HiddenShadow:What has anything in the comment got to do with the Afonjas. If anything The so called Afonjas are the least greedy bunch of the whole. Never have they caused trouble for any successive government just because they lost the seat. Their inclusion is just to fulfill all righteousness and prevent all self righteous people like yourself that seek to blame the other without blaming themselves. |
THE EXPANSION OF THE UNIVERSE |
Ahmadgani:You're very correct we are in a fix but the kind of fix that gives momentary peace. We should not be in a hurry to throw that peace away at this critical time in our journey to economic recovery by asking the president to resign. We should remember the north is watching and the various (wicked) vested interests are ready to pounce at any opportunity. Though it shouldnt ordinarily concern the South because they (the wicked interests from the north) end up damaging the Northern region but it eventually affects the south that is majorly dependent on the North for most food items. In the mean time, they should let us enjoy the peaceful atmosphere At least we have not hear Fani Kayode and pastors rant about the Kaduna Killings that PMB is encouraging it (Meanwhile the killing it is still ongoing) The vandalisation has stopped and Osinbajo is even allowed into the SS regions to hold meetings The SW is quiet because Osinbajo is in charge. The Northern elite seem quiet because they are busy strategizing on how and who to replace PMB while the have-nots are waiting for orders from the elite. Biafra agitation has lost momentum ever since PMB left the shores of the nation. Even Fayose has declared ceasefire and now seem to have time for proper governance of his state or so(Alimodu Sherrif struggle comes to mind) BTW being a PMB suppoter, I am still not disappointed in his handling of the economy. I am super Ok with it even though there is still enough room for improvements. I am only disappointed in his handling of the Politics but then again, on this aspect is where his old age is letting him down because to whip corrupt criminals into your line of thinking requires real energy especially when they have enough loot to bring down your reign. His wife coming out against him is another aspect of the politics which i don't agree with him on. I have learnt to separate politics from the real issue of the economy. These two aspects, is where people still either mischievously or ignorantly muddle things up. |
MsFaith:Just pretend then leave them an go somewhere far where they both cannot find you. They will be forced to join hands and look for you. |
Ahmadgani:Wisdom they say, is above justice. I used to wonder what kind of assertion was that, until recent events and occurrences. Its unfortunate that as Nigerians and black men generally, we seem to forget things easily. Nigeria is a very volatile and tribal-ly segregated country. If the Hausas get to the Position of power, they want to ensure they rule for at least 8years, same with the Igbos(if and when they get their) same with the Yorubas and the South South. When ever they cant achieve that, they tend to want to ensure that the other tribe that sits on the throne does not rule in peace. Typical Example: Yar'adua died on the throne, the north vowed to make Nigeria ungovernable for GEJ and they did. GEJ got defeated and PMB is enthroned, the SS resumed pipeline vandalization. Peoples hatred for PMB has blinded them to the point that they cant even see clearly what PMB is doing for the country by refusing to resign. Yes PMB is too sick to govern but i strongly disagree that he is too greedy to resign. In actual fact, it is the north that is too greedy to allow him to resign. The man has been living like a prisoner since. It is obvious that the complains of some Nigerians that his government has been hijacked by some cabal is true but the man knows too well that resignation was not an option as long as the cabals are involved. Not that he doesn't know what to do but because he doesn't have the strength to do them. The only wise thing to do in other to cage the cabal and the north, is to embark on a sick leave and hand over to his vice. That is the only way he can respect the constitution at the same time, clipping the wings of the cabal. Presently, everyone in the country is happy. The North is happy that they are still ruling The South South and South East is happy that PMB is not the one calling the shots The South West is happy Their son is the one in charge even if its in acting capacity. THIS IS A WIN WIN SITUATION FOR EVERYONE SO WHY CALL FOR HIS RESIGNATION AND THROW THE COUNTRY INTO PROBLEM BTW I am a PMB supporter but Nigeria first and if this is what will allow peace to reign and keep everyone happy, then so be it. #MY OPINION THOUGH. |
BUHARIISCURSED:We don't have to make noise over the media by threatening the unity of the country before we achieve our aim. 2009 we supported a particular region who ended up hatig us for turning back on their own because he wanted to sell the country to the highest bidder. This is our own person and we are watching with keen interest. We don't make noise when there's no cause for it. |
Working Minister |
FirstLadyNaija:The human law doesn't say anything about anyone that jokes with Jesus only Gods law does. The human law does not forgive Only Gods law preaches forgiveness. Audu Makori is a trained lawyer and he knows this. Elrufai breached Gods law let him face God for forgiveness. Audu Makori has breached Human law so let him face the Human law for judgement. If the law forgives Audu Makori for his action, Shekau too can come out and apologize and the law must forgive him too. Their crimes may be different but the fact will be that they both commited crime and apologised. I am not saying he is totally liable but if the. DSS finds him cupable after their investigation and questioning then he should be charged to court to face the law. |
PastorAji:Chai. at last dem Don get dis boy from village. Your brain must be seriously paining you right now. Eyah kpele. Make sure you inform them at home o. Seun Lalasticlala we have a sick nairalander. |
PastorAji:So of I get you correctly, I have to go through everyone's comments on a thread before replying them? Abi what is dis one saying? |
Erngie:I don't don't see that as pride but as lack of professionalism. Coming from the sector he came from where things are done mostly with verbal agreement and not legally documented contracts he might not know or understand the real consequence of not honoring a contract. Also promotion of movies are mostly done by the owners of the movie where he's coming from with the co tributing actor's mostly not concerned with the promotion aspect. One might excuse him for thinking he is less concerned about the promotion. Lastly I see it as someone not been ambitious enough or not wanting to step out of his comfort zone because of he really cares, he will be willing to learn about the sector of the industry he is moving to. |
cstr100: aloziedaya:I am a Yoruba man but their is nothing I love to see than a truly United Nigeria where every Nigeria irrespective of tribe is respected according to their strengths and limitations. I want you to view my comment with an open mind before you write it off as "wetin concern you" or "hypocrite". That being said, I think the igbo man has got a very wrong notion of what integration is all about. Like you rightly pointed out an Igbo man in the north tries as much as possible to appear more Hausa than the real Hausa man. In the west, they want to appear more Yoruba than the Yorubas. Ordinarily, there shouldn't be anything wrong with it because it is not restricted to the Igbo tribe alone. We have Yorubas that prefers to be called an Hausa (i have them in my family) while some prefers to associate with the Igbos. We also have them in Hausa. It is not restricted to the Igbo tribe but the larger percentage resides with the Igbo tribe. I must tell you, while it is absolutely absolutely not a bad idea to love your neighbour to that extent but that is not what gives you power in a multi tribal society like Nigeria. What gives you power is your language. Just like currency. The larger the number of people demanding for your currency, the more control you have over them. Its just a basic rule in every area of life. The more people demand for what you have, the more power and control you have over them. Same goes with Language. Language is power and with power comes with respect. An average educated European man learns to speak English. That zealone gives the native English speakers more power and control over the affairs of the world. An average French man understands this, that is why an average French stranger will speak French to you first and when you speak English to him he most probably will not answer you. Not because he does not understand English but because he doesn't consider English as being superior to french. Same goes for an Hausa man. An Hausa man will first speak his Hausa language to you despite the fact that he knows you are not Hausa. The French even goes as far as having French learning program in almost every country of the world. South Africa has alot of ethnic groups just like Nigeria but their divide is not as pronunced as that of Nigeria simply because all the major tribes of the country doesn't see the language of the other tribe as being superior. This in turn, commands mutual respect amongst the major tribes. They have 11 languages as their official language. Naturally the Hausas and fulanis are more in population and geographical presence than the Yorubas but what gives the Yorubas the power to be able to stand toe to toe with the hausa is the world wide acceptability of the language. Some part of the world like the southern America even sees the Yoruba as a religion. An average Igbo man does not help matters on the language either. They see the language as a trading tool and secrete that should not be taught to an outsider. They see an outsider struggling to understand or speak their language instead of them to correct the person and appreciate him/her, they laugh and make fun of the person. I think this idea needs to change because the concept of trust goes beyond you being able to speak my language it involves me being able to speak your language so I know you can't have hide things from me with your language. You mentioned No Yoruba or Hausa man owns properties in the easy. How so you own a property in the midst of people you don't understand their language and are not even willing to tutor you on it. People say Yoruba language is easy but the fact is that Yoruba language is one of the hardest in the world but the attitude of the natives speakers towards the learners makes it easy to learn and understand. For example I fell in love with fynos music and particularly had his track "connect" on a constant repeat on my phone when it was released. My Igbo neighbours at that time heard it first on my phone and requested that I send it to their phone which I did but when I asked him what Phyno was saying in the song, he gave a short and vague explanation that made me loose interest in wanting to know in the first place. What I think and believe what the Igbo tribe needs to be respected is to promote the speaking of Igbo as a language and when this is done? watch the Igbo tribe sour high and practically rule the world with their industrious nature. |
plainol:Really? Then lets look at it this way. It is the terrorists that kill people not the innocent immigrants her father banned. Not even a single citizen of those banned countries has ever been caught as a terrorist attacking the US. Osama bin Laden was a Saudi Arabian citizen but Saudi Arabia was not banned. |
malel1:So amongst the 36states only Ekiti is the opposition state? emmykk:It is a loan. It is not statutory allocation as the governor is trying to make people believe. He must have said that intentionally to whip up sentiment like this that FG is withholding what rightfully belongs to his state. Nothing concerns the Supreme court in this. Even if he complies, the giver of the loan reserves the right to either give or not. |
hilaomo:50cent is by far richer than lil Wayne o. 50 is one of the richest rappers o. Forget all the noice lil Wayne makes. BTW am not talking about song feature. I'm talking about appearance at social events and the $1m is for both Floyd and 50 with Floyd obviously taking the larger share. |
kendrick9:Mr man this is a mere appearance. 50cent was hotter than mayweather when he was called to Nigeria back then to perform, his whole G-unit crew was paid $50k. Kim kardasian was called to host Dare art alade show, she was paid between $250k-$500k. Those were people that came to actually do a Job. Floyd is not being called to fight at rumours, he is been called to just appear and have a nice time. Some of this A list Hollywood artists collect far less that $100k for appearance so Floyd is not different. An artist that charges up to $20million per movie can charge as low as $250k per episode of season shows like Game of Thrones and shooting an episode of a show can last up to a week or more. So appearance for a night at a club can even be done free depending on the relationship between them. Research on how they pay in Hollywood and you will be amazed. |
angelTI:In a business where one person can spend as much as N15million per night. The maximum they can spend to host those two is $1million approximately N350million They will recoup it in maximum two month. |
wow Simply brilliant |
Unimaginable123:Learn to read and comprehend before commentting. Go back to what you quote and read again. If you still don't get it, come back and I will tell you what you missed. Comprehension is part of basic o'level english. |
toseen7:The very first day I watched this bbn I saw her smoke in the garden with that her glasses. someone went to meet her in the garden but I've forgotten who cos I didn't know them much that time. It was that same day I read about her online somewhere that she said beers don't make her high only spirit. The way she eats eba have credence to her weeding lifestyle. |
pocohantas:She already said it that she takes weed. She and Cocoice discussed with Soma before soma was evicted. Cocoice said she lives eating the leaves raw. Marvis is the one that also said beers no dey shak her. na only spirit fit do am. She's d baddest girl in that house. That's why she's doing her things codedly. Her appearance alone has already given her away for people that has the eyes to see. BTW this is not her first time of smoking in that house. |
Yes we are all sorry for Nigeria but we shouldn't display our stupidity for the whole world to see. These people are supposed to be Nigerian ambassadors on that show. BTW I am very sorry for the DJ cos I doubt he will be paid shishi and worst still, his professionalism is now in question. The guy carried his wailing toooo far. The witches and wizards from his village will now be dancing and singing "it's our work o, Soft work". |
newguy1:Been reserved is sign of intelligence. Intelligent people tend to study their environment very carefully before acting or reacting. This makes them appear to be reserved but in actuall fact they are not totally reserved. Going by this, have you seen Uriel's diary room sessions. That is the real unreserved Uriel. she knows she has nothing to loose in the diary room. You're right about them not having fans outside because BBN is about not getting nominated inside and when you do, get your fans to save you outside. |
newguy1:Calling them dumb doesn't make them imbeciles or foolish but relative to intelligence, they are dumb. Intelligence doesn't mean being good at something. Intelligence includes ability to listen, comprehend and interprete Situations and react accordingly. Uriel knows the kind of environment she is and she d eals with it intelligently. That is one major reason she's yet to be nominated for eviction. Same thing with Bally. |
Mynd44:Hands down Uriel is most intelligent amongst the ladies but amogst the guys, I think Bally could be more intelligent than her. All those girls are dumbos, especially that Gifty girl. She is the perfect personification of dumb. |
Boj2:She's not wearing make-up and the background is not helping her case. |
Boj2:Ehen? Is that so?
|
Ayokunleayoolashakirudeen:It's better to have a first hand experience of it. |
Ayokunleayoolashakirudeen:She takes the most nutritional plant on earth. WEED. When you take WEED, you get hungry, so its normal for you to take heavy food after. It help skin glow. She doesn't even apply make-up. |
hello |
yarimo:Your case is irredemable. There's no point arguing with an illeterate. No amount of education can save you. If a jelly fish can survive without brain for over 10,000years, then you have hope. Adios. |
