You sound like how obasanjo explained things when he was the president.
That was how he failed woefully.
The way I and Obasanjo sound is irrelevant but the question is is it the reality?

Obj didn't fail woefully generally, Obj failed woefully on road infrastructure because he wanted to, not because that was not the case. What I meant is that what I stated and what obj stated is not an excuse for failure. Anyone who state that as the reason for his failure should be stoned.

My own belief is that not everything can be done at the same time but at least we should see the ones that Obj did and completed, None that I can think of.

It is different from this administration. Lag-Ibadan in on going, airport road has been given go ahead and many more that GEJ couldn't complete that are being continued.

The government is still quite young compare to Obj's and GEJ's govt. Again I restate that while It is not too bad to put them on their toes, we shouldn't blame a state for the inability of the federal just because they belong to the same party.

I understand.

But apc campaigned to us that having apc at state and federal level would make thing easy.
Yes it should make things easy but you'll don't expect everything to be fixed overnight. If this one is fixed, another one will be exposed in the east, north, South south etc.

You are more concerned about that road while some people are more concerned about the airport road. Everyone has their own area of concern but the government cannot fix everyone's area of concern overnight.

We have to be realistic.

While it's still good that people are giving it publicity to bring it to the attention of the government, we have stop all this petty atitude of blaming the wrong authority.

Kathmandu:
That is an Illiterate man who doesn't know anything written on that banner because he sees it as one of the numerous posters that litters the roads in Lagos.

If Muslims can be so holy the way they are diligent with their prayers this world will be a fun and sweet.

A Reverend Fr told us a story then of how a Muslim man was pursuing someone to kill and he when time for prayer reached, he stopped and Prayed then continued the race to kill that person.

Read Passport of Mallam Ilia for a related story
lol dat Rev fr can lie o. And you were so gullible to sit down and be Fed with that rubbish.

So the man stopped to pray (5minutes minimum) after praying, he resumed his Chase and nobody stopped him?

Even if they couldn't stop him before he started praying, nobody taught it for to seize his weapon while he was praying.

Also the person he was chasing could not escape while he was praying or even call for support.

This are the types of lies and negative propaganda they feed you in your churches about Islam that make you loose your objectivity.

Do you have to be brainless to be a christian?

You're right, it is their state but if the federal government don't give a go ahead for construction, the state government will be tying down their fund.

They are not going to make it commercially available
It depends on your definition of commercial.

Definitely it will be rented out to organizations/countries planning to launch satelites cos this if successfully tested would provide a safer and more reliable option to a lauchpad.

This can effectively put countries with launch pads around the world out of business. They also don't have to pay taxes on incomes generated from it's rentage for now cause I don't think there's any tax law on private launch pads anywhere in the world let alone a flying launch station if i may call it that.

PoliticsRe: President Buhari Vs Goodluck Jonathan's Mid Term Assessment Scores & Criteria by jomoh: 8:52am On May 30, 2017
ochejoseph:
when we talk objectively there is no need for insults if truly you mean well for Nigeria the reason why the crude price excuse will not fly is simple

1.Jonathan had a crude oil price of 110 but he had to contend with a huge subsidy regime which the APC stopped him from removing

2. Now Buhari has no high crude prices but he does not have the huge burden of subsidy which is now been paid by ordinary Nigerians.
1. Crude oil price excuse that is beyond his(PMB) control cannot not fly but APC excuse that is under the presidents control can fly abi. wehdon sir.

Was APC holding his hand front totally removing the subsidy.

2. So the subsidy magically disappeared immediately PMBs APC came in. Not even a credit to the man that thought it right to remove the subsidy.

Mr joseph, barcanista might not be in most people's good books due to his write ups but I am very sure I've ever seen anything as biased and blantantly lopesided as this from him.

Everything is not black and white and appraisal of government is much more complex(i know you know better) than the rubbish you wrote up there but you intentionally expunged the complexities and circumstances that contribute to the rating to satisfy your selfish objective.

Complexities and circumstances like:

1. What kind of economy did the two of them inherit from their predecessor

2. What was their contribution to improve or worsen.

3. What was the external reserve inherited by the two of them.

4. What was the excess crude oil reserve

5. What are the basic economic indices inherited before jumping into these conclusions.

Venuzuela had a better economy than Nigeria as at the time GEJ was handing over to PMB. Now that country is on the brink of total collapse while we are gradually coming out of the mess GEJ left us with but you choose to ignore that part.

You choose to ignore the fact that Nigeria was borrowing to pay federal workers before GEJ left but under PMB, we were not only paying convenetly but also borrowing states to pay.

You choose to ignore that GEJ met external reserve close to $60bn and left less than $25bn Squandering $35bn during an oil boom.

You choose to ignore that GEJ met a docile Bokoharam but left vibrant a Bokoharam controlling Nigerian territory.

You choose to ignore the fact that GEJ govt never did anything during Ebola rather they allowed Patrick Sawyer enter this country despite they knowing that there had been outbreak of Ebola in his country and other. Infact it was Lagos state that single handedly curbed the menace.

In fact after reading your trash up there, my gut could do nothing but regurgitate this quote from Billy Madison:

".....What you've just wrote is one of the most insanely idiotic things I've ever read. At no point in your, rambling, Incohenrent post were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone reading this thread is now dumber for having read it. I award you no point, and may God have mercy on your poor soul."

PMB might not be performing up to expectation but any sane person that knows the story of Venezuela will give PMB credit for where Nigeria is today.

Christianity EtcRe: My Pastor Ordered Me Out Of The Church During Sunday Service by jomoh: 2:57pm On May 28, 2017
edidiongmichael:
What Happened To Me On Sunday Service In Church

What's your candid view on this?

Recently I joined a church, I know how to play piano but not really well. The church has a standard pianist that plays literally on every church's event. When they discovered I knew how to play, they gave me the opportunity to be playing at least 2 times a month. Honestly, I didn't see myself as a church worker because I've never been to their meeting before. I only play when they tell me to otherwise I stay at the congregation. Last Sunday, I wore a shirt with a suit trouser and a sandals to church, then I wasn't expected to tuck in my shirt with a sandals. When I got to church, the pastor ordered me out of the church to tuck in before coming inside and instructed the ushers to not let me in until I tucked in my shirt. The church was still on and I got so ashamed and embarrassed. Everybody's eyes were on me during that time.

As confused as I was, I angrily left the church that moment to another nearby church.

Then I started thinking, Do we really have to tuck in our shirts to show how holy we are in church? What do you think had prompted the pastor to order me out? Do Christians have a dressing code? Will I be judged on the final day for letting loose my shirt to church? What's your view on this?
Contrary to what others have been saying, I believe it is a form of mind control employed by these pastors.

He may claim and find one excuse or the other for what he did, but the bottom line is that if you had gone back to that church, your ego would have been defeated and the public shaming and embarrassment would continue. By that you become one of his numerous "worshipers" that lie down for him to walk over and perpetually until you break free, you become one of his "slaves" at his beck and call.

Congratulations for calling his bluff and breaking free from the potential mind controller.

One person with 18 houses?
There are hundreds of this kind of estates in Abuja. The last time I was there I had a discussion with some people in a cab about the ownership of those estates. Those people were saying they are owned by business men but I made them understand that no real business man with a clean wealth will tie down his capital in the name of an estate that will not be occupied in probably 10years or more.

Even the building that houses the head office of dangote group is rented and shared with other tenants.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: How Do You Answer The Question "Sell Me This Pen " In A Sales Interview? by jomoh: 8:00am On May 23, 2017
Laurele:
You appeal to the person's taste in colours, and what exactly the person needs the pen for, as colours of pen varies for different purposes. Like in the military, a commandant uses black pen, pharmacist uses green pen for prescriptions n jots, a teacher will need a red pen for marking, so it all depends on the purpose. At this point in time, the colour is solely the person's choice as people have different taste in colours n needs
The written colour is not different. The written colour is the same, only the case is different which was red and blue.

I latter realised what the man was trying to make me do was sell Coke to him while he already has Pepsi.

Thiat is Gaboon Viper (Bitis gabonica) right there.
I hope they did not kill it believing it was a non-venomous python.

A very DEADLY snake. Poisonous like mad. Not because the venom is so toxic but because it injects lots of venom when it bites.
For large grown ones one-thousand of the amount it can inject biting once is enough to kill a human being.

But is rather slow & less aggressive compared to other fellow African vipers like puff adder.
Bros, either very toxic or not na viper we dey talk here o.

Yoruba will say "ibon la'pati ko la'pati talo le je ki wan do'ju e ko ohun"
