Seun:
If the 'rich people' who can pay 250,000 per annum are able to send their children into Covenant University instead of using the money to bribe university decision-makers to admit their children, this will free up space in the federal and state universities for the 'average' people who cannot afford 250,000 per year.  The only way to make the prices go down beyond was they are now is to license so many private universities that price competition will be ignited.

Having said that, wouldn't rather pay 200 - 250,000 per annum to be educated than sit at home for an indefinite period of time or spend 6-7 years on a 4 year course in an under-funded, over-crowded university where you are not able to gain any form of practical experience?
My issue is that a church is making money out of a bad situation. I thought a church was supposed to provide for the masses? But this is definitely not for the masses.

ernie:
Why do people simply assume that girls run after money? It is very funny the way they put it.
They need money like boys do for feeding, clothing, schooling etc .
Well, then get what you want from your parents, or better still work for it. Up until we sign the dotted lines, am not legally obliged to provide for you. Morally, I might provide for you but it aint cast in stone dearie so please and please to avoid any embarassment, dont even go there....aight?

exactly a church university, what happened to charity? what happened to helping the needy? If the English missionaries had placed such a high premium on education, how many of our fore fathers woulda been educated?

Na wah oh!!! education seems to be a right of the rich elites in Nigeria now. What hope is there for the masses? What hope is there for the nation if the majority cannot afford basic education? Cos in this world, university education is now basic.

What do you do when a member of your forum who has been disciplined for uncooperative behaviour initiates an online smear campaign against you?
@ Seun, who is carrying out a campaign against you?
