do now didnt attend any marriage courses, yet it all worked out better for them than it is working now. i think we all need to work on our tolerance, that's the only ingredient that can make marriage work IMO. |
i tire for naija o, which one be halloween again na? |
these days its hard to know people of good character, most of us are just a bunch of pretenders especially when we know marriage is in question. I go for tolerance. |
acidtalk: Who am I to believe?well isnt that Naija for you. sometimes i wonder why we hand these kinda jobs to criminals and expect a good outcome for our dear country. Ribadu is one of the biggest scam in Naija's history, so inconsistent and during his tenure as EFCC chair was so arrogant and served justice selectively. Non of the celebrated criminal cases under his watch ended in conviction, Dariye is now a senator for plateau state, Fayose was never arrested nor tried and a whole lot same case as "poor man steal kuli kuli dem go convict am. rich man use him pen steal ribadu go clap for am" so embarasing he became a pawn on tinubu's chess board, same man he accused of being the biggest criminal for me, i dont find his report credible cos i'll always question the content of his character |

funny enof i still go back to watch the damn league. same thing happened last season, chelsea was 3 goals up b4 the ref decided to dash man u 2 penalties to ensure at least a draw. even if its ok tha man u cheats, why is it always against chelsea. i miss morinho die, by now he woulda sent a good number of refs to the gallows. this rdm needs to step up in his press interactions and criticism joor |
The best moments of life are always in the past. U really dont cherish it when it is ongoing. until someday u look back and say, oh, those days were sweet. savor every moment in the end, u'll look back and be happy u did. |
topic is confusing. is seun a celebrity? |
interesting! The north is out there waiting to share the spoils of this bickering. why we cant even move on in this country is not because of corruption, its because of nepotism. it is surprising to see how it is rooted even amongst the oldest of folks, so called nationalists. it is sad that the 2 most educated and civilized ethnic groups in the country can not live together in peace. let the cold war continue but ask your damn selves who'll benefit in the long run |
@op the best first lady we ever had was justice Fati Abubakar. for 1 she didnt even occupy the office, she was still discharging her duties as a justice, went to court and all. neva started any pet project that lasts as long as the husband's tenure. she is the most educated of them all and was neva into trying to be known. i admired her quietness and indifference. |
God is no longer answering Nigerians prayers, if only u knew how many peeps secretly prayed u neva returned |
The bomb actually exploded in the process of trying to defuse it. I think the state leadership is trying in terms providing security, at least the bomb was found before it exploded. The problem is the governor talks too much, just last week he was giving kudos to himself for driving out boko haram out of the state. This could be a response from the sect, telling him (Aliyu) that his state is not immune to attacks |
olivertwist: If the ECA had been projected to grow by $2 billion between October-December, 2012 then, what is the essence of deregulation if govt will still be saddled with the responsibility of building refineries. i thought the whole sh1t is to attract private sector participation. |
Its sad that issues such as these are raised with relevant data been kept away from public glare. the questions that have never been answered puts this subsidy removal sham to a big question mark. Just how much on the average is been consumed in the country per day. what capacity does the inept refineries refine per day. where does this locally refined petrol go to. are we strictly importing to augment for what is refined locally or we are just importing for the sake of it. what measures have we taken to stop smugglers of these products to neighboring countries? we ought to know all these relevant details, that is when we'll know whether we are even supposed to be importing in the 1st place. |
she's so african. she'll go places |
The unfortunate death of these students just goes to show the pitiable state of our universities. If these schools had decent and enough accommodation, students wont be staying off k to fall into these kinda situations. I pray the security operatives fish out the perpetrators of this heinous crime. |
looks like a lot of us didnt read that statement well o, he's still castigating the acts of Oyedepo by comparing him to a pastor who carries bags of rice on his shoulders. and spreads out money earned to charity. IMO, Mac is sticking to his guns. 4get the final statement, sounds like a mockery having read the initial statements. |
solution is simple, just make sure u wash ur face with soap and water ten times a day and clean dry with a towel each time. Celebrities have pimples too o! most of them hide it in foundations or is it background they call it? |
funny enuf, when the disciples first spake in tongue, people from other tongues could understand what they were saying. they merely spoke other tribe's tongue but these days, nobody is able to interpret what these tongue speakers say. the language they speak corresponds to no language on planet earth |
lol, wife was busy contesting elections in just how many months of husband's death. whatever happened to mourning. |
read this piece from the word for today, although @op seem to be a muslim, i think its a piece that is general to our daily lives. Hope it helps. How's Your Communication? 07 Oct 2012 'Husbands, love your wives.' Ephesians 5:25 One of the biggest challenges in marriage is communication. Here's an example: in the past husbands went to work and wives stayed home to raise the children. Now, someone has estimated that the average man speaks about twenty-nine thousand words a day and the average woman speaks about thirty-three thousand words a day. That may not be accurate, but let's use it as an illustration. He's been out in the workplace all day and by the time he gets home he's used up twenty-six thousand of his words, leaving only three thousand he feels no need to say. But she's been locked up all day with the dishes, the nappies and the mundane. She has talked to her mother, friends and neighbours and used up about eight thousand words. So when he gets home she has twenty-five thousand words waiting for him. After a silent supper he spends the evening watching TV, then they go to bed. As he's about to fall asleep a voice says, 'Are you awake?' If you are wise, you will be! If not, tomorrow night there will be fifty thousand words lying beside you. Do the math; in ten years there will be enough words to fill the central library. But maybe not; maybe there will be no words. A frequent reason given in divorce is: 'We just got to where we had nothing to say to one another anymore.' The Bible says, 'Husbands, love your wives.' Love listens when we have nothing particularly interesting to say. It listens because only when we have been heard and validated, do we feel cherished. So, 'How's your communication?' |
maybe Achebe i s re writing bitter history. of a truth, I was not yet born when that war was fought but i have tried to read any material i come across regarding that war. i must confess it was the most unprepared war ever engaged by humans in modern history. u dont go to war trying to play on emotions of the other side, war is brutal and costly. did the ibos have enough weapons to cause brutality or stop it? NO! did the ibos have enough financial backbone to go into war the fg of nigeria? NO! having lacked all these, did they negotiate with other world super powers for aid/help b4 starting a war? NO! question is how did they think they were ever gonna win the war, on luck? IMPOSSIBLE! blame it on ojukwu and his ego and his cohorts. |
i used to think he was born bald. ![]() the only difference is there are strands of hair on his head in the old pic. |
IMHO, antiretroviral drugs should be administered like military drugs. 1s u are given, u take it in the presence of the doctors b/4 leaving. there's no point handling these kinda drugs to people to go and take at their own will. its either u take it at the point of issuance or u leave. |
my best time on local TV was in the 90s and the best soaps I watched were the lady of the rose, wild rose and maria de los angeles in that order, nowadays one is too busy with cnn, super sports and the likes. |

the only reason y this story may be true is those guyz are way too hot, rich and famous not to be in any known relationship with any woman |
