What options are you considering?
cmaamaa:
Good evening house, please help me out in confirming what NOC I fall under as I started having doubts.

I'm a Project Manager in a consulting firm and below are my duties :

Will it be ok to have it this way in my reference letter?

I received ITA at the last draw.

Thank you.

Golden Rule:

Do as you would be done by.
Treat as you would want to be treated.
Speak as you would want to be spoken to.

Nothing wrong in prayer (my view)....it's actually a call for help and especially when one has done all one knows to do...it's (to me) a sign of humility....you need to be down (and have worked hard) to understand...

I didn't pass my TEF...so humble ramblings......

Unnecessary, provocative and inflammatory contribution. You could just have ignored the post.

johnnybravo1990:
Exercise in futility. You dont need supernatural power to pass an exam. Pagans have passed IELTS. Africans and God ish. A white man will look for a practical approach to a solution. We Africans will look for the God approach.

One last thing, people don't do all-night prayers and night vigils in Canada. If they solved all their problems with prayers in Canada, I don't think we would all be aspiring to go there.

No issues.

Sype:
Good morning Everyone, please am planning to get a work reference letter titled to whom it may concern to avoid some issues. Will that be accepted by cic or it must be in cic format? Thanks for your response
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 6 by joo2018: 5:36am On Jan 18, 2019
Your choice.

Bank reference letter in CIC format is enough.

The 6 month SOA is only added as an extra supporting document if the bank refuses to provide the letter in CIC format
WhizzyG:
Does this mean account statement for 6 months plus reference letter would not be enough? I really don't have interest in this tbills or fixed deposit stuff please

Disclose the side job and current job Post-ITA in personal history when filling your application.

WhizzyG:
Congrats @sendugba go and flourish in your new home.

Guys please, I have been running a business concurrently with my job for the last 3 years which would form the bulk of the income for my POF aside my salary. Is it relevant I disclose the biz in my personal details in my EE profile?

Also I didn't incluse my current job in my profile which i had just resumed in october. this is because i already have the required work experience i need plus the job role are not very similar. Is there a need to include my current job?

I look forward to your responses

You are actually right assuming she is the PA.

I only did it for my spouse' ECA.

cc: @coolangel54: so no if you are the PA, yes if you are not

muta18:
IMO, when you answer NO and you don't have a Canadian education, your profile becomes ineligible. I tried it when my ECA is yet to be ready and immediately the profile becomes ineligible.

You must have IELTS and ECA/Canadian Education to be eligible.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 6 by joo2018: 2:49pm On Jan 17, 2019
Tie-breaking rule especially if your crs score is btw 439-447.

freshdad:
So is the purpose of opening this profile for showing how long the profile has been created? Well to each his own, but I do see why I would be creating a profile to keep space
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 6 by joo2018:
No, if you are the PA.

If you are not the PA, yes. When asked the question "Have you gotten an ECA" or something like that, you reply "No". You can update it to "Yes" and fill in your details after you have the ECA.

Modified.
coolangel54:
Last question please for today: can I create an EE account while ECA is in progress?

Dannyko:
Please for those who used a treasury bill certificate that mature in the course of the application, what were the steps you took to inform IRCC?I planned rolling over one of my Tbills that matures today. What else do I need to do?

Must be in queue for a residential review. Keep the faith. It will soon come.

nairalandnewbie:
I already did in October and the stage the agent I spoke to said I am now currently was indicated in the gcms notes from November
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 6 by joo2018: 8:21pm On Jan 16, 2019
They should take time o.
Ifeoma77:
This is probably why lately, applications are taking longer than we're used to

https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/cbsa-permanent-residency-error-1.4978765

Apparently a "...subject of national security concern was granted permanent residency ... due to a series of failures on the part of both Immigration, Refugees, Citizenship Canada and the CBSA."

Therefore, In light of the incident both departments have had to introduce changes.

You are good to go.

Jaymamma:
Regarding POF, Access Bank is refusing to state the full IRCC requirements on the bank reference letter.

The bank reference letter only contains:
1) name of account holder
2) account opening date

Is this acceptable please?

Kindly help peruse this, seniors in the house.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 6 by joo2018: 11:56pm On Jan 15, 2019
I don't see anything wrong with his statement.

If an applicant does not move the spouse's work experience to personal history, he/she will have to submit the spouse' reference letter.

A PA may wish to include the spouse reference letter because the bulk of POF came from the spouse.

Someone structured her application like that and explained in her PPR story on an earlier thread.

@pepe1

kfrosh:
How far you nau........ angry.......

Saying this your statement with all authority.
Kilode gan!

Reference letter should come from PA alone. Every other thing can sort themselve out.

TravelRe: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant Part 2 by joo2018(op):
I get that. My point is that you can start another business in Canada. Even importing and exporting.

Like @maternal advised, relax, research and prepare an action plan. You already have the business experience, you have many options. One option: You already have a supply network in China/Hong Kong. You only need to find a demand chain in Canada.

A few links from CBSA (border agency) on importing/exporting to Canada.

I deal with import from china and hong kong .and i have stable distrubition chain in nigeria which cannot be operated from canada
