so how many times have you ready about some Chinese invading the lands of fellow Chinese and wiping them out while they slept?

how many times have riot broke out in China and a particular section of the Chinese are killed by fellow Chinese.

Every unity comes with some price, but wiping out Benue state in the name of unified Nigeria is out of the question.

excuse me please.

Stop all this. It's embarrasing that a Nigerian will be talking about Benue communal clashes in this manner.

A knowledgeable Nigerian knows the communal clashes was the main reason the Ighala people of Kogi state were separated from Gongola state to join the ebira people in kogi. That is if you know the story of the old Gongola state.

It has been continuing ever since OBJ time.

Go and read the history of China and particularly the book called "The Art of War" written by a Chinese emperor.

What do you think the great walls of China are for? Time travel? It was built for defence against "foreign" invaders who are today part of China.

There is a different between communal clashes and genocide.

it is only the wicked that will call the Fulani herdsmen invasions as communal clash.

For your info, both the herdsmen and Boko Haram are working to achieve the dreams of the Fulani Jihardist called Usman Dan Fodio.
Now you're getting irritating with your hatred for a particular religion which takes me back to my stand. You're part of the corruption bedeviling this nation.

All you've shown all through the discussion is your plain hatred for a particular religion. The same way you are hating on this people and by extention anyone associated with the religion is mind boggling.

Then again your argument has still not challenged my stance. If we are not mentally corrupt how can there be genocide in a country that has rule of law. Yet nobody is being made to answer for the crime in this age and time.

Drop your emotions that is on the verge of bigotry and learn the meaning of corruption.

BTW there is no difference between communal clashes and genocide. Communal clashes become genocide when a particular ethnic group starts having the upper hand over the other.

There are 57 ethnic groups in china. Nigeria has almost 300
There are 56 reported ethnic groups in China, without mentioning the sub ethnic groups.

There are less than 20 majors ethnic groups in Nigeria. It is the sub ethnic groups that takes it to 300.

Yoruba is an ethnic group in Nigeria, Ijebu, Ebira, Egba, ekiti, Igbomina are sub ethnic groups.

Hausa is an ethnic group In Nigeria but there are hundreds of Hausa speaking cultures.

If China has 56 reported ethnic groups, you can imagine the number of sub ethnic groups there.

Again Google is your friend and your enemy, it all depends on how you choose to filter the information you get from it.

To be candid with you , you are playing with my intelligence and I don't like it.

So, you are now equating Jihardism as corruption?
So the ever present communal clashes happening in Jos and other SS states are Jihadism. So because Fulani herdsmen is involved now, it is jihardism.

First you need to learn about causes and effects, then clear your mind of hate and see the truth that there have always been communal clashes in Nigeria long before Bokoharam.

You see what I am talking about. Your mentality has been corrupted that you now believe China is United because they don't have Islam whereas the person you quoted said the opposite.

For your information, China also has their unity problem but they appear more United because they have managed to scale down their corrupt mentality. China was greatly embroiled in unity problem long before now and that led them to decades of under-development. It was until they started to address their corrupt mentality that they started growing and forming a United front.

Islam is next to non existent in SA but does that make them more United. No but they appear to be because they are not as corrupt as Nigerians.

Oga of someone is not corrupt somewhere, justice would have been served and the person on the right and the one in the wrong wouldve known their places.

If justice was not quickly served in the bakkassi peninsula, do you have an idea how many people would've died in that region.

But we have more ethnic groups than China and India, even china has a lot of disunity issues, so don't mention China. Places like TIbet, Taiwan and Indian administered Kashmir etc have the same problems we have here.
Yes we may have more than they do and yes they may have their disunity too but ours has gone beyond disunity, it has reached the level of hatred.

No two different ethnic groups can ever form a fully United front but going back in history, we were living side by side without this much hatred and vile but the more our corrupt lifestyle start to affect other tribes, the more the hatred and disunity expands.

Yorubas accusing Igbos of being drug traffickers and into baby factories.

Igbos accusing Yorubas of being ritualists and back stabbers

Everyone is accusing the hausas of being terrorists and the SS of being militants.

But lets dig deep into the causes of all this things you find out they are multiplier effects of corruption.

Today USA has more ethnic groups (albeit second hand) that lay claim to citizenship than any country in the world but they all survive because the corrupt tendency to want to cheat the next person is at the bearest minimum therefore there is this sense of trust towards each other.

When you trust someone, the tendency to want to hurt the person is reduced but it does not mean the person trust you. Which means the person can hurt you. Almost everyone trust Hausa to speak the truth but Hausa don't trust anyone but themselves. That's why you see hausas killing others than others killing Hausa. It is recently that people are starting to distrust them too.

We are not as diverse as India or China.

I would have said our pride or arrogance but when I thought of South Africans who wouldn't see another language as superior to theirs and won't settle for one language to the extent of having up to 11 official languages then I believe it is our corrupt mentality.

Don't even try the cough syrup thing. You may regret it in the future. It dulls baby's brain.

Those things are poisons to the system they are not meant to attack the cause of the cough cos they don't actually cure the cough, they are to deceive the brain by forcing the brain into sleep mode by slowing it's functions down making the brain to cut off attention to the irritation causing the cough. So the brain sleeps naturally till the body system repairs the irritated place but if you take it without coughs, the brain will become confused and keep cutting off attention to pain and other things.

Morning nlanders I will try to make my story very brief....

I Went to make a fix deposit of about #500,000 last week at GTbank then I received a call the next day from the staff that helped me in opening the fixed deposit account that he will like to see me the next day which was on Saturday. He described his place of residence to me and I went to see him.
He told me that a friend of his that is about traveling abroad wants to sell his car that he needed about #160,000 to add to wot he has now and since I came to make a fix deposit he felt I won't be using the money now and I should pls borrow him and he would pay back in 2months time. Although I made it clear to him that I cnt do such a thing moreover u work in a bank and can easily take a loan which from there u would be paying bit by bit.
Pls my question now is does he have access to take my money without my permission??
I once did same for a UBA staff back web I was I school. I went to deposit 25k, which was kind of much for a student back then. So she thought I was some kind of a rich guy or a scammer. She asked of she could use the money and return it later. Since I already have my deposit slip with me duely stamped, I gave her the go-ahead.

She used it without crediting my account and returned it before I could even call her.

The thing is that he must not have credited your account before using it and you must have your deposit slip duly signed and stamped. That is if you want to assist him. With this you can claim you assumed the investment had been made when you didn't get an alert and you already have your deposit slip.

If you give him a go-ahead after the money hits your account, then you are at risk of loosing your money and him being arrested for fraud. They will ask why you didn't come to report when you were alerted for withdrawal instead of investment alert.

Is it an impossible thing to get?
Quite hard but not impossible.

Who or what is preventing them from getting it?
Nobody but themselves because of the next answer

Are they going about getting it the right way?
Absolutely not. Infact they are doing it in the wrongest way and thereby setting themselves up for more hatred and far worse treatment from the other regions.

Is the demand coming at the right time?
No. Infact it is coming at a time it is being seen as being bitter about their loss at the 2015 polls and is rightly so.

Why do they want that which they seek?
They feel marginalised which rightly so albeit a self inflicted marginalization.

If a brilliant child ask these questions what brilliant answers will such child get?
Those are the answers.

Hmmm! I pity the marginalised Igbo folks. But who is marginalising the igbos and how? Dont they hve elected and appointed reps? Were the igbos marginalised during the GEJ administration when their folks were calling the shot? Maybe the igbos need to realise that in Naija the elites "marginalise" the masses in all the regions. So blame the igbo leaders first for your problems and not other tribes.
First I am not an Igbo guy. I am a full blooded Ibadan man. Direct descendant of the war Lord Otinlade of Orin river in Odo-Otin LG in Osun state.

GEJ administration might have been a respite for them (Obviously their leaders are not left out. They should take a chunk of the blame.) but 6six years of GEJ misrule cannot cover for over 35years of Hausa rulership that neglected the region. The north has refinery and other things, SW has the port and other things, even SS has at least 2 ports and other things. What has SE got to show. I can't even think of any.

Yes their greed is to blame for the first coup in the history of the nation which birthed the second coup and the subsequent civil war but ever since the civil war, those people have been silent. Trying to work for the betterment of their tribe. They are the most integrated tribe in the country.

Yes they have their short comings has we Yorubas do ours but for how long are they going to suffer for the mistake they made over 50years ago. It is time we Yorubas start seeing ourselves as independent. How long are we going to live on the past glory of the Awolowos. We should count ourselves lucky for the strategic location of our region in the Nigerian setting. If not, ours might have been worse than the Igbos.

I am a Muslim but with every action and utterances of these northerners I grow to dislike them the more. Those people are parasites feeding off the south and are not the least greatful for it. It is time the south take it's rightful place by using what we have to get what we want. The north has been controlling the whole country with their "population" it's time we make that population useless by controlling the sea.

If not that our Yoruba leaders are thirds like everyother politician in the country, we should be the one demanding to go cos we have almost every thing. We are United, we have the population, we have the brains. Tell me what the north has that we dont?

Back to where we started from. I believe they are taking it too far by being help bent on the sessesion. They could have used it to form an alliance with the SW and the SS and make their demands together but they choose to make enemy of everyone now their quest is a very delicate and complicated one.

Referendum is out of it cos they have no one to support them on that. Yoruba would not support their referendum. The SS is not United and mostly don't really care about their agitation except for a few millitant groups.

War is very dangerous cos there's never an assurance when it comes to war and nobody wants that not even them.

Restructuring is their best bet but they are going about things wrongly.

Initially I thought you guys were doing this to get attention of the whole country to the neglect of your region which was actually working and people like me were getting to see and know the reality of the marginalization but now it seems you guys have seem to have taken it too far and you seem serious and bent on achieving your Biafra.

Why did I say too far?

Did you guys really thought it can be achieved through referendum? I don't think so cos you've not taken realistic steps towards that.

If not through referendum will it be through war?

The last and most disturbing question is that,

What do you think will happen if all fails especially the war path?

What do you think will be the status of your people within the Nigerian space after plunging the nation into it's second civil war in history?

Scotland has been trying to push for referendum for more than 100years.

Barcelona has been doing so since their civil war in the 60years ago.

Medical analysis supports the fact that fasting makes you healthier.

Naturally footballers are advised not to eat within minimum of 2 hours before a match.

Footballers do heavy training a in the morning and they do not eat before the go for training. The last time they would have eaten would most likely be before 7pm the previous night (a very lite food). Now tell me how many hours are there between 7pm and 9am to 9:30am the end of early morning heavy training.

Some people can go all day without eating.

Also are there any guidelines to it.

We Muslims don't just do things without command from God.

If you see a Muslim doing something bad, you should ask these questions

Ask other Muslims(more than 3 muslims) around what Islam (Islam not their personal opinion) says about the situation.

We are one depending on your view of being one?

I am a christian(Christ like) if being a christian is believing and following the teachings and message of Christ but I am not a Christian if being a christian involves believing Christ is child of God or even God.

Fasting don't make you weak it actually makes you strong.

I've seen people fasting and playing "a day cup"(a football competition of a minimum of 8 teams that starts and end the same day).

Mesut Ozil fasts and plays
Eric abidal used to fast while playing for Barca
Samir Nasri also fasts while playing.

Papiikush:
lol, you say you are fasting but you eat first thing in the morning and once it's 7pm you rush to the kitchen. Abeg who is fooling who? grin
The purpose of Muslim Fasting is not to make people suffer.

It is to test if people can fear God's command that we should fast. God commands us to fast and drop all sinful acts during the month.

Who will fear God and obey his command?
Who will fear God by dropping those things he likes to do a lot(either sinful or not) for the fear and respect of God.

If you command me to do something and I obey by carrying out your command to the last detail without questions asked, then it means I fear you.

Also it is to make you feel a little bit of what people who don't have food (during afternoon of your fasting) feel and learn to appreciate the happiness you feel when you have during the breaking of fast.

With that fasting you're mentally stable enough to know what it feels for someone to be hungry. (The poor)

You know what it feels to have food (no matter how small) and not be able to eat. (The sick)

You know what it feels to not be able to retaliate when you're wronged. (The weak and vulnerable)

If only people can observe fasting according to it's teachings, the world would be a better place.
