That might not be clear o.

The min. CIC recommends is 96dpi (see here).

Why don't you use 300dpi colored and then compress the pdf? There are tons of pdf compressors online.

DrMrsCK:
What resolution is ok for upload the documents. 300dpi is too large. Is 75dpi ok?

Hmm, a project manager is a project manager is a project manager. Your technical background (mech. eng, civil eng, finance, HR, etc) may make you however more suitable for one industry/firm than another.

Project management is a discipline on its own. PMP is based on the PMBOK standard and is applicable to most if not all industries. Prince2 is a methodoloy and is preferred by some IT firms.

Jbelieve:
Hi Salford thank you for the response. Please bear with my questions. Still on the project management, there are different aspects like IT PM, construction PM etc. So for these consultancies like E&Y, PWC, KPMG etc do they have need for all types of project manager or different consultancies with different PMs? And irrespective of your background when you do pmp or prince2 does this enable you work with any consultancy? Also do you know consultancy that construction professionals can work? Thank you.

I maintain my stance joor, soft and moist and even decadent are perfect adjectives for cakes.
Think of it logically sef, what you're thinking of doesn't really answer to the soft and moist description. As a writer, if I am asked to choose two words to describe that, neither soft nor moist would make the cut. There are other adjectives that come to mind...

Good one, chief.
Glebb:
Update: So the scheduled interview was actually landing in its own right. Got there 10 mins to the scheduled time, got myself a number card, waited till it was my turn. I was asked two questions. Have I ever been convicted of a crime in Canada or elsewhere to which I answered NO. Also, I was asked if I have any dependants I haven't stated, I said NO. They printed my CoPR, have me sign both copies, they took one with one of the aforementioned passport photographs and that was it. The waiting time aside I didn't spend up to 5 minutes there.

He should come out clean. Add and LOE to his application and explain how it happened.

junebaby:
Good day all. How are we...I pray for speed in all areas of our applications.

I am making this enquiry for some one. He once applied for US visa but was denied. In the application, his agent stated married. However, in his EE application now, he is stating single.

Please advise, what can be done or what should he do or not do to get his PPR.

Thank you

I will advise you to pick "Yes" and then select "No" to "have you gotten an ECA".

Stencil:
During profile creation, if one isn't claiming points for the accompanying spouse's education, is it misrepresentation to answer "NO" to this question?

Has "name" finished high school or any higher education

This spouse has completed at least a secondary school education.

Thanks in advance.

I believe the bolded covers you. Go ahead and top up.

DrMrsCK:
I have come again o! Please I need your advice on POF. Spouse provided 100% funds. 50% was transferred into my account last year which I put into a fixed deposit. Now the other 50% was transferred into my account. I would like to fix the money in the same bank as before but this will be a top-up and there will be a new effective date. I want tmy application to show that I had some money before and not just before I submitted my application. I am so confused.
Do I go ahead and fix in one bank?(makes the application simpler) or do I fix the other 50% in another bank?
We plan to show spouse's SOA in order to explain the source of funds and also show the transfer to me then add a letter of explanation.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 6 by joo2018: 6:54am On Jan 26, 2019
Yes, forgot about the biometrics. So pls go ahead and inform.
efueh:
Thanks joo2018 for your response.
I guess it will be better to just inform CIC on the change of address due to her new job in Europe and left naija a week ago. Mind you, this new job wasn’t captured in her work history because it came after AOR. Also biometrics hasn’t been done yet, and when that time comes she intend to do it in Europe independent of her spouse in niaja. As we have read here that biometrics can be done from different locations.

So based on the aforementioned, I guess it is just proper to raise CSE and be at peace. I hope this is in order my people?
I’m asking for a dear friend, response/advice are most welcomed.

Read it and lots of the comments from the CPC/PPC guys on the thread.

Execution is key. If they can get it right, it is a great idea.

maternal:
Don't know if this is the right thread for it, but the federal government is trying a new immigration pilot project to help gets immigrants into rural communities. Perhaps this may be good for people who can't get or afford the skilled worker route ? A nice read.

Mm. Really looks like ICES is now overwhelmed.

55emem55:
After what seems like 11weeks, ICES comes back to say they've sent my credentials to my school for further verification. I dont even understand again. When did that one start? First they said they've been Bamboozled with over 300 applications in the last 3weeks from West Africa hence the delay. Una well done oh! My transcript has been with them since November 13th, and now they are saying they want to do further verification.

Mm.

You can raise the CSE.

However, I don't think it's such a big deal. However, you must have a strategy for submitting your passports when the time comes.

efueh:
Please for an accompanying spouse(Not PA) that changed address to Europe, due to work responsibility after days of application submission/AOR.
1. Is there any need to inform IRCC by raising a CSE?
2. Or keep quiet and let the application run its course?
Your responses are welcome.

Some more musings.

When I started this Canada PR journey, I heard a lot about applications of married PAs with children getting PPRs faster than single applicants. I remember @Osazee007 then always complaining about it. I also remember noticing in the PPR timelines that single applicants in Ottawa don't get it before 3 months.

Now that I'm an applicant, it is confirmed (at least for November AORs). The 7 or so guys who have gotten PPR in my AOR group within 2 months plus are all families of 4 or 5 with CIO and Ottawa as their VOs. This is not to say all large families will get PPRs fast. It is only indicative of a trend. There are other factors to consider including the complexity of the application and the VO processing the application.

But why would large families have their applications processed faster? I've read theories, like maybe Canada doesn't really need us, it is the children they need or that Canadian government believes that we first generation Canadians will not really adapt well and so is more interested in the kids who will more readily adapt.

I have a much more prosaic proposition. The reason large families are prioritized is because of the efficiency of target achievement. IRCC's PR target is landing/admission based. Not based on ITAs issued or number of applications processed (there is an EE service delivery standard of processing of 80% of applications within 6 months, but that is another story). It is based on the number of people who become permanent residents which happens at landing.

Lets look at the effort involved in processing an application:
For a PA: full processing including R10, eligibility analysis of MEC, A11.2, settlement funds and ability to be financially established in Canada and also admissibility assessments of medical status, criminality, security and misrepresentation.
For a spouse: partial processing including R10, eligibility (only if the spouse contributes points or a bulk of the settlement funds) and the full admissibility assessment.
For a child dependant: minimal processing of only R10 and medical status admissibility.

For the sake of this analysis, lets say the effort involved in processing the PA and spouse is 1 unit each and children dependant is 0. In real terms, the effort to process a spouse should be like 2/3 or 3/4 unit while that of a child should be like 1/4 unit. But we will go with 1 and 0 for the sake of mathematical simplicity.

For a single PA, the effort is 1 unit and the return is 1 permanent resident. The efficiency is then 1.
For a family of 2 (PA and spouse), the effort is 2 units and the return is 2 permanent residents. The efficiency is then 1.
For a family of 3 (PA, spouse and 1 child), the effort is 2 units and the return is 3 permanent residents. The efficiency is then 3/2 = 1.5.
For a family of 4 (PA, spouse and 2 children), the effort is 2 units and the return is 4 permanent residents. The efficiency is then 4/2 = 2.
For a family of 5 (PA, spouse and 3 children), the effort is 2 units and the return is 5 permanent residents. The efficiency is then 5/2 = 2.5.

So from a logistic point of view, it makes sense for such a target driven organization to prioritize applications that will bring the best returns.

Yes, you must include her.

Not including will not only affect sponsoring her in future, it is also misrepresentation and can affect your PR/Citizenship status in future.

She can be in your application as non-accompanying. Parley with her mother. Worst case scenario if you still can't get access, you add her but explain you couldn't get access. But try first.

Gopulence:
Good morning house,

I am new on this thread but I have gotten a lot of information within my short time of visiting this thread. Thanks for all the information.

Please house, I need clarification on one thing. I intend to apply for EE soon, I have a daughter which I intend adding as my dependant but the mother and I are not in good terms. In fact I don't have full access to my daughter.

The question is should I include my daughter in my application or should I apply alone? Knowing fully well that I am the only that intends traveling now and coming back for my daughter in the future.
if I don't declare that I have a dependant will it affect her chances in future?

Thank you for your candid advice.

I think I remember a PR timeline where the person was asked to send the Nigerian passport after sending the US passport only initially.

You can start your application with the US passport. But I think it also makes sense to get the Nigerian passport, you can add it to your application any time. She's still a Nigerian citizen until she renounces it.

cutiep:
Dear all, please I need clarification.

I am post ITA. Our daughter has only a US passport. Can we process our canada PR with her US Passport or do we need to apply for a Nigeria passport for her? Please which is better

Any advice/ suggestions would be appreciated
