I know someone whose own was declined based on sudden account turnover, they claimed that he had never had such account inflow before so his sudden lump sums disqualified him. Again they are all tactics cos the demand is more than the available fx can cover.

If you ask me I'll suggest you focus more on explaining why you chose your program, the perks and all as against why the you chose the qualification over another.

You can apply for your form A request, don't panic.

The processing time is quite long, this is usually within 30 - 40 days so if you have an alternative or a deadline you might want to rethink.

Some people feel that smaller banks process faster than larger banks but I'm no sure how true that is.

Once you apply please ensure your account is funded from when it is approved till it's processed so it doesn't get rejected with insufficient funds as the reason - you will start all over and wait another 30-40days for it.

This 5 -10 days is not sure. Since August 2nd till date the medical report is still in progress. It is well over 10 working days now

If you're referring to the time it takes for it to reflect as passed on your profile, that is untill IRCC processes it, mine was update to passed after a month of upfront medicals.
This is quite different from when IOM transmits it to IRCC.

My biometrics was transmitted same day I went for capturing, it's over a month and it's yet to change to passed on my profile.

I only used my WAEC certificate and Bsc certificate, and int'l ppt.

Your Bsc and transcript is enough, I got a mail from them to add my Waec cert and Waec scratch card because Wes delayed my transcript delivery.

I’d like to know what to do after doing medicals at IOM after getting a medical request from IRCC. Will you wait for IOM to transfer your medical result to IRCC. Or will you upload the document that was given at IOM, through web form? I’ll appreciate your response to this.

IOM will transmit your result to IRCC within 5 - 10 business days automatically once it's ready, however, you can forward your e-medical sheet to IRCC via webform or mail.

please after paying tuition fee via flywire to the university of saskatchewan and receipt is issued from flywire, is there any need to demand for a receipt from the school again before applying for VISA.

Receipt of tuition transfer to your school is different from receipt confirming funds have been received by your school.

Most times the receipt confirming your school has received the funds would be in your student portal within 3 business days from the time flywire sends the funds i.e if you have a student portal you login to, if you don't have such then you can mail your school to request for fees confirmation receipt/letter.

please can flywire receipt be used as proof of payment to apply for visa application.

Once flywire remits your fee to your school, the school will confirm receipt of funds and generate a confirmation receipt, that's what you will use.

Pgwp is what enables you to stay back after grad and work, it's usually 1 - 3 yrs depending on your length of program (1 yr prog - 1 yr pgwp, 2 yrs prog and above - 2-3yrs pgwp).

With that you can apply for EE and earn more points as a graduate from a Canadian institution with a Canadian work experience.

Before you apply to any school ensure its a DLI and the program is a mini of 8months to qualify for PGwp.

Your last statement is hilarious.

To stand a chance, you're to apply within your area of study or area of working experience.

You can switch careers, however, you will be saddled with the responsibility to explain your decision convincingly enough to the VOs when you apply for your study permit.

For schools, simply Google for Canada DLI colleges/universities and make your choice in terms of the schools tuition costs, tuition initial deposits, deferral/withdrawal policies. You can return and ask specific questions for guidance.

Also note that you need to study for at least 8 months to be eligible for PGwp.

It's too glaring and not nice at all. Their Twitter page is only to announce downtime on their website and their national holidays.

A colleague of mine applied for UK visa the week I applied to Canada and his has been approved. I just get mixed reactions instantly lol and he's to resume next month.

We stay hopeful though. It will end is praises!!!

Hello house, gurus please share your thoughts on my request, I am still awaiting feedback on my application but just got an approved International loan to support my study and other expenses, do I necessarily have to submit the support letter to IRCC to show additional funds or there’s no need?Are international loans well received by IRCC?

If you ask me I would suggest you raise a web form / send a mail to IRCC with this update as it is to support your POF/application.

Applicants pay they school fees, open a GIC account and update IRCC after submitting their applications so why not you. You can update them with your loan support approval letter.

This is my suggestion, you can wait for other replies.

A friend of mine went for Biometrics and she did it with her contact lens on. Right now she has been waiting for her biometrics to be updated to pass but it has not happened. She has been reaching out to the biometrics center Abuja but they keep responding that she should contact IRCC. All efforts to contact IRCC has proved abortive…
1. Can it be because of the contact lens she used?
2. What can she do?

The eyeglasses/contact lenses instruction is usually for medicals if you wear them not really for biometrics capturing though i had to take off my glasses during my capturing.

I think she's fine if she was cleared and given her Biometrics slip so let her relax.

I had my biometrics capturing since July 14th, it's over a month and it's yet to be updated as passed. It is only reflecting on my dashboard as successfully transmitted to IRCC but yet to be updated as passed like my medicals.

Please is it true that Nigerian banks do not process payment with Form A for a diploma course?

I've been on form A processing for over a month now but a bank staff just told me it won't fly because it's a diploma. That they only process bachelor's and master's degrees.

Not true. Form A is for invisible payments (payments for services), it could be school fees, medical fees, dues/remittances etc. You just need the right documents to process one which I'm sure you have hence the reason you submitted your request.

The challenge is as a result of FX unavailability from CBN to process these requests considering the recent surge in invisible payments and the devaluation of the Naira.

Banks will treat on first come first serve, who you know and how urgent it is.

Keep disturbing them and ensure your account is always funded for the debit so they don't get to your turn and see that you've withdrawn your funds - if that happens you will have to reapply and wait for another 40days.

You're to attach your flywire invoice, university degree certificate, admission letter and a signed letter of instruction to debit your account at the end while filling for the form A.

The bank will work with the information on the flywire invoice so don't stress.

Disbursement takes about 30 - 40 days so you have to be really patient and ask the bank for feedback once in a while to ginger them.

my question is flywire gave me a reference payment ID. that i need to input in my payment for them to be able to locate and track my payment, which means without it, they will have issues confirming my payment fast. the issue now is that i don't have a column for reference or remarks on my form a application form on the portal, please what can i do in this case? i am very confused and i need to apply fast because my deadline is in 7 weeks time

Sorry for the late response.

It's your bank that will input the reference narration at the point of transfer to flywire not you.

Just fill the other details and submit.

WhatsApp group is for PPR people going to same location/school so they can organise and go in group.

There are several schools that accept Waec, neco.

Search for Canadian DLI colleges/universities and check their requirements, You can then ask questions about the specific school you have chosen.

Most of your enquiries you will even find on the school's website.

Relying on people to choose school for you is not ideal because there are several factors involved like cost of school fees, deferral/withdrawal policies, tuition deposits etc.

Family Application: May 15th, 2022 (Main Applicant, Spouse and two tiny munchkins for visitor visitor visas)
Biometrics: May 20th, 2022 (updated same day)
Upfront Medical: 9th June, IRCC requested medical 18th June, sent web form and email with the upfront medical slip.
Spouse Visitor Visa: Application cancelled by IRCC, indicating I don’t need visitor visa and should apply for SOWP instead with return of application fees. (I still only need to visit but how I go do, applied for SOWP awaiting decision)
Medical Updated to pass: 1st July, 2022
Eligibility Review: 1st July, 2022
BVL: 5th August, 2022
PPR: 10th August, 2022.

Children application still on Eligibility Review
Spouse SOWP, awaiting further update.

Fill in the total estimates for your program fees, living expenses etc just as asked. This should be for your total length of stay.

Alright, I'll suggest you check your profile on the portal to confirm the status of your previous application and contact IRCC via webform/emails to be sure.

You can leave your current application running while you get feedback on your previous application enquiry from them.

Merge all together (police cert, sop, etc) and upload as supporting docs.

There are specific columns for letter of admission, passport, POF.

Hello guys, please I have a question.
My journey for this canada immigration has been very long.
The the plan is for my mum, brother and I to all leave for Canada.
Last year my study permit application was approved but I was unable to meet up with the travel date specified on my counter foil.
My mum(47) and brother also applied for visit visas on my mum’s GCKey profile with reason being to visit me. (We never got any update on them so we wrote to cancel the applications)

My mum applied this year for a study permit and it was approved to the glory of God.
My new study permit application is underway and hopefully it will end in praise.

Now the problem is that we had submitted a new visit visa for my brother who is 16 on the new portal.
We both went for our upfront medicals and they were updated on the 3rd of August.
Something just told me to check and lo and behold the old visit visa application was also updated to “Medicals passed”
Is it wrong to have two visit visa applications concurrently?
What should we do?

When you say you couldn't meet up with your travel date you might need to be more specific, do you mean your permit is expired and you never got to use it or you couldn't meet up with your flight departure plans but still have a valid permit?

Congrats to your mum for her permit approval.

Now to your question, are you applying for another permit while your previous permit is still valid?
You stated that you were approved last year so you might need to reconfirm if you have two different permits pending for approval so you can be advised further.

The new portal takes away the need to fill the pdf-like forms and electronically sign on them in the old Portal.

All you do on the new portal is fill out the responses and then attach your supporting documents (your sop and other documents you feel would make your application standout) at the end before you transmit and pay your application fees.
