PoliticsRe: Workable Suggestions To GEJ On How To End The Boko Haram Menace. by Joey82(m): 12:46pm On Jun 25, 2012
I think like some one mentioned earlier, its very important to monitor our banks.
Boko haram is a pretty rich terrorist group, with the kinda high profile bombings and terror they unleash, its safe to say they got sponsors and no doubt from within.
There must be some bank where moneys are changing hands, accounts of all suspected sponsors should be monitored.
I also think a new minister of defence with military background and respect should be appointed, the defence ministry is way to sensitive to be politicised,
last time i checked, the minister of state for defence was a female politician - surprising.

even though this sambo guy does not look like the best man for the job for now, i think the president may appoint general aliyu gusau as the new minister of defence.
imho, he is far nigeria's most accomplished security operative.
his wealth of experience will be needed at this time

PoliticsRe: GEJ Rejected My Advice To Quiz Buhari - Azazi : Elombah by Joey82(m): 7:01pm On Jun 23, 2012
Mekusnwa: who told you the President has not read the books you Mentioned? Even if he hasn't, he doesnt in any way fit into the dumb robes that you have tailored for him. Mind you, he has a Doctarate degree. And PHD is no mean feat even if it was obtained in Ijaw language. I am sure you may not even have a masters, that is if you re even a graduate yet. Let's learn to respect our leaders. What did he do to warrant all the insults you dished to him in that post. In your thinking, he should demonstrate courage by implementing any and every advice proffered to him. If you were President, you will demonstrate extraordinary courage by quizzing your opponent who coincendentally is a former Head of state, just because your security advicer said so without any concrete evidence in support of such quiz. What a disastrous president that would be!
who is talking about educational qualifications here, non of his predecessors had a phd but in my analysis, they were better leaders compared to gej.
my opinion is if buhari is the problem as the NSA said, he should be invited for questioning, or are we going to let the entire nation perish becos of the deeds of one man?
the earlier mr president starts demonstrating courage, the earlier his so called enemies start rethinking b4 unleashing their mayhe. mr president is way too predictable; the bombs keeps blowing up killing innocent citizens and he keeps claiming to be on top of the situation.
and i did not see anywhere in my post where i insulted mr president. i'm only stating the obvious
PoliticsRe: GEJ Rejected My Advice To Quiz Buhari - Azazi : Elombah by Joey82(m): 5:43pm On Jun 23, 2012
I seriously doubt if GEJ prepared himself for the position he is handling,
ordinary ceos of companies read books like the art of war, 48 laws of power etc, i doubt if he's got any of these books on his shelf.
being a president means u are a soldier, at least the comander in chief of an entire country's armed forces.
i think mr president had better train himself in the art of war and buckle up his mind instead of showing all these softness.
most of us here blaming azazi as if he said anything wrong by calling the president soft.
i remember how yaradua gave orders for these bokites to be executed not even giving a hoot about whose ox was gored and here we have gej calling for negotiation.
on what bases is he going to negotite with criminals who are asking for the impossible.
he should take a cue from obama, he (obama) personally command drone strikes on any suspected terrorists,
enof of all these fear of the unknown.
gej should enter action with boldeness, in the end timidity will only make matters worst!

IslamRe: How Can We Fight Terrorism? by Joey82(m): 2:15pm On Jun 21, 2012
I think the op started a fine thread soliciting for practical solutions and all we've ended up debating so far is the various factions that exist in islam which at all is no solution to our current plight.
I think pdp needs to be seriously questioned.
this may sound absurd to a lot of us but to be honest, i think boko haram is a pdp agenda.
they have bombed churches, police commands, the media, schools, markets etc. the funny thing is they (boko) also pronounce government as a common enemy and this government is run by pdp.
why havnt we asked ourselves why non of pdp facilities is ever touched.
go to locations where these bombings are prevalent, pdp's beautiful state secretariats still stand tall waving their goddamn flags, why are they never touched?
And zaria his state has been managed well is that what you are trying to say or do u want to tell us that he did not see anything wrong in his own state. As i was old by my parents you have to start been good from home before outsiders will notice you.Just accept the fact that el rufai is jobless and he want to be relevant by all means.
well, zaria is not a state, its only an ancient city in Kaduna state.
dont get me wrong, am no fan of el rufai, i only try to correct a comment u made about him only concentrating on southern states.
i'm trying to explain that its not a ethno-political divide as u are trying to paint it.
finally u are permited to also beam ur own search light on his state kaduna.
we'll be glad to read ur findings and learn from them
PoliticsRe: Governor Peter Obi Defend His Goverment Over Nasir El Rufai Accusations by Joey82(m): 4:33pm On Jun 20, 2012
Well main looking at the man El rufai or what he called him self you will notice that he has made himself to be the watch dog of the nation since he became jobless, again look at all his criticism you will noticed that him el rufai never criticised any northan state all he do is to talk about GEJ Govt and Governors out side North. Now my question is which state among the whole nothern states that can be compare with Anambra despite that Government of Nigeria nelected the eastern states still the people of east keep developing their region with their hard working without fedral Government infastructures.Anyway it will be a waste of time for anyone to worry him/her self over el rufai's baseless and bais accusations against GEJ and other regions out side north.
El rufai beamed his search light on four states and that includes benue and bauchi. Last time i checked, these states are in the north.

so why havent the STF invited hon jagaba since lawn claims he handed over the monies to him. or did jagab return the money back to farouk?
why are they trying to trace the moneys in bank accounts when lawan has clearly stated that the money was handed over to hon jagaba?
i'm not a trained investigator but i think i can do better than this so called stf. ish!
PoliticsRe: Police Contact Banks In Search For Lawan’s $620,000 Bribe by Joey82(m): 9:47am On Jun 19, 2012
Kobojunkie: Now I am beginning to doubt there was a 'sting' to begin with.

Why in the world would the Police use MARKED DOLLAR NOTES for a sting, and somehow forget to make sure they can easily TRACE THE NOTES? It has been about 2 months since the 'sting', yet the best our cops have to do is SEARCH BANKS for the missing notes? shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked undecided undecided undecided undecided
abegi, there wasnt any sting jare,
otedola in the first place did not invite police/sss during the videoing (that's if there's any)
he (otedola) was however smart enof to have a record in case things go the wrong way.
once he felt he couldnt pay the 3m dollars farouk was asking, he decided to invite the sss and provided evidence.
if it were a sting, farouk would have been arrested befor leaving the scene of bribe collection.
if it were a sting, the sss wont wait until otedola blows the whistle befroe swinging in to action,
and for the records, there were no marked dollars, if there were, the sss definitely didnt mark it, if they did, they wouldnt be tracing where the dollars have gone to.
btw, at some point i thought farouk said the dollars were with the leadereship of the national assembly.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan's Power Reform Is Positive, working and on track by Joey82(m): 9:34am On Jun 19, 2012
Well, i still maintain that the minister is towing same line has his predecessors, relying soley on gas driven plants and not even having an idea how to go about getting the gas to power his projects. why arent we thinking abt other conservative ways like hydro power. there are several rivers elsewhere that can be dammed to produce energy, river gongola is already dammed at kiri and can produce enof energy to power the entire state and beyond, the benue can also be dammed at katsina ala tributory to produce power for both benue and nasarawa, there's also river hadeja which can be dammed at wudil to provide power for jigawa and some parts of kano and lots more i may not know abt, why arent we thinking towards that direction? driving these plants on gas is way too expensive and isnt conservative.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan's Power Reform Is Positive, working and on track by Joey82(m): 4:25pm On Jun 18, 2012
@op
at your insistence, i read through the entire interview and one thing is quite disturbing. 100% of the new power plants are gonna be run on gas and the minister himself stated that is the problem. There is no road map in place in how we are going to get this gas in commercial qty to power these plants, the minister even confessed that if he had more gas today the mega watts will instantly go up. Question is if we cant get gas to run the existing power plants to produce at full capacity how are we going to get enouf when we get to distributing over 9000mw?
PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Wants All Christians To Convert To Islam by Joey82(m): 2:52pm On Jun 18, 2012
i think i have to go back to study the qur'an, though a christian, i wish to sincerely understand hw extremist muslims are easily deluded and brainswashed by its contents.
so much for the killing in the name of Allah!
so much for if u die fighting a jihad, u go straight to heaven no matter the kinda atrocities u commit while on earth, forgiveness can be this simple?
so much for seven virgins waiting for u at the gate of heaven, polygamy will be encouraged in heaven?
methinks islam is way too complex, am surprised they still say islam is peace.
its the biggest war we have on our hands here on earth.
father Abraham, what did u do?
