FamilyRe: My Wife Is Pregnant, I Don't Know If Its With My Baby. by jomoh:
MemphisRaynes:
No it wasn't in the chat. She told the guy about the Pregnancy in my presence via call. I actually suggested it since the guy is a Gyno and could be of help medically. But this was before I read that chat.
Golden rule! never ever doubt the paternity of a pregnancy before birth except you're 100percent sure. What if she terminates the pregnancy and claim she had a miscariage? Then you will never know if she's been cheating on you.
Secondly what if the child turns out to be yours. Nobody ever want to hear the story that his father doubted his paternity during pregnancy.

Have you tried to do another scan somewhere else to get a second opinion about it and if possible a third opinion(scan). The first scan result could be wrong.

Even though there's evidence to be doubtful but not enough to confront your wife.

If the second and third opinion says the same thing then you can wait till after the birth of the child for a proper test.

Also the gyneacologist might not be the one she's cheating on you with, he might be the one she went to for advice after having sex and discovering that she might be pregnant.

Is your wife in the medical line? if not, why is she on a 6months training with a gyneacologist? Try and get to know if truly they were in the same training.

Also what are the odds that she made friends with a gynaecologist in training and she became pregnant shortly after the training then the first person she complain of a stomach pain to was a gyneacologist and not a general practitioner.

It's good to conclude in your mind with these evidences but you shouldn't have confronted her because your suspicion might turn out to be false.

RomanceRe: I Caught My Fiancé In Bed With His Niece. by jomoh: 4:58pm On Jun 28, 2017
sweetangel04:
Fellow nairalanders. am new on this platform. I am dating a guy whose love for me has successfully built up my confidence in him.ò we have been dating for over a year and just recently he proposed to me which I accepted because I never expected his marriage proposal to come so soon.

Fast forward, last weekend I came to visit him. on entering his sitting room I met a young lady in her late 30s. my guy introduced her to me as his niece which she as well confirmed. just early this morning at about 1am I woke up to ease myself only to discover that that my guy was not in bed with me. I tiptoed to the guest room door and I head voices. my guy's so called niece was moaning heavily. i tried opening the door, it opened, low and behold my man was aggressively banging this girl with reckless abandon. he did not stop until he ejaculated that was when they both realised there was a third party watching them. my man has been pleading telling me it's was the devil who pushed him.

I discovered that the lady is actually his niece. right now I don't want to continue with him anymore. few hours ago his parent called and begged me not to leave their son. I asked if their son told them what he did? they said he did not. but as things stands now am pulling out of the relationship until he confesses to the world what he did and why he did it.
So until after he confesses to the whole world that you will forgive him? Ok

But the question is this will you be able to live with the shame of the whole world knowing that your husband had sex with his niece?

A lot of couple live with far worse secrets that people don't know about. The reason that they can is because people don't know and there's no one to poke fun at either of them.

If you choose to forgive him without people knowing, it will be a good leverage to control or keep him in check.

You live him, he loves you and you have his secret already, keep it and you earn his greatest respect for life. Spill it out and you loose everything.

How can an educated human being convincingly tell me he/she didn't see all this or don't understand all this?

Well I guess the NO button should be made quite bigger that the YES button. So that for you to have seem the smaller YES button then you must have been sure of the action you're taking.

It is funny how you mentioned history lesson but your history teacher was so poor that he forgot to teach you that the north was using Arabic as a means of education even before the white man brought English and Christianity to Nigeria. This is why you find Arabic in Naira notes and Nigerian military symbols.

Summary: Arabic has being in Nigeria even before English or Christianity.

To an average Northerner, Arabic is a second language while English is a third language.

To an average southerner, English is a second language while French is to be adopted as a third language.

They are not forcing Arabic on you and you should stop complaining cos the north is not complaining of forcing French upon them.

RomanceRe: Man and Woman are different.. Nothing like Gender Equality by jomoh: 5:17am On Jun 20, 2017
Melonny:
As you have said, let's appreciate our gender. I would like to point out what really GENDER EQUALITY is, Gender equality is achieved when women and men enjoy the same rights and opportunities across all sectors of society, including economic participation and decision-making, and when the different behaviours, aspirations and needs of women and men are equally valued and favoured (genderequality.ie)
So, it doesn't mean men and women become the same, we should have access to same opportunities.
There is nothing like gender equality. Men and Women are never equal and we can never get equal opportunity in everything.

The roles of man and woman are very different relative to our physical structure. It is more evident in animals than in man. Can there be equality in football, boxing, mining, military, Firefighting etc if we share every opportunity equally then we should share every responsibility equally but we both know this is impossible.

If we are to share everything equally, the woman folk will be on the losing side cos the women folk will have to go through the stress of pregnancy and all and then again still go ahead and sure the responsibility of providing for the family. Now tell me if that will be fair.

As long as we cannot share the responsibility equally then we shouldn't share the opportunity equally.

I dey sure sey u no get HIV. more than 80% of people that think the way you do don't even have the virus but one powerful thing I learnt about the human brain when I went through this same thing was that, the human brain is so powerful that it can mimic what you actually think and make you believe it is really happening to you whereas it is only your brain playing trick with your imagination.

You've not mentioned any symptom of the disease. Even the 1week you mentioned is too short for HIV to manifest in the human body. It takes at the least 3weeks after infection for It to show it's first symptoms.

It is better you get tested early so you can face the treatment of your typhoid squarely. You're probably a typhoid patient like I used to be.
CrimeRe: Nigerians Are Angry With Evans' Family For Pleading For Mercy by jomoh:

Now, let me agree with you.
The problem is corruption.

Evans has committed both murder and kidnapping, what shall we do to him?

You are advocating for Evans to be punished right?

What do you suggest of the system protects Evans?
The system shouldn't protect anybody in any sane society that has no corruption.

It is the people in the system that use the system to protect their people. Evans is only being exposed because he has no people in the system and has no backing.

Tompolo and other ND militants got away with kidnapping and other heinous crimes under GEJ. It might not have gotten to the level of killing people mindlessly because of our different views towards preservation of life.

You have to understand that the Nigerian system of government has being reduced to a game of thrones, the winner takes all. You also have to understand that Nigeria is not the only diverse country in the world but our problem is one of the deepest If not the deepest due to years of corruption. It has greatly affected the way we think and address issues and relate with each other.

You also have to understand that we didn't start out like this but over the years and most recent events has aggravated the problem further.

The symbol of justice depicts a blindfolded woman holding sword on the right hand and scale on the left. If the laws of the land had being applied blindly across board over the years we wouldn't have this issues at hand but because of the gradual corruption of our mentality, the issues of ethnicity started taking the center stage in our system.

If you must agree with me, the blindfold on the woman (in Nigeria) has been removed to determine the class and tribe of the offender depending on the person in charge. The corrupt and neglect from the ruling class has trickled down to the ruled. It has now become the norm.

Come and see what I mean by our corrupt mentality. Imagine some people pleading for the release of Evans. A confessed kidnap king pin.

Imagine those set of people being in power. It is the same thing happening with those useless killer fulani herdsmen. Their tribesman is the one in power.

PoliticsRe: Is Buhari Nigeria’s Last President? - By Fredrick Nwabufo (The Cable) by jomoh: 8:22pm On Jun 17, 2017
GworoChewinMaga:
The Wolf pack has always been admired and hated by man for its unison and team spirit.

The alpha pair consisting of a male and female alpha members lead the pack to a successful kill.

The success of a pack is thus hinged on the alpha members and that of the alpha members continued dominance is guaranteed by the ability of the pair to ensure the pack remains fed and protected.

There is no discrimination among pack members in terms of survival as the security of a pack is determined by the sustainability of each pack member.

The larger the pack, the larger their range of control and thus their ability to secure kills.

For a situation the appointed pack hierarchy chooses to discriminate among its members there is bound to be some disaffection leading to either coups or disgruntled members leaving the pack.

In Wolf packs, secession occurs where prey is scarce or the pack is weakly controlled by a beta pair.

Nigeria with the dwindling prey (oyel money) and disgruntled members (5 percentiles and Fulani ravaged middle belt) , the pack seems to be slipping because we have a beta cringing id1ot leading the pack.

The Yorubas have always been omega members never challenging their position and relying on scraps.

If you think the wolf analogy is weak remember that the greatest old empire, Rome considered itself as a pack and believed that the founders of their city Rome where reared by wolves.

Today Nigeria is being led by a mutt- a weakling and bastardized version of what an alpha Wolf ought to be.

These are truly the last days of the dog.
@the bold. Yes we Yorubas don't challenge destiny because we are intelligent enough to know that even a Lion king dare not challenge a formidable wolf pack.

No you are wrong. The hargest ethnic group in china are the han, and they make up 92 percent of chine. This is a total different case from yoruba people who makeup 20 percent of the nigeria.
If one ethnic group can makeup 92 percent, who cares about the minorities? You cant use sub groups to measure a country diversity. Dont germans or other european countries/ethnic groups have subgroups?
I am ijesha, and there is no difference between me and an ijebu or egbaman. The only difference between me and the mentioned is that i speak a different dialect from them but same language.
What is the difference between an Hausa man and a kanuri man.

What is the difference between a Zango kattaf man and a kanuri man or an Hausa or a bororo or a fulani. According to international demography of Nigeria, they are the largest. but does the demography separate them into Kanuri, Zango Kataff, bororo no it doesnt.

In Yoruba land their is the Ebira, ILaje, Itsekiri, Egun, Tapa, okun people of Kogi. They don't speak typical Yoruba dilect but they are Known as Yoruba internationally. Some part of benin speak Yoruba but they don't call themselves Yoruba. A minority group in Delta speak Yoruba but they don't call themselves Yoruba.

Chinese demograph does not separate the Han too and it listed only 56 ethnic groups but in actual fact there are over 271 languages in China. So which ethnic groups are speaking the 271 that is "reported"(there will still be others not reported). Just because they are called Han doesn't mean there are not division within them.

Your Yoruba example is like that of the Mandarin spoken in varieties by 71% of the population which is not up to the 92% of the Han people. This shows that at least 21% of Han people don't speak Mandarin.

So what language do they speak? Definitely few or more of the 271 other languages.

That means you are saying nigeria has over 300 ethnic groups. Is that no so?
Yes. Nigeria has only less than 20 internationally recognised ethnic groups with the remaining 270+ unrecognised

It also means if China has more than 56 reported then amongst them, they will surely have more than 500+ unrecognised.

Same applys to the Arabs who also have ethnic groups amongst them.

I hope you get my logic now.
PoliticsRe: Our Diversity Is The Cause Of Our Disunity by jomoh:
deedeedee1:
Nigeria does not have 20 ethnic groups. We have far much more than that. Niger delta alone has more than 20. How can you now compare china with nigeria. You are using sub ethnic group to measure diversity.
Baba, you dont know what you are saying
Kaduna alone has more than 20 ethinic groups but according to international recognition, they are all Hausa but a Zango kataff man will never allow you call him Hausa but they speak Hausa.

Han is the major ethnic group in China and you think they too don't have groups like the Zango Kataff who would prefer not to be called Han?

Middle Easterners and north Africans are refered to as Arabs majorly but withing themselves they have groups.

Most of the 20 you are saying will be called Ijaw or Urhobo in international circles but it is within themselves that they know they are not Ijaws or Urhobo or Itsekiri.
