Exactly my point.

The same system practiced in the north is the same with the Arabs. That is why to kill terrorism in the Arab nation will be very hard because for every victim of terrorism, there are dozens of interconnected families that will be hurt and rooting for revenge but kill a southerner, you will be surprised that even his immediate family may not attend his funeral.

It is very hard to penetrate them but once you do, whatever ideology you introduce to them will spread like wildfire.

Bravo!!!

But know there are still some of us who are brave.

Although few,we refused to be cowered.
Believe me we are not cowards in the south an average southerner is braver than an average northerner relatively speaking.

The only problem we have is the way our society is set up.

The society of the northern elite is set up in such a way that everyone is intertwined and interconnected in one way or the other. A governor in Sokoto can be the cousin of the governor in Niger while also being the in-laws to the presidents and a host of other powerful people in the country. When pressures are mounted on you from all sorts of angle, you're bound to buckle at some point.

Go and study their community well, the ones that are morally upright and ready to fight corruption to a halt do not belong to the traditional elite society. They are the ones who had struggled to get to where they are. They are the ones who had seen it all as the downtrodden in the society. They are the ones who had seen firsthand what corruption can do to the society. They are the ones who have no ties and loyalty to the "royal" society. They come from the middle and lower classes of the society e.g. Ibrahim Magu, Ahmadu Alli, Nuhu Ribadu. The moment you start hearing that a son or daughter of this people is getting married to a member of the traditional "royal" society, know that they will soon start to compromise on their values.

The properties are been forfeited because they know they won't be prosecuted further. That is why they are putting up little or no fight.

If they know there's the possibility of them been prosecuted further, they will fight dirtier than they are doing presently. they won't mind burning down the country rather than loose their freedom.

Presently the country is not organised enough to contain their criminal tendencies. Their cases are on ground already so it can be pulled out against them anytime they are running for a post.

Remember Obanikoro is returning money already. It is because he knows he won't be prosecuted further but the fact is that evidences are against him that he took government money and he is returning it. If Olisah Metuh knew all this from the start, he would have gently accepted to return his loot instead of suffering himself in kuje prison.

Esteemed ladies and gentlemen of this great forum. This is a thread to gauge the general feeling of the hardworking, tax paying, responsible citizens of our country. Kindly state your own take on the planned protest scheduled for the 6th of February nationwide. State whether or not you believe a protest should be held on the said date and why.
I will not bore you with the retorics of 2baba benefited from this and that. It is an argument for another day.

With the country bedevilled with so many different security issues from biafra groups, to Fulani herdsmen, boko haram, millitants the Shiites all of which we all know as Nigerians, are been sponsored by Nigerian politicians for different benefitial reasons.

This is what I will ask. who are the sponsors of the protest.

Occupy Nigeria, we know. It was sponsored by a group formed for that purpose.

US protest against D.Trump, we know. It is supported and sponsored by ACLU.

Chibok Girls? we know them. led by ezekwesili.

iStandwith2baba? who are the sponsors? He claimed some people came to him and he accepted. Just like that?

WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?
let us know them before we start assisting boko haram, Fulani herdsmen, Millitant apologists to protest.

Am not against the protest cos it is long overdue but who are the organisers.

I remember the story on front page of Shiite girl arrested/kidnapped by the soldiers. She believed she was protesting against the so called oppression of her religion but in actual fact, did she really know that the people she is supporting have been reported to be security threat to the state in the past? Now her mother is left alone to fight for her release.

my Opinion though.

Christianity EtcCSO Writes Open Letter To Father Mbaka, TB Joshua, Others Over Apostle Suleman by jomoh(op): 10:55pm On Jan 31, 2017

The executive secretary of a civil society in Nigeria, Centre for Social Justice, Equity and Transparency (CESJET), Ikpa Isaac has written an open letter to Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka, Temitope Joshua and other men of God in Nigeria.

Ikpa in his letter called on the men of God to intervene and caution other clerics against the use of hate speeches in Nigeria.

Ikpa's open letter comes on the heels of the comment made by the founder of Omega Fire Ministries Apostle Johnson Suleman calling on his church members to kill any Fulani herdsman that tries to attack them.

Open Letter to the Spiritual Director, Adoration Ministry, Enugu State, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka and the Founder, Synagogue Church Of All Nations, (SCOA) Pastor TB Joshua and other anointed men of God in Nigeria on the topic; “Hate sermons: Urgent need for prayers and understanding,” in the light of prevailing religious tensions In Nigeria.

My Dearest Lordships;

1. We send you fraternal and warm greetings from our secretariat in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and pray Almighty God to keep blessing you with strength and wisdom as you serve the quest of Nigerians and the rest of mankind for salvation.

2. By way of brief introduction, Center For Social Justice, Equity and Transparency (CESJECT) is a Non-governmental, Non-Profit, Non-partisan and Non-religious organization based in Nigeria. We are basically concerned with advocacy for social justice, equity and fairness as well as monitor ethics of transparency in public governance.

3. We have observed with bewilderment recent events in our dear country, Nigeria and after a thorough analysis, we have come to the painful conclusion that current happenings in Nigeria are quite unpleasant. And there is the imperative for collective actions to nip in the bud, any possibility of potential mass conflicts and crisis likely to sprout from it.

4. My Lordships, you are already aware Nigeria is on the cliffhanger at the moment; burdened by agitations, mutual distrust and suspicions, viral criminality as well as crises of all dimensions, which in some cases, have mutated into violent conflicts.

5. The federal government of Nigeria led by President Muhammadu Buhari has been strained and overstretched in its attempts to contain the crises in different parts of the country in the face of dwindling economic fortunes.

Therefore, we were perplexed to notice the infusion of a delicate and extremely sensitive issue like religion into the troubling afflictions of the country.

6. We consider it particularly very urgent to write you this open letter based on our understanding of your respectful status in Christendom in Nigeria.

We are equally encouraged by our implied assumption that you are aware of certain supposed “Men of God” who have stoke the fire of discord and overheated the polity with bile sermons, utterances and discussions from the pulpit which have a strong potency to spark religious crisis of genocidal magnitude in Nigeria.

7. Initially, this organization was not too worried with the divisions publicly manifest in the disorderliness, in-fighting and leadership tussles which have characterized the Body of Christ in Nigeria in recent times.

We had hoped the concerned leaders would devote time and energy to resolve these internal squabbles in the nearest future in the interest of Christianity.

8. But we cannot pretend not to know that this negative trend has not only spiraled outside of the Body of Christ in Nigeria, but pulling the strings very hard in attempts to destroy Nigeria by pitching members of one faith against another.

9. On the front burner of national issues today is the acerbic sermons and utterances credited to Apostle Johnson Suleiman of the Omega Ministries, which has generated very fearful and deadly interpretations between adherents of Christianity and Islam across the nooks and crannies of Nigeria. He is not alone in these hate and inciting sermons from the altar.

10. But Apostle Suleiman’s inciting comments happen to be the trouble at the moment. Initially, he opposed the Bill on prohibiting extreme religious views or preachment sponsored in Kaduna state and placed a curse of death on Governor Nasir el-Rufai. But it never bothered anybody because it had personal effect.

But invoking the powers of God Almighty to herd Christians into killing and beheading all Fulani herdsmen at sight is not only ungodly, but mocks the thinking of orthodox Christianity and reflects more the thoughts and actions of Nigeria’s external enemies bent on destabilizing the country by causing crisis of genocidal proportion in Nigeria, worse than Somalia or Sudan. In his latest outing, we can see a nexus in his still opposition to the Bill.

11. Calling for the mass killings of members of an ethnic group- the Fulani herdsmen, who pasture their cattle because of the transgressions of a few criminals suspected to be their kinsmen, is tantamount to exterminating a whole race.

This action would also be interpreted in Christian ethos as battling against flesh and blood, which true servants of God, (including you) have repeatedly warned us that we cannot win any war against the spirit.

12. Similarly, we deem it extremely bad faith the tendency of some anointed and venerated clergy, who are advocating for the extra-judicial killing of Boko Haram terrorists in the presumption that they launched war against Christianity. But the same Boko Haram insurgents also killed fellow Muslims in their rage of raids.

The bickering in the aftermath of the split in Boko Haram leadership between Abubakar Shekau and Abu Musab Al Barnewi sufficiently placed this notion in public domain. But in all, does it not betray the essence of being a good brother's keeper, love of neighbor and respect for sanctity of human life as decreed by God Almighty for anointed men of God to mount the pulpit to preach internecine wars with the religious card?

13. We believe Apostle Suleiman is acting the script of external enemies by inciting Christians in Nigeria into a religious war. And he goes further to blackmail the federal government into shielding himself by instigating Christians to perceive his impending arrest and interrogation by security agents to unearth the masked forces behind his actions as persecution of the church and Christians in Nigeria.

14. My Lordships, may you understand that it is germane for Apostle Suleiman and all other such “Men of God” to know they are not above laws of Nigeria and should be humble enough to submit themselves to security scrutiny. His confessions would either enable security agencies investigate and track people who are destabilization agents in Nigeria for external forces or exonerate him.

15. We plead your understanding in using your respected positions and statuses in talking to your congregations, adherents and followers not to be hoodwinked by the likes of Apostle Suleiman and such “Men of God” into deploying the anger they have deliberately instigated in Nigerian Christians to shield themselves from probe of their suspicious and ungodly acts.

16. We feel compelled to write you because of the respect, honour, integrity and acceptance you have earned amongst Christians and Muslims alike, within and outside Nigeria. We perceive in you, anointed men of God with the best credentials and wisdom to save the body of Christ at this crucial time on this sensitive, but potentially explosive religious incitement.

We are further encouraged by your non- discriminatory roles as father to both the orphans, the vulnerable and the widows, much as banking on your vast knowledge of humanitarian complexities countries face when such religious matters are allowed to explode in violent clashes to promptly.

17. If you kindly devote attention to this cause, you would save Nigeria from a clearly masterminded plot to destroy our country by enemies waiting in the wings to fuel genocide in the country on the platform of religion.

Acting thus, you shall also save the entire body of Christ from disintegrating and embarrassing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who laid down His life for us.

18. My Lordships’ would wish to remember that the break-up of Nigeria was predicted for 2015, but the Almighty God saw us through the trying times, but the same forces have not relented. Having studied the sociological psychology of Nigerians on religion, they have realized sparking a religions crisis would instantly actualize this prophesied break-up.

The devil is surely at work and we must put on our shield of prayers and not guns to overcome this moment of torment to defeat the devil and his agents.

19. My Lordships, God Almighty has bestowed the onus of avoiding the looming calamity in the land in your hands, as His ordained servants.

Please, do not let His children down, to inspire the Western world to laugh and mock us, by allowing the crisis to erupt. Your congregations and Nigerians indeed, listen and heed your words and advice, which beckons to your immediate intervention to save your dear country from ruination.

It will be unfortunate if Christians allow themselves to be used as the vehicle for bloodshed that would lead to genocide, hunger and suffering of the ordinary masses of Nigeria who are already pauperized and burdened in several ways.

20. We appreciate you for the time you have spared in reading this open epistle and we pray that may Almighty God give you the wisdom, foresight and strength to keep serving him and humanity in His Grace to the best of your ability.

21. Thank you very much and May Almighty God continue to bless you, Christians and the Church in Nigeria.

I will advice you tell him to go for the small label.

Reason being that they are small and in the event your boyfriend happens to blow, he can use his fame to muscles his way out.

Though big labels are well connected and they have a wider and more reliable network but they are all thieves and by the time your boyfriend realises that, they will use that same connection and network to blackmail him and tie him down to another contract.

They are big and as you know they have experience so They know how to block all the loopholes his lawyer might want to make them insert in the contract.

They are big already so They have little to loose and by that they will compromise very little. Small labels also want to go big but they need a good artist to make them big and by that they will compromise a lot.

Bottom line, it's very complex but your boyfriends interest must be really protected and that is something I cannot start writing about. Also there are lots your boyfriend has to know before signing his career out in the name of contract. I cannot start writing am lazy in writing.

Maybe they know better than to be shouting bluemurder over the news media.

The VP cum acting president has all the information about the security intelligence of the country. So maybe he knows better than what we know but as a leader, he is not only a Christian right now but also a Muslim, a Jew, a traditionalist and whatever religion being practised in the country.

Speaking against a religion like everyone is calling for will be morally and ethically wrong and against the constitution he swore to protect.

He cannot condemn the pastors for what they are saying because it will appear as if he is supporting the killing and not because the pastors are right.

Condemning the killing of Christians by Fulani herdsmen(not Muslims) will have been the best thing to do but the fact that he is keeping quiet could mean he has information that we or the pastors don't have that may be showing something contrary to what the pastors and everyone thinks.

Yes that is what is called a reprisal attack. Not one pastor comanding people to start killing.

No human being needs any other human to tell him/her that he should defend himself. Survival is the most basic natural instinct of a human being.

Commanding people to start killing in a society that has law is a No No.

Some will argue that he commanded his body gaurds but are his body guards police officers or law enforecement officers.

He even went as far as saying anyone that mistakenly enters the church should be killed. Imagine mistakenly not intentional. not even there to arm anyone but because he is a Fulani. What if he is a Christian that came to worship or are there no Fulani Christians.

What the guy did is wrong and and we should all condemn it. That does not mean we are encouraging the Fulani criminals or even in support of FG for their slow response. Am sure the DSS would have warned him seriously. I can bet it with anybody that the guy wouldn't be talking about fulani herdsmen anytime soon due to the warnings he would have received.

Did you notice the silence of Osinbajo.

He knows the truth. He is presently Nigerian president so all the intelligence report is in his hands. He cannot condemn the pastor cos he will be seen as supporting the Fulani herdsmen and he cannot praise the pastor because he knows what he said was wrong.

Mind u, i'm not in support of violence, but enough is enough.
They have attacked and kill people in delta. you can search online.

No one should be in support of violence not especially a pastor leading a church.

If he thinks calling for people to attack and kill as a form of reprisal is the answer than he should be ready to dance to the tune of it's consequence or live in hiding like shekau.

Remember shekau and boko haram attacks are reprisal attacks for killing their leader.

3. PMB's FG gave the guarantee, thus Ambode accessed the loan and has continued
Lagos-badagry-seme is a federal road.

Any road linking two states or just exiting a state is a federal road. They are called Trunk A road.

Any road leading to any federal government property is a federal road. e.g. Apapa port road, tincan port road, airport roads.

Like I said earlier the state govt under Fashola undertook the responsibility to do it because the state has much to gain from the road in the short run than the FG.

The FG blocked the loan because they didn't want it constructed by an opposition APC govt.

Oshodi-Akaka express way was done by Lagos govt despite it been a federal road same way ambode is planning to do the oshodi-abule egba-sango otta road.

Kashamu cannot be extradited until a competent court in Nigeria says so. American court does not have jurisdiction over Nigeria. If the US justice department and the NDLEA are so convinced of Kashamu's guilt, they should institute an extradition case against him and let the court decide.

And for those commenting without understanding the history of the case, I urge you all to Google and read the two separate judgements delivered by British courts as regard this same case. Extraditing Kashamu illegally to go and answer another case in the US will be a violation of the principle of "double jeopardy". In law, there must be an end to prosecution.
Brother thank you for this. I really don't know the details of the case beyond the story made into film Orange is the new black but your explanation makes for a sensible reflection.

I always knew it was wrong for a souverign state to just bundle her own citizen to another country without benefit of doubt.

Guilty or not, China will not even entertain such. Even if you present them with the most glaring evidence.

If the British didn't extradite him then why should we? Because someone powerful hates him so much? unfortunately I really like the person that hates him so much but not more than my country.

I may not like Kashamu as a person but he is a Nigerian no matter what. The only thing I can sign off a Nigerian for extradiction is corruption. Its only because it affects my country and her people negatively.

Suleiman is truly deep poo.

If this is true, it is only by Gods grace that Nigeria will avoid a war and it will forever be on record of history that one Apostle John Suleiman was the provocateur.

Even though the herdsmen has had their cups filled to the brim and the FG did not help matters with it's docile approach to the potentially dangerous issue, Apostle John Suleiman -a leader of a church with thousands of followers and a worldwide reach- will have landed himself on the wrong side of history by allowing his emotions betray him live on television.

Those illiterates calling for the head of elrufai for his 2012 (4years Ago) tweet that had no direct influece on the present should ask what happened to Ahmadenijad of Iran when he said if a single Iranian is killed, lots of American lifes will follow. NOTHING happened to him. It is one thing to threaten your unknown potential enemy -Nobody in particular- but to instruct/direct/command the killing of a known but perceived enemy -Particularly Fulani herdsmen- is another thing especially in a state that has a constitution.

For the clearance of doubt, calling for a group of people to be killed at sight is not self defence.

It is an invitation to anarchy. A clear declaration of war

With the recent developments I can't but remember the prediction of one Apostle Olabayo or Olubayo few years back that Boko Haram will be defeated but a more deadly group will arise if care is not taken.

Modified: To those quoting me that Suleiman never said they should kill Fulani herdsmen coming up with different statements they claim he said, here is the video and at exactly 0:48 sec of the video listen carefully and tell yourselves the truth instead of lying to yourselves.

Did they lie against Arab concerning the way they treat women
YES they did because they neither understand nor respected their culture and religion.

Even if they don't, did their women complain to them? NO.

Have they(Arabs) changed anything since then? NO. cos it's their culture and religion you can't change it.

Why has their campaign changed from claiming they(Arabs) are women abusers to they are terrorists? Because they(Arabs) refused their perverted lifestyle of degrading women in the name of women empowerment and freedom.

I bet you didn't realise the campaign strategy has changed.

It changed because they couldn't penetrate the Arabs. Now they are smoking them out so that they can mix with the west and learn their culture. After causing trouble in their country with their over meddling, they are turning them back into the troubled region.

higherpower:
It's uncalled for to go with 30 lawyers! Jeremiah appeared and spoke to King Zedekiah alone. Samuel met King Saul alone. Nathan confronted David alone. Elijah dealt with Ahab alone. Moses only went to Pharoah with Aaron as spokesman because he was a stammerer. Jesus spoke with Pilate alone.

When you do this Sir, it negates God's ability and Power to deliver. ''Thus saith the Lord; cursed be a man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departheth from the LORD'' - Jer 17:5.

''But the Lord is with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore my prosecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall greatly be ashamed; for they shall not prosper; their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten. -- Jer 20:11

''But I will deliver thee in that day, saith the Lord: and thou shall not be given into the hand of the men of whom thou art afraid.
For I will surely deliver thee, and thou shall not fall by the sword, but thy life shall be for a prey unto thee: because thou hast put thy trust in me saith the LORD - Jer 39:17-18.

With all these, You don't need any Lawyer for now!
The guy already have alot of ammunition in his arsenal(bible) why is he afraid again.

He must be a man of little faith.
