freecocoa: You think say na playing the role of housewife go make am propose? I laugh loudly at youif u are doing it all, it should be because u feel the need to help out not because u are enticing him to put a ring on it. and even if someday he or u decides to end the r/ship, u shouldnt feel sad for the reason that he turned u down after all the house chores u did. i'v grown up with ladies who cant afford to see any dirt around. any time my elder sister comes around, she puts the house in order for me and quarrel y i'v not washed the dishes for 2 days, not that i'm dirty but its not easy to come home after a tiring work day and still muster the strength to the chores. if my own sister can help out, y shouldnt my girl friend do that anytime she's around, if her own friends come visiting and see the whole place unkept, will they blame me for been dirty or will blame her for been lazy? |
what's with girls and the house chore question these days? if u cant help out with the chores, dont come to my house. a lady can't be around me and i'll be the one cooking for her, washing plates for her after she eats, washing the bed spread after we'v slept together and to think i'v got to do all these things for her after work? abeg all these girls complaining are heartless. if u employ a house girl, they'll still complain |
funny how nobody is complaining y it made the front page. or how it affects the price of garri, i guess those mamary are causing good confusion, the chief complainers cant even complain |
jakaiso: True Idiagbon was great-but there are many true Nigerian soldiers-some who never held political office:I beg to disagree, joshua dogonyaro did not stop charles taylor and co. victor malu did, |
if abacha had not recorded this we would never know what diya did or did not do. we dont know what other generals in similar circumstances in past have done since there is no recording to reveal their response in a state of vulnerability. abacha was not shocked, in fact he had a box of tissue ready, sitting next to him and it wasn't for himself. i did not see him use it one time! so i wonder if this was a common practice, if he enjoyed getting his officers into a position of weakness and vulnerability so he could secure their undying loyalty. who knows?
I assure u dudu that there crack head soldiers out there who will not even blink not to talk of shedding a tear in such circumstances. i just gave u examples of vatsa and orkar, their body languages and reactions during their trials is a pointer to the fact that they didnt give a damn, they sure knew the consequences of their actions. i think during Diya's time soldiers became too much involved in politics and started thinking of themselves as civilians the core discipline was no longer there and a lot of them were only interested in looting our treasury. |
1. diya was picked for abacha. abacha did not pick to have diya as 2inc. 2. two yoruba rulership were terminated back to back - abiola and shonekan, both from ogun state.....same state diya is from. 3. abacha was the last man standing of his contemporaries in uniform....all the rest of them had either retired or close to retiring and no longer nursed an ambition of coup or ruling. 4. abacha needed to sorround himself with close loyalists from kano or core north so he could rule in peace. particlularly he was suspicious of ibb and abdulsalam. 5. the fact he could not get people he wanted in his sorrounding resulted in his paranoia. he changed his commanders and cabinets frequently and the SSS became an extension and reality of his fears and paranoia. journalists, army officers....people were picked up randomly and tortured to extract any information that would gin up some lead to something....anything! 6. diya played it safe on the bamaiyi plot 7. diya was not charged for plotting a coup, he was charged for not disclosing his knowledge of a coup. 8. abacha set diya up so he could get rid of him 9. he had to also lock the yoruba officers up so he could not be forced into a yoruba replacement as 2inc. if anybody should be on oputa and in front of human rights violation it is abacha, posthumously,....not diya.
@bolded i said it earlier, if u have knowledge of any plot and do not report, u are as good as the plotter, abacha didnt set this rule diya admit to havin knowledge of a plot going on, loyalty demands that he promptly report to his boss y he didnt do that is for one stupid reason he gave i cant even remember now. and that is not the issue here, what we are all complaining is why will a general cry like that over a crime he's guilty of. wasnt he aware of the consequences of having an inside knowledge of the plot? that's a shameful act. look at the like of orkar (just a major) and vatsa, they exactly knew the consequences of their actions and they saw no need wasting tears and begging for sympathy, they knew they'll die anyway and that is what is called galantry. where is diya's galantry, a general at that. |
i think its noticeable in agric produce, aside this sector, i think inflation is actually on the rise |
genbuhari, now that the distractors have gone to find something else to do, can you answer the questions? the whole story has not been told. 1. what was abacha afraid of? 2. did diya plot a coup? 3. what does diya's charges have to do with yoruba top officers that were arrested and locked up?
Abacha has been involved in coups and counter coups right from his days as a junior officer, its only natural (just like IBB) for him to have doubts about his 2IC's ambitions, abacha never trusted anybody and ended up been caught in his paranoia. and diya himself admitted to knowing about the coup even though he said he was not directly involved. the fact that he did not report means he had his own interests. In a typical military setting, the fact that u know of any mutiny and does not report makes u one with the plotters. for the other yporuba officers, adisa himself admitted to been involved, major fadipe was diya's security officer i think and he tried hidng diya when the sss came calling, i dont have any idea of tajudeen olanrewaju's involvement anyway. |
maybe one day Atiku will also show us a video of how OBJ knelt down and begged him (Atiku) for a second term of office. and to say these two (OBJ and Diya were one time generals is an utter disgrace to Nigerian military). the likes of Vatsa were in a more precarious situation compared to Diya's and never begged. The rule is simple; if u plan a coup and u suceed, kudos; if u dont, u are dead. why beg having admitted u did it, u'll die anyway. Lest i 4get, Buhari also cried during one of his campaign speeches. I guess its safe to say Nigerian Military ends up breeding crying/begging generals. shame! shame!! shame!!! |
beyonce had a completely flat nose as a child hw it became all pointed as an adult, i dont know |
I'v always said it, I hate the governors forum, they are the single most united, most influential group that controls the polity they 'appoint' the president at their whims and caprices, they appoint senators, house of rep members, LG chairmen, ministers commissioners and even councilors. they are same peeps that send delegates to presidential primaries and they decide who the delegates vote for. i dont know but i strongly feel in a long time to come, the governors amongst them will rule this country and change power among them. there is hardly any force out there formidable enough to stop them and too bad for GEJ that he entered such an ungodly arrangement with them. |
i dont trust that guy prezzo following speculations that goldie must have died of doping complications, i'm suspecting prezzo to have introduced her to drugs. |
what if u dont even have a partner at all. this valentine matter sef. abeg make una go rob ash. |
i think d banj nailed it with on top of the world. it became my victory song when SE finally lifted the trophy |
abegi, that's the photo of a best man with the chief bridesmaid dont ask me if i attended the wedding... |
looks to me like same picture taken from different directions. |
manny4life: SUPER WRONG.@manny if the benchmark is $72 hw much is the price per barrel in the market, where is the excess going to? |
ifihearam: You must be a child, the revelation was done by this administration and prosecution was made but thanks to the judiciary,Farouk lawan is yet another that must come to a logical conclusion,if the judiciary go by the way of their fore fathers then its their business not his excellency. The GEJ led administration is bent to purge out every corrupt government official irrespective of your status and a clear example is the prosecution of the current Chairman of the PDP. What else do you people and critics want again ,.sorry, is ifeaharam same as tomakint? look who is calling the other child......u be pikin exactly in what way did the govt reveal this corrupt lot to us and u are talking about farouk that is confident of the outcome he even sleeps in court. u have not answered my questions, ok granted even if the govt was responsible for the revelation, how have these corrupt lot been prosecuted? how come a lot of these thieving is still going on under govt watch? |
Gosh!!!! MI is such a core rapper, he does not even know how to be romantic or funny either. if i was an ordinary girl, this line wont move me 1 bit, not to talk of Agbani wey don hear tire. what i really cant fanthom is the contrast in their heights |
ABAKA72: y didn't you do your analysis when Obasanjo was the president, when 16 billion dollers was wasted on power without anything to show for it, baba Iyabo was busy selecting his tugs as Governor eg (Alao Akala)and other public office holders, a PA to the president (Andy Uba) alone amassed over 1trillion naira from Government coffers, when desenting and opposition politicians including Bola Ige were being murdered everywere in the country etc. I didn't see you do your analysis, maybe you were an illitrate then, now suddenly you have gone to school and can now do analysis, or maybe becouse GEJ is not an omo Odua. I don't hold brief for the president but even if his performance has been below your expectations, at least you should acknowladge the ones he has achieved.in essence, are u disputing the analysis as wrong? |
tomakint: The rots in the Police Pension office, oil sector (subsidy scam), Pension office, judiciary are facts that Jonathan's government has revealed to us which other administrations have never gone that deep despite trying to prove that they are fighting corruption (especially Obj's inglorious 8 years)! Are you ok now?haha! i thought u were talking about fighting corruption. now u are basically talking about revelation. it is not enof to reveal, hw well has the govt prosecuted these folks. in case u didnt know, the govt did not reveal anything to us, the advent of info tech really makes information travel faster than the govt can conceal |
tomakint: In as much as I don't believe in party system, in as much as I don't believe in this 'expensive system of government' we are currently practicing, in as much as I don't want any 'funky mallam' to come and take us back to the slavery era again, and in as much as Jonathan's government looks like a free for all (even though he is trying his very best to curb the hydra-headed corruption previous administrations fail to fight to a stand still) I still so much believe in HIS ADMINISTRATION! Sincerely speaking, I am yet to see any past governments that has done so much within this short time (2 years) as Jonathan's@bolded, really? and how is he doing that, can you please elaborate with concrete examples? corruption as far as i know now is such that has never been witnessed in the history of this country. |
curiously, nobody talks about the election in his home state bayelsa when talking about electoral reforms. for me that sham is a true testament to what GEJ is capable of when it comes to election's that he's got personal interests. our analysis on all issues should be all round, even if GEJ is working, we also have to acknowledge he has already failed in other areas. |
just hw mega can this mega party be? for me, i dont vote for parties, i vote for individuals who i feel are worth my vote. i wont be choosing who to vote until i know who the aspirants are |
if the governors forum endorse this ticket, then its done and dusted.... i hate those guys (governors) but they are so powerful, they get what they want its up to jonathan to be able to devide them so he can hold sway |
glen87: sincerely people like you don't know the difference between federal govermnet project and that of state and local govt. GEJ should please charge his National Orientation Agency to enlighten people here and in Naija as a whole so they will know the diferences and not receiving all the blame for the destruction of roads in Lagos under Fashola.people like u make me laugh in spanish..... if u read my post very well, my entire blame was on govt and not entirely on GEJ i even mentioned the lack of presence of state govt infrastructures. having said that, the duty of providing electricity for now belongs to the FG last time i checked, the entire road network here is bad, whether state, federal or local govt. the NOA should start orientating u 1st on how to read with an unbiased mind....ish |
misreal: lets just gve gej a chance. In this part of naija where I stay, i aint seeing no improvement. I'v got to be sincere, the roads are as bad as they were and nobody dey shake body power is as it used to be, epileptic supply of pipe borne water (i cant calculate hw much mai ruwa has taken out of my earnings. and they keep saying the government is working. although i dont entirely blame GEJ since there is also a state govt present here. believe me the previous administration of OBJ did by far better in 100days than this one has done in over 2yrs. |
this is reuben in his glory days, when his articles used to give the common man hope. jona may not be as clueless as we think, at least he made sure reuben left us to join them so his pen's ink will cease 4ever. sometimes i wonder what reuben thinks in his quiet time. its no easy feat to be double faced. |
tunapawizzy: old age is catching up very very very fast on ini edo far from her usual attractive self, uche jombo as ugly as ever, rukky sanda looks like a masquerade, geneveive should pay that cute dude to marry her, chidi mokeme what more can i say always looking goodthat cute dude is unfortunately gay.....tooo bad for genny huh? |
honeric01: And the people are doing nothing about it.what can the people do? most of the masses are also corrupt in their little ways. they just lack the opurtunity since they aint in the corridors of power. hw many ordinary people have had the opurtunity to serve and really came out incorruptible |
where is okupe and maku and abati looks like sincerenigerian has not alerted of the latest |
aduboy: I want to believe that you are not informed well enough on how the army command structure works otherwise the issue of loyality would not come up, are you saying the genarals will stop taking orders from the chief or the soldier will not take orders from his guard commander. There is still discipline in our Army irrespective of the 'military politics' for trust (something more than loyality). The chief as a leader puts his trusted collegues in sensitive positions and their tribes does not influence such positions. Some of us are privilaged to know reasons for such appointments and basically its not ethnicity.I aint saying the generals will stop taking orders from the chief. but there's a possibility the aggrieved ones grudgingly take orders. yes there is still discipline in spite of the politics but where does it stem form; from loyalty and u are well lying if u say tribe does not influence such politics. if there were so much discipline as u claim y are senior officers complaining. in a typical military setting, this is mutiny already |
