PoliticsRe: Anioma And Igbo Trends On Twitter by johnpablo541(m): 10:52am On Apr 27, 2020
Yujin:
Brilliant! Now this is Nnamdi Azikiwe's version and all the names mentioned are Igbo. They left Benin as either Aboriginal bini or as settlers(whether Igbo or another non-bini people) who went on adventure to Igboland passing through other notable Igbo territory to form Onitsha by the bank of River Niger. Meanwhile, we have other settlements in far flung Igbo territories like Ebonyi and Imo states.
Now I ask you again; where's the Benin palace version of a prince named?? who left Bini in the mid 18th century to form Onitsha Ado?
Hahahaha... I'm waiting for your answer.
Nnamdi Azikiwe is most recognised Onitsha man in history. He is an authority. So why go ask for another version when Zik of Africa already told us the history.

And he is trying to prove his Ignorance.

Stop regurgitating reverse migration because it also happens up till today.

There is nothing like Bini prince or Bini queen. It is simply Ignorance that you are propounding.

When you read , read with sense.

Benin kingdom named his son Chima and name others Izoduwa, taught this one Igbo and taught others edo language.

I don't engage in blind argument.
Nnamdi Azikiwe: My Genealogy and Nativity

"Thus, in tracing my paternal lineage, I could say that both parents of my father are direct descendants of Eze Chima. As for me, I can trace my paternal ancestry in this wise: I am the first son of Chukwuemeka, who was the third child and first son of Azikiwe, who was the second son of Molokwu, who was the third son of Ozomaocha, who was the second son of Inosi Onira, who was the fourth son of Dei, the second son of Eze Chima, the founder of Onitsha."

Yujin:
Lol. Just a simple question. Who's the Benin version of Ezechima in Benin history?
"I can trace my maternal ancestry thus: I am the first son of Nwanonaku Rachel Chinwe Ogbenyeanu (Aghadiuno)Azikiwe, who was third daughter of Aghadiuno Ajie, the fifth son of Onowu Agbani, first daughter of Obi Udokwu, the son who descended from five Kings of Onitsha. Five of these rulers of Onitsha were direct lineal descendants of Eze Chima, who led his warrior adventurers when they left Benin to establish the Onitsha city state in about 1748 AD.

Not only tracing. what about tracing lines on fabric.

Not only Bini prince, what about Bini princess?
Onitsha Mmili was known as Ado N'Idu by migrants who departed from the vicinity of the Kingdom of Benin near the far western portion of Igboland (near what is now Agbor), after a violent dispute with the Oba of Benin that can be tentatively dated to the early 16th-century. These migrants traveled eastward through what is now Western Igboland and various towns also called "Onitsha", for example Onicha-Ugbo, "farmland-Onitsha". Folklore has it that, Onitsha was founded by one of the sons of Chima, the founder of Issele-Uku Kingdom in western Igboland. Chima, a prince who emigrated, settled and founded what is now known as Issele-Uku in Aniocha North Local Government Area. The eldest son of Chima eventually emigrated across the Niger River to establish the Onitsha community.

It's all politics. All it takes to get the loyalty and support of the igbo masses is just claim to be igbo or support igbo cause (like biafra), and they would be ready to die for you. It does not not matter whether you are Calabari, Ikwerre, Benin or even Yoruba. Ask Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan or Fani Kayode or even Fayose.

In reality the Aniomas trace their roots from different sources, some trace their roots to Benin and so claim they are not igbos, while some trace their roots to Anambra and so claim to be igbos.
Even the Onitshas trace their roots to Benin. Onitsha was founded by the descendant of a Benin prince

He should stop visiting those very cheap saloon in the hoods,

He should apply warm water in a clean towel to the affected area some minutes before going to get a hair cut and he should do same after having a hair cut.

He should apply Neo-medrol to the affected morning and evening for about 4 days after having a hair cut. Aloe vera works too.

He should get his own clipper .
PropertiesRe: My Landlord Wants To Evict Me Before My Rent Expires by johnpablo541(m): 11:17am On Apr 02, 2020
einsteine:
Some rental agreements are based on the start of the month. The OP's agreement might have been backdated to April 1st. That's the only way the landlord is right. However, if the agreement explicitly stated 14 April, then the rent doesn't expire until 13 April and even so, a 6 month's notice has to be given (during which the tenant MUST pay rent) followed by a one week notice, after which forceful eviction is possible
Then the landlord is still cheating the OP, if the landlord wants to be using months then he should start to calculate his rent from the following month from when the house was rented. For example house was rented 14th April, then the landlord can write May 2019 to April 2019. But even doing so is wrong.

The Lagos tenancy law stipulates that the date payment was received should be written on the receipt.
PropertiesRe: My Landlord Wants To Evict Me Before My Rent Expires by johnpablo541(m):
Junkelie:
If you paid in April, your rent expires in March. Please pay up ASAP.
It doesn't work like that. Your tenancy expires a day before the day you paid in the following year.

You don't just count months, what date of the month did the person pay?

If we go by your logic, if for example i payed my rent on the 30th of April so you are saying my next year rent will be due by 30th of march?

Then the following year it will be due by 30th of Febhuh

Healthcare system in the southeast is in shambles! Frauds have overtaken real healthcare in almost every public hospital in the southeast. Those nurses were right!!!
The management of the hospital is funny, from the picture of the protest i can count about 50 nurses, what is the staff strength of the hospital so we know if it were only a few nurses that protested.

assuming you read The write up, you would see where it's stated the bridge was closed earlier than The presumed time.

Stupid human
What he means is that the Delta state govt has been announcing since early last week they they are shutting their borders with other states on Sunday morning by 6am. It was announced everywhere in delta state and online too.

The river niger bridge separates delta state from anambra state. So what happened was delta state government shut their end of the bridge on Sunday morning and the anambra state government was to shut their borders on the 30th,

But since delta state end of the bridge is shut then automatically that bridge is shut cos there is no alternate route around there.

True

I've been in Abuja for long you hardly see them on the streets excepts on eateries, hotel pools, clubs
It is because of the quality of the foreigners, they are mostly diplomats, government contractors, administrators in NGOs, international staffs in multinational firms etc.
Our country is not safe per say so they don't live around the locals for security reasons.

But the reverse is the case in their countries, most of our migrants to their countries are mostly the hustlers.
EducationRe: My Brother Failed Nysc Verification Exam. by johnpablo541(m): 2:29pm On Mar 28, 2020
zotorux:
To begin with, when did NYSC start verification exams for foreign students tho?
It started last year. Some graduates from African Universities knew nothing about their course of study and could not even make a correct sentence in English language.

The three suspects – Nasiru Yau, Shehu Mukhtar and Illiyasu Usman – claimed to have finished from the Isfop University of Cotonou in the Republic of Benin and brandished certificates from the institution. However, investigations would later reveal that the certificates were fake.

“Yau claimed to have finished from Mass Communication Department; Muktar, Computer Science and Usman from Sociology Department. They all claimed to have graduated from Istop University, Cotonou in the Benin Republic. But it was discovered that none of them could neither write nor say anything logical about their certificates or courses of study,” an NYSC top officer disclosed.

They were thereafter arrested and handed over to the police for prosecution.

While the trial of the women in Imo State was going on, two of the three suspects in Taraba were jailed three years over the fake credentials.

“All the fake graduates arrested during the NYSC camp are undergoing prosecution. The ones that we secured their jail terms are in Taraba. The court jailed two of them while one was discharged and acquitted. We are further trying to investigate that person.

How is it misleading that I show barges with cargos? Once the port is concessionalize and place as port of final destination, that how cargo barges will be bringing containers to the Port from nearby ports close to the sea, until it fully dredged, Julius Berger has been making use of Onitsha port bringing their cargoes for second niger bridge.

Below is Onitsha port complex and some of the containers JB brought, when they were about to start second niger bridge project, I took the pictures myself and they are still using the port, their construction yard is actually located inside Onitsha port complex, Julius Berger once had meeting with Southeast business community in Nnewi informed them they can assist them to bring In their cargos from any part of the world only if FG will place Onitsha port as port of final destination
You took the pictures i quoted yourself? Or you downloaded them from the internet ? I mean the pictures of barges with cargoes.
