Due to the nature of the soil, it was very difficult to dig more than 450mm to around 500mm. The soil is stiff clay and the site is relatively higher than the road.

Casting of foundation
1. Total length of strip footing =96m
2. Width of footings =675mm
3. Depth of footings = 150mm
4. Mix ratio =1:3:6 (by mass)

how many bags of cement, tons of sand and gravel did u use for the footing?

There's no aluminium type. One has Aluminium foil and waterproof covering while the other is purely POP with nothing wrapping it.
Both are referred to as Gypsium ceiling but, if you ask for POP type that's when you get that otherwise, you get to be shown the other.

They are both okay but the POP type is more expensive.

To prevent what happened in 1875 (like my good friend DominionNG used to say) from happening again, throw away the estimate and get a new one from a friend. The contractor who prepared this a great enemy.

Since my years in building, I've never spent up to N1,000,000 using long span roofing on a single build and below are the buildings I've done with less than N1m material and labour inclusive.

I've not spent that amount roofing any building except The Semi Detached Duplex in Diamond Estate Sangotedo where we used Wichtech Roofing. Anyone who paid more (for Aluminium or stone-coated) should ask for a refund. And there's never a single complain!

Last time I bought the 8mm type (with aluminium and waterproof covering), it was #2,500/carton of 8pcs excluding grids.

Can't find the receipt for the POP type. If I do I'll tell you. Thanks.

They are already cut in sizes of 595mmX595mmX8mm for the Gypsium ceiling which is waterproof on the side facing the room with an Aluminium foil covering the side to face the roof while the purely POP type (which is more expensive than the other) comes in size 595mmX595mmX20mm.

They usually come in packs of eight.

For installation in the kitchen, yes, you can. They can be installed anywhere but I won't advice installing outside like balcony or around the outer edges of the house due to the fact that you can easily remove them and replace yourself so not safe outside to prevent intruders.

Aesthetically, they are very nice as you have different design options to choose from.

I did a test of the POP type and they hold water very well without scattering (poured water severally on one board but, it only absorbed it but didn't drip so I believe they can hold a while if you have roof leakage- the POP type I mean here). Also tried burning it but it didn't so, it is not flammable which is another plus.

The grids/ rails are made of Aluminium while the ceiling boards are made of POP. While most are made of only POP, others come in POP with an aluminium foil coverin the part facing the roof and a clear waterproof material covering the side facing the floor. They are also called gypsium ceilings.

I have had a few suggestions on using POP/PVC and someone recently brought Suspended ceiling to my attention so wanted to get more information on this.
