It's obvious alot of Yorubas and Hausa hate Igbos why force them to stay
Its obvious the Igbos hate everyone and everything that goes against their wish.

Its about time you did some introspection rather than finger pointing.

Even if your assertion is true, why don't you ask yourself that why is that so?

Why did they hate us so much? Are we the only tribe in Nigeria?

Why didn't the Yorubas or hausas choose to hate the Ighalas, the Tivs, the Ijaw, the Benin, the Itsekiri, the Urhobo? Why don't they even hate each other.

Why is it only the Igbos?

The fact is that no tribe really likes the other it just a matter of mutual respect and respect is earned not demanded.

Even by your statement it says a lot about the thinking of Igbos. The victim thinking.

If everyone hates the Igbo like you said, how come Igbos are the only tribe you see in almost every village in the country. Even in remote villages in the north and the SW, they are there owning properties and businesses without harassment.

GeneralShepherd:
You guys continue threatening our unborn kids and wish we negotiate with you?

No one ever fully cooperates with a gun to his head. I was vehemently against Biafra but with the mirage of threats on Nairaland, I am having a deep rethink
Bros seriously that is not a threat but a statement of FACT.

The truth that every enlightened Nigerian knows is that standard of living is poor in SE. This shouldn't be in a hard working and innovative tribe. Forget the crime issue. Everyone knows your people are truly hard working which shouldn't be for a hard working tribe. The only thing lacking is the diplomacy to know when to act, what to act on and how to act.

What is happening in the SE is very unfortunate but it is common knowledge that it is as a result of the tribes inability to politically recover from what happened some forty something years ago. It is no ones fault that the tribe keeps miscalculating politically.

This same political miscalculation happened during the last election. It is still happening now with the secession protests. Whether we like to accept or not, it will not succeed and It will definitely have its consequences(politically) in the future whether we like to accept or not.

The actions of the past leaders that started the secessionist movement is what is telling on their present offsprings. Even if the tribe gets their acts right do you think others will ever trust a people who doesn't believe in the country to lead.

The way forward is to restrategise politically and forge a formidable and trust worthy front. Whatever happened to APGA. Can the capitulation of APGA also be attributed to the wrong notion of "marginalisation"

You talked about the @bold. My broda it is your people that is holding guns to our head with your threats of secession while also calling for fiscal federalism and political inclusion but it was still your people that truncated a similar arrangement before the civil war.

The fact is that people forgive and forget but history does not.

A lot of school boys view on Nairaland is affecting my interest.these days Why do we always attribute conspiracy once we do not like a decision?. (I just tire), must APC take a decision that is against the electoral act, just to satisfy Falake. The courts have established in various cases, that for any one to be declared Gov he must have gone through primaries. Falake did not go through APC or PDP or KOWA primaries, unfortunately since Audu was not declared outright as winner by Inec, Falake cannot be sworn in. Now, the argument that the vote margin of 41000 is more than 25000 or so pvc in the cancelled polling units, hence Falake should ve been declared winner though sweet to the ear, cannot be the right and legal thing to do.
Our electoral Act does not recognise PVC or the number of voters with PVC, what it does recognise is THE NUMBER OF REGISTERED VOTERS in the cancelled polling units, which in this instance is 49000, more than the 41000 vote margin. Falake i believe is aware of this legal limitations, hence should know better.
I don't like Bello, i don't know him, i don't like the idea he will reap from where he did not sow viz the accusation he played anti party. But one thing is sure in both the Bible and Quoran, it is GOD that gives power, he may ve decided to favour Bello by ticking for him the whole legal reasons, Falake won't win this case in court, in the court of public opinion and sentiment yes! He will win, unfortunate our courts will rely on the constitution, Electoral Act and decided cases to draw up their decision. Falake should rein in his supporters, probably nominate his proffered deputy to Bello, become a top party stalwart in Kogi, in 2019 go to the senate, allow Bello run his two terms, who knows with the support of stake holders it may be his turn in 2023 in a new power rotation agreement. Just my take, i am not from kogi
The bold has first given you away that you're lacking in the understanding of the law of the land. Even if it is after 2years, Faleke will still be confirmed the governor of Kogi state. Go and mark this down.

Now back you argument. I actually stopped reading at the bold point. Let me ask you this questions.

What is the difference between eligible voters and registered voters.

What makes someone eligible for voting after registering? Is it not PVC?

That said, if 49,000 registered and only 25,000 collected PVC. Does the remaining 24,000 qualify as eligible voter?

Listen before writing long senseless epistles.

Only 25,000 of the 49,000 registered voters are eligible to vote. INEC knew about it but was arm-twisted to declare the election inconclusive.
This is the bone of contention not the useless primary you're talking about.

Now we have a government and security outfit that is moving Nigeria towards having little or no respect for high profile individuals.

Some people will prefer he sits in Aso Rock and summon the Chinese President just because some people decides to protest the incarceration of someone accused of treasonable offence. They keep proving him right and putting him into further trouble.

Nigeria will be great either Biafra joins in building it or not. It will only be for their own good if they join hands in building the country instead of going against it at this crucial time.

History won't judge them right if they refuse to and they and their grand children will forever regret it.

Tell your friend about your fears. If you decide not just to go it might backfire on your friend that she brought someone to accuse the guy wrongly.

If her boss can arrange a phone conversation and remember to tell him you're not interested in resuming again because of your fear.

GEJ said that he did not authorise any payment

Dasuki said he did not disburse any payment

Dokpesi has now acknowledged that he received N2.1 billion from Dasuki who is the NSA and not the Minister of Finance or Information. He reports to GEJ the C-in-C.

We have three conflicting versions from these men, all in the space of 3 days.

The government of Jonathan was the most corrupt administration in the history of this nation

All the 3 men mentioned should spend the rest of their days in prison
Even if its from Minister of Finance or Information, it is still illegal. It is Nigeria's money not PDP money.

GEJ needs to be jailed cause it seems everything will stopping at his table.

Chukwudi. Honestly you're better than this. You're very dogged and strong in your resolve but you don't have to leap to the defence of this thieves all the time to show you discontent about the present administration.

What business does the NSA have with AIT. Is AIT supplying arms and ammunitions.

These people are the reason why we are here fighting each other. We should instead unite against them at opportunities like this.

Have you forgotten we don't get wet. We get hard. So its mostly dry down there.

Have you forgotten its a boxers that is free not a pant that hugs the crotch.

Instead of worrying about his boxers hygiene you should be bothered about his hygiene when visiting the loo.

Some people visit the loo and use just a bowl of water to clean I visit the loo and use me half a bucket to clean me self. Sometimes add detergent. That's hygiene.

It is really bad to be a Wailer angry
I don't know if I should kiss you or hug you infact I just feel like break dancing.

It really really sucks to be a wailer.

Most people don't see it the way you just did. All I see from Buharis trips is what is called market storming by marketers. I remember when I worked as a bank marketer then. Even our manager too goes out on his own to market bank products. What we always get are promises but after sometime we started getting calls from people in need of our products.

I once heard Tony Elumelu has an agreement with major airlines in Nigeria that whenever a very big player in the economy books a flight ticket, the next seat is reserved for him. They will now inform him of such person. If he wishes to have a meeting with the person, he goes on the flight, irrespective of where the flight goes to, have a brief meeting with the person and after the flight he takes another back to his office base. Now who take care of such bills.

When you know the people in your cabinet are up and doing, you don't have to be on ground all the time to solve everything. What now happens when and if he's not available. This is one of the change I campaigned for. Give everyone freedom to operate and do their job. If they fumble, eject them. The president does not have to attend to everything.

How many Employment opportunities did he create during his regimehuh

All the jobs in Pension scheme today directly or indirectly was under his administration

All the jobs in Health insurance scheme today directly or indirectly was under his administration

All the jobs in the Civil Defence directly or indirectly was solely under his administration

Yes he was corrupt and also performed below par but give credit to whom it is due. He could have performed more than he did because he had better grip on the politicians but he fumbled. In spite of his many short comings, he is still arguably the best Nigerian Head of Government since 1960 safe for Yar'adua who didn't finish his tenor.

A boy won a game at a birthday party I attended with my kids yesterday and was asked his name, age and class.

He said he is 9yrs old and in JSS 2. We were surprised. In the course of trying to get him to answer some questions relating to his school his brother came out. Guesd what? He is 10 years and in JSS 3.

They both have the same trend. How did they get there? Wait ooh, they will complete their secondary education by 13 years. What of the minimum entry age into university of 16yrs? What of psychological developments?

What is your take on this? Before now I thought that my 12yrs old child in SS1 is too fast and my husband thought of steeping her down last two years until I met those kids.
In this days where companies want 21year old graduate with 5years experience. Its not too early.

Gone were the days of minimum age. As long as the parents are up and doing in their tasks as parents. It will take a lot of monitoring and guidance from the parent of the child.

If they are able to enter University(especially a private) they get to have a second degree or early masters.
