nony43:I wish that the government will make them build truck parks for their trucks instead of allowing them to liter the streets of Lagos and other communities across the country, thereby constituting a nuisance to the general public. |
Why don't they take one plane from their fleet and hand over to the creditor owed $2.5m, while the rest of the fleet contiue to fly. It is a win-win. The creditor can sell off the aircraft if not compensated within a reasonable time, while the airline continues to operate without any major hindrance to its operation. |
Another pipe dream. Instead of focusing on fixing the existing infrastructure, he keeps coming up with distractions. |
Ekakamba:Why don't he meet the needs of the bigger Nigerian market first, where people are suffering over high cost of fuel before venturing abroad? Fuel goes for almost N1,000 per litre in your home country, but your interest is in meeting the needs of someone over 11,000 kilometers away. Stupid. |
seunmsg:Which Nigerian company fit buy Guinness? Except for Dangote, but that's not his line of business. Others will run it to the ground. The problem with selling it to Tolaram is that the Indians will run it on a shoe string. I feel sorry for the people still working for Guinness Nigeria. |
HeatSeeker:No be today their problems start. They have been suffering through successive Nigerian administrations. I remember when Guinness ran out of money during Buhari's government. They were bailed out by Diageo. Tinunbu own pass. |
APOPTOSIS:Maybe he's setting the stage for a divorce. |
shortgun:Maybe she's good in bedmatics. Abeg, cut the lady a slack. |
Nyanabo2:We pick the best people to lead us...lol. What is wrong with the black man? |
How soon before another funeral? |
matify83:Because they married pretty faces with no brains. The women are just there for the good times. |
adedayoa2:Everything has changed in the last 20 years and this fool is still working on someone else's template. Why did he run for Governorship if all he came to do is answer to another man? |
This is what they call an ass kisser. Sanwo Olu has no mind of his own. Lagos is doomed under his leadership. You're working on someone else's 20 year blue print when the world has changed. |
Chicagograduate:That's the Nigerian woman mentality. They don't respect a man who doesn't have more money than they do. How old is she now? A woman's value to a man as she ages goes like this: at 27 years of age, time to sell; at 30, she's at 50% discount sale; at 35, clearance; at 40, outlet sale, at 50 bend down select. |
stano2:She only smiles and dances for money. She looks down on everyone else. Not the type of girl you take home to mama. |
Brendaniel:Lord have mercy. This is the kind of women we have today. Her primary interest is going to America, not the husband she married, who is now in Nigeria. |
Na over-used "Young Shall Grow" busses Federal Government buy put for road. Una never see anything. |
lavylilly:Well, maybe we should set strict standards and set-up tribunals to prosecute violators of these standards. We could save a lot on costs and foreign exchange, as well as create more jobs for our people if this work is done by us. The oyibo or Chinese man doing this job is probably laughing to the bank. How stupid can a people be, he would say to himself. We've been importing foreigners to build our roads since independence and we've never been able to transition to doing it ourselves. Why bother having an engineering department in our schools when the graduates never practice what they learn. I live abroad and see how this job is done by the locals. Every city or town has a department of works that handles road construction and repairs. They are overseen by the State department of transportation, which in turn reports to the department of transportation on the Federal level. The federal government sets the standards and the states and local governments follow. |
And we still import them. |
He has too much time on his hands. |
This is very commendable, but my only concern is that Nigerians are getting poorer due to the sharp decline in the value of the Naira. Who will buy the cars? Perhaps they can be exported to neighboring African countries. |
Only three or four players are still alive from the England squad of 1966. That's just life. We're only here for a finite time. Adios Bobby. |
Deport him back to his homeland. I bet he can't pull that off there. |
Why take a job you can't do. If you don't know what to do, please do the country a favor and resign. It's your job to find solutions to the myriad of problems facing the country and not go around begging for donations from NGOs. Who runs a country like that. |
Why must they close the entire bridge for six months when it would take the contractors three months to import the materials needed? Why can't they wait until the materials are available and ready before closing off parts of the bridge? Secondly, why can't they close-off one or two lanes on each side, assuming there are three lanes on each side so that some traffic can be maintained while the work is being done and commuters are not severely inconvenienced? This is how it is done in most countries. You don't close off an entire bridge because you want to resurface it. Nonsense. |
Abi Corona virus no dey for Naija? Na wao |
I thought there was a pandemic? Maybe I don't know what these fellows know. |
PrudencyFeats:I will even go a step further. Why can't we outsource the presidency and Governorship positions to proven foreigners who have steered other nations successfully and make the National and State House of Assemblies part time jobs? These jobs are money pits. If we can hire foreign coaches to coach our national team, why not do the same and replace our failed leaders. |
DICKstractor:I've got an idea. Get him interested in you and then tell him. He will stop sending money to the criminals in Nigeria and start spending what is left on you. |
I like this. No one is taking a chance by not wearing a face mask, especially when paying a condolence visit for a man who died from Covid-19. You don't want to become the next victim. |
I like her bigger. At least she won't have "I too fine" attitude. The slimmer her go get bad attitude because she don fine. |
jasent:My brother, this one tire me. How many will come down with coronavirus and possibly die from it? Na wa. |
