Lolz these my Christian "brethren" sef. Now HOW TO BECOME A CHRISTIAN 101: being a Christian is not a one time thing, the word Christian means christ-like and it's a full time job and because we are neither perfect nor omniscient, we need to learn everyday and put in the work daily. Now regarding your "enemies", a Christian should ask... What would Jesus do? Therein lies your answer to this very simple question.

If you cannot guarantee this won't turn bloody don't oocupy, if you cannot protect people's businesses if this goes south don't occupy, if you haven't lifted a finger to help or donate the victims of police brutality don't occupy,if you haven't gotten the permission of the business owners, residents who may be affected don't try any nonsense. How many of these so called online activists have actually reached out to the supposed victims. Do you know any victim? Have you sought out any of these "victims" to assist them or help them in any way? Enough of this hypocrisy.if truly you want to make things better, you will find a way to do that if you sit and think about it. Don't put others in more pain just Because you are frustrated.

Our youths should be careful, don't let politicians use you for their selfish agenda. No one should occupy a public private property in the name of protests, so many parks are available. Many pple are already waiting for the opportunity to riot, loot and destroy other people's businesses. The original endsars protest went on for too long and that was why it was hijacked. This will be hijacked from the get go. If you have loved ones who care about you, there's a lot to consider. Also don't let your actions destroy other people's livelihood.

Op, stop the misinformation. The project was commissioned to help relieve the stress on apapa port and also for commuting between Lagos and ibadan. The discussion on the concession of the ibadan dry port is still ongoing and Chinese giant crcc is said to be leading the bid. So you can't expect cargo to be moving already when the port to receive the cargo isn't finished.please let's avoid copy and paste. If you have to open a topic at all, you should at least be interested and find information on the subject. That's just due diligence.

WoundedLamb:

I was waiting for this comment. It's always about the ladies regardless of who's perpetuating the crime. When a woman kills, ladies are terrible. When a man kills, the lady killed herself. In one way or the other, the lady eventually takes the blame home. You didn't even call out your fellow man who murdered another human being. But you were quick to point out how the lady brought it upon herself. While you're pitying the ladies, also be kind enough to pity the yahoo boys themselves who risk their lives as well. Let's learn to balance out our criticism.
well, as long as this world continues to exists, there will always be cultists, armed robbers, ritualists, drug dealers, assassins and so on,there is a difference between dating someone you know is a criminal and dating for greed and material purposes. You see, ladies are in the habit of knowingly dating criminals, it's the bad boy effect. There's a thrill in dating the bad boy, and obviously is not the same as dating a blue collar guy earning from his 9-5.women love bad boys and herein lies the problem. Many armed robbers in the 80s keep weapons with their girlfriends for safe keeping,it was a common occurrence to the extent it became a given, to catch an armed robber, just tail him to his girlfriend's place and you get him and his weapons. it has been this way, it didn't start yesterday and it would probably be till the end of days.

Women may think this is men overreacting, but I will tell you a simple fact which is I don't think any man can recover from a paternity fraud. All the few cases I've heard have all ended in a very bad way.with most dying a few years after 'the case was settled'. For men, it's more scary than not having children of your own. So quite frankly, paternity fraud is the second worst crime that can be committed against a man, murder being the first imo.

All the questions u asked did u ask it to a Yoruba man before u made Obj President or did u ask it to ijaws before Gej was made president or did u ask it to Buhari before he was made president?

That apart am very busy right now if really u want me to answer them quote me in the evening when am done with work
maybe those questions are too difficult to answer because that's what you have to do to convince some of us(though we are a minority) and we will likely not be enough to guarantee victory , otherwise you have buy votes from those who wish to sell.but then, other people too can buy these votes.

Nigerians think about it, u can't solve a problem by applying the same strategy over and over again.

To me the only region that's yet to rule Nigeria is the SE and the North East smhw we should be given a shot.

The major reason for the cry for Biafra has sth to do with leadership.

If we want a united country let we Igbo's be given a chance.

Igbo's have suffered enough in this Nigeria, its too bad that their are some govtboffices you go just speaking Hausa gives u express entry but speaking Igbo's u must bribe everybody cause they know Igbo's don't have anybody in power.
"Sorry if this my last comment offends you"
I think the question we should be asking is "why should an igbo person be made the president"?. Surely you yourself know that just being igbo,or for the sake of "fairness" even "equity" is not enough. The question is of what benefit is an Igbo president to me as a yoruba man which I am, or to a typical Hausa or Fulani man.Abaribe like most of our useless leaders have become so lazy that they don't know leadership comes with responsibilities. In the old times, power was either given (after some heroic deed or great achievement.) or by conquest(taking over by force) now in these modern times a new method has been added:power can be bought. Now how do you get a yoruba or hausa man to vote for igbo candidate. At the moment I know the enmity between the Igbo and the Yoruba.i used to doubt that fact but I've come to realize that it's not a myth after the many rain of abuse and curses on my people by igbo pple resident in the south west. I didn't have to travel to the south east to witness that. Now back to the important issue. Why? Will the Igbo man come and campaign and tell us what he wants to do for us. How he wants to revive our cocoa plantations and improve our IGR? , how he wants to help us build capacity in the ICT sector where we lead? or is it at the very least how he hopes to Unite us as a people to forge common goals of development?or simply come to tell us how tinubu is bad and not worthy of our support? Does he go to the north and tell them how he aims to help them build more irrigation projects to further boost their productivity?tell them about his plans to help stop extremism by educating their youths? Or simply attempt to buy their votes?all these are what any serious candidate or group of persons should be discussing at this point especially the Igbos . Igbo precidency will not come by issuing threats or even by begging, but by promoting unity and development for all. I cannot truly hate an Igbo man who seeks equity for his people but also wants to act in good faith,as this is more important than the current situation we find ourselves. That's what leadership is all about.at this point, most of our useless leaders prefer to stoke ethnic sentiments and buy our votes and we all know that even in that sort of contest, the Igbo will not win. so it's about time someone starts doing the right thing and truly I feel that burden lies with the Igbo people.anyone with money can buy votes for peanuts, if an igbo man comes with the right message, I will listen.

Like I said,it's definitely from your gut.Get bitter kola, chew a bit before going to bed. if you have had a stomach ulcer in the past be careful, bitter kola might irritate your stomach and please dont get addicted to it just because it works, too much can be bad for your health. If you feel any discomfort, try using it with a suspension like gestid. Also make sure you deworm if you haven't been doing that.get enough exercise.your walking around campus isnt what I'm implying.and don't forget. Just get your body waste out as soon possible, I mean your excrement, nasal discharge if any, ear wax, sweat, urine etc. In a week, you'd feel brand new.

The anti Trump stance is sickening
have you heard of Fox news? Dstv doesn't air the channel but I can tell you it's the most anti Democrat news station out there. They have more than five anchors dedicated to slamming democrats, like Tucker Carlson, trumps BFF Sean Hannity, Lou Dobbs, Laura Ingraham, the five etc. Let me just tell you that all this people I mentioned have said the virus is a Democrat hoax especially Laura, that one insisted the democrats were trying to "crush Trump greatest economy ever by shoving coronavirus in our faces". That's her specialty. The CNN you are condemning is just trying its best to counter fox News by being pro Biden.if dstv aired fox News you will know CNN are not even doing enough to protect democrats.

One thing is certain, who ever wins will have a lot to do to reunite that country.the way things are going both sides would try to rig this election and of course there's evidence already that both Russia and China are trying to influence the result. definitely the loosing side would contest the results. This may be just a sample of what's to come even after the election is concluded.

wirinet:

Are you aware that the organizers of BBN spent close to N2.5Billion to organise the show? Or that the show alone employ over 300 youths directly and hundreds more indirectly?
Then we are not talking about Multichoice itself, which employs tens of thousands both directly and indirectly.
If you drive foreign countries doing legitimate business on Nigeria because of morality, what message are you passing to other foreign investors? Even U.A.E. had to suspend morality in it's main cities to attract foreign investors and tourists, in order to boost it's economy after oil.

You are talking about morals now because we still have free oil money from the Niger Delta. If there was no free money for both the politicians and youths to he fighting over, don't you think Nigerians will be begging foreigners to come to Nigeria and invest billions, so youths can find jobs?
investing 2.5 billion to make 7.5 billion like they did with pepper dem is an idea every investor will jump at. Also remember there was virtually little risk as they knew from the bbafrica experience that Nigerians will watch and vote.all I'm saying is if they want to make money from us they should at least give us something worthwhile expecially when they take huge profits. Tobacco companies pay huge taxes,if this show must stay they should pay huge taxes for the damage they cause.

cheesy ok ok, all I'm saying is a foreign company should not come and make money off our youth while degrading our society at the same time. They could still make some profit if not the same outrageous amount if they consider other shows that won't cause more issues for us
TV/Movies / Re: Ooni Of Ife, Ogunwusi Wants BBNaija Scrapped And Replaced by jollymizzle(m): 12:56pm On Aug 15, 2020
Gulder ultimate search is what the organizers should sponsor rather than this infernal bbn. It was a great show which encouraged participants to solve problems, and I think we would all agree that we have a lot of problems to solve.

With due respect to Ooni and other notable Nigerians with diverse views on BBN airing.

Ooni of Ife and all those clamouring and agitating for the ban of Big Brother Nigeria airing should proffer an alternative reality show to counter it.

Ooni and other notable Nigerians should sponsor televising such counter-BBN show and make sure they reward the participants with millions of naira that matches that of BBN if not far and above.

Please I come in peace and will appreciate any sensible criticism whatsoever.

I disagree, it's not always about alternatives, people have to make a right decision on what to do with their time. The more people make right decisions, the better for us as a society. It's moral decay is evident, we need to find ways to stop it from becoming worse.if this show must continue we need to make it as less profitable as it is currently for the organizers.

Op, there's a lesson in this and you should be greatful.first thing is to Apologize,I can think of three ways depending on how much fear you feel. ,if you can do it directly without making it worse, if not meet an elder to intercede on your behalf. 3,But if you can't do the first two because you are ashamed of yourself and don't want to be known as cruel and heartless as your actions portray, you can try appeasement. Make up an excuse and find a way to pay for the damages. You can pretend you won a lottery or whatever and use that excuse to give her some money. However this third option does not mean you will be forgiven as you have held on to a bit of pride.. Infact none of the option does. However ask forgiveness from God, the goat, and the woman if you can. Now to the lesson,I hope your fear shows that you at least have a bit of remorse about what you did. Never forget what your anger has caused. This incident might be God trying to save you from a future where anger destroys you. Now that you know never to let your anger get the best of you, do any of the 3 options and leave the rest to God.

China is being proactive here, once again they are showing the world the way forward . It's not the time to complain or apportion blame without any vision like a certain western nation is doing. This is the time to dig deeper and find the will to survive. If this is the new normal we can adapt and we must.

don't be fooled, the nation's you mentioned just want to survive like the rest of us, they are not struggling for dominance, it's just the US which funnily can't abide the thought it is now a distant number two making all the fuss. Us is the only country in the world shouting about China.South Korea was hit hard too but instead of complaining, they aggressively pursued contact tracing and it helped to reduce the number of infections. “I think the whole world can see now, remember, China has a history of infecting the world and running substandard laboratories,” Pompeo said.

He said early Chinese efforts to downplay the coronavirus amounted to “a classic Communist disinformation effort. That created enormous risk.”

What many people don't know is when the US goes broke which might not be far off, it is China that will bail them out, just like they did in 2008.china are the new overlords whether you like it or not. We can just hope and pray they are merciful.the rest of the world isn't stupid that's why no one is confronting them except 'murica' which loves to think itself the sole world power.those of you encouraging America to confront China might soon feel sorry for them. for many people who don't know china's history, they have suffered untold humiliation from the west just like Africa has. The worst might have been the opium war perpetrated by the UK. They have a phase in their history called 100years of humiliation when tiny Japan with the help of the west enslaved them and it was very brutal.i still can remember what a lot of Americans, even Nigerians were saying when the virus emerged. Many concluded it was America's doing and they have China by the balls. Some American media were saying the virus only affect 'chinks'.fast forward a few months America has gone to hell. If America doesn't find a cure for this soon. Americans not the Chinese will tear America to pieces.

If Nigerians were truly smart, that country will not be in the pathetic state it's in right now. Nigerians are only 'smart' when it comes to criminal activities.
you are right we have a lot of criminals and most people don't want a honest job.but we are also more prepared and able to earn and survive in a more favorable environment. But making Nigeria better? it's not that simple, nation building is complicated. It could take centuries, Look at India with their people leading various sectors in America,Nigeria needs a radical change like the Chinese if we want to rise as quickly as they did, but that rise cost them about 100 million souls. Since most of us don't want to become that kind of statistic, we prefer to build our nation by building our own families first.

I'm not surprised. I gave up on telling people how extra ordinarily dumb and stupid a lot of Americans are because a lot of people just couldn't belive the greatest country in the history of the world shockingly has lots of stark illiterates.if you want to know what being extremely stupid is, go to redneck areas in texas, or those areas you have mostly black/Hispanic communities. Then you will know that while America has a good educational system, the people who take most advantage of it are usually immigrants. Let me give a simple example, trump told Americans that China was paying for the tariffs and most of his uneducated supporter base swallowed it even without knowing what it means except since trump said it and making America great again is all that matters. you could get a heart attack trying to explain the meaning of word tariff.Guys you may hate your country all you want and of course many have the right to because let's face it, Nigeria hasn't really provided lots of opportunities for its citizens. However with that price also comes a boon, most of us know our right from left, most are streets art and can survive anywhere, lots of us rise above a certain level that's why a serious minded Nigerian will make it in America easily, however it may be that in a few months, American visa wouldn't be as attractive as it once was. News flash, civil unrest might start in America anytime soon, some communities are already forming militias
