Yeah as the title of my thread implies , I am looking for the fastest processing immigration office that can process the passport of six people in let's say two weeks max.

My elder bro went to do one in my state of residence, despite paying heavily more than the widely stated price yet no passport for close to three months so I am looking to get it outside my state of residence as long as I can get it within two weeks I don't mind.

Someone suggested lokoja immigration office but I don't know how true it is.

My Mum went to First Bank branch at Upper Iweka road, Onitsha, Anambra State yesterday to withdraw 20k. She inserted her card to withdraw but the Atm decline her card,she tried the 2nd time but got same rejection for an account she has being operating for more than 20years.

Someone behind saw what was going on and encouraged her to try again if she is sure of the account & pin or approached the bank for a complain. She equally tried d 3rd time, the Atm took her card and went out of service.
She stood there waiting for the machine to come up again before her next line of action with same people on the queue.

As soon as the Atm machine came up, she got a debit of #400k, #300k and #1million. All within 5minutes. With that shock, she rushed inside the bank to complain for the receivers account to be flag down but was told to write a letter under tensed condition. She wrote d letter and also informed my elder brother who is also a banker with another bank. My bro took up the matter immediately and call the branch manager of first bank for the account number of the receiver to be flag but was told that first bank wont be able to see the receivers account number till God knows when.

Personally most of us do transfer and you can easily see who you sent money to any minute. I wonder how this case look different.
After their delays for some hours, they reluctanly went to the Atm to look for my mum Atm but again said her Atm card is not in the machine. If not in the machine, where is it. My bro also asked them to use CCTV to verify my mum claim but we got the shock of our life. They said no CCTV coverage in that ATM that is within the bank premises. I dont know what to do since am not with her anymore but i know i might get any help possible from here. Please any admin do justice to this. She is retired as well.

As I type this , I reminisced what just happened at a gymn center I took my daughter to.

What effrontery, what audacity, what guts does the attendee has to push me away....

This the gist ......

It happens that I had the privilege to drive my daughter to a gymn center along stadium road here in port harcourt for her classes on Saturdays
( pls don’t ask me what is she doing at the gym place)

Today I dress very casual because I was watching a World Cup match ( don’t ask me who is playing either), just on my shorts and almost faded polo to go pick her because it was my cousin that dropped her in the morning .

This time my cousin who stay with me for the moment was looking so fresh up and nice dressed and I was looking like his driver. That’s not a big deal so we entered the building, everybody was greeting my younger cousin, welcome sir, welcome sir, even the security at the entrance. That’s not a big deal.

To my greatest surprise when we got into the mean arena my daughter is, she hasn’t notice me so I beckoned on one of the pretty young attendees to go fetch her for me , but she refuse, she downplayed my request.
because i wasn’t dressed well was totally ignored.
I almost wept,
My cousin noticed it and ask if he could help get my daughter, I oblige.

It was when the pretty lady saw my cousin that she opened up and ask him to wait, she will get her for us.

To cut the scenario short, my daughter ran towards me like daughter and father cruise that the foolish lady knew I wasn’t joking .
I just took my kid away and went home.

What did I learn from such scenario
1. To be properly dressed at all time
2. I learn also not to under rate people, the guy you think is a nobody can be the person you need for help

I currently have two brother in-laws. One from my sister's side and the other from my wife side. I'm not in talking terms with the two right now. I have sacrificed alot for the two in different occasions. But none of them can sacrifice anything for me. One I lent him 150k, he has refused to pay back even when he sold land. The other one I sold my laptop to assist him with funds during his wedding. I have done alot of uncountable sacrifices I don't want to start mentioning here. I'm coming to a conclusion that most in-laws are useless. I have heard a lot of stories from other families that shows that most in-laws are just not worth it. Even my father and his brother in-law dont talk. That one has never visited us since my father married his sister. A lot of stories.

Please share your own stories before I conclude that most brother and sister in-laws are useless.

In my own experience, I agreed with the op.

I remembered when things really got bad for me. All the girls from my Igbo side stopped coming around and my girlfriend stopped calling and if I manage to call, she won't pick most of the time.

Thank God I came across that Yoruba girl at that particular time,I don't know what I would have become now.

She will come to my house every day, prepare food that she bought with her own money,clean the house,even sort my transport if I'm going out(you know how Abuja be with transport nah) and she will always tell me that one day I will bounce back.

I will never ever forget her love and contribution towards my life and no matter how may times I have the opportunity to reciprocate that. I will gladly be doing it
