...can't it just be in a form of only a letter signed by the family member, stating that he gave me the money?: it can, that's a gift declaration. What is this notarization thing? How is the process like?: Get a Notary Public in your state or go to the local high court for an affidavit from a Commissioner of Oaths. Is it compulsory for a gift deed?: Depends on your risk tolerance. It is an extra backing. johnnybravo1990: Please o, this gift deed stuff, can't it just be in a form of only a letter signed by the family member, stating that he gave me the money?

Yes. SAYOSOLA: Good morning people, I just saw my IELTS result with 6.5 in writing. My ECA is ready, can I create a profile now, while I remark/rewrite the test and update the profile later with the new result. I am thinking this might help with the tie break rule later. Please advise. |

I don't get you. In your initial post, you wrote: "My ECA report reads: under program description = three years post secondary diploma Then under comparative levels of achievement in Canada it says: post secondary diploma with a focus is medical laboratory science." Onebase79: My worry is that the three years is not stated in the report, and according to the linked you post, *the points for post secondary diploma equivalency is different from three years post secondary diploma. |

I'm assuming you used WES. "What if a candidate is not satisfied with a WES Evaluation Report? Each WES Evaluation Report contains information that candidates can use to contact WES. We review and provide written responses to all questions from candidates." https://www.wes.org/partners/faq/Provide the basis for appeal as you have done here. If WES doesn't still cooperate, you might need to try an ECA body. The same process applies if it was another ECA body. Steven7: Good day house.. Please I have little concern I would want the experienced ones amongst us to help out with.. My wife ECA just came out and it was stated there that her university(Tansian university) is not recognized by NUC and therefore can't be compared to a Canadian educational credential. 1.Now from the contact we have made to her school, the University is accredited by NUC. 2. Her university is no 54 on NUC accredited private universities. 3. We all know here in Nigeria if your university or course of study is not accredited, you won't be able to go to NYSC. 4. She has her NYSC discharge certificate. My worries is how did they come to these kind of conclusion ? What is the best decision to take on such matter? Please house I need good response. |

Chief, kindly do as I advised and also add the NOCs you are considering. Listing it like this alone means: 1. You are looking for someone who is already familiar with this JD and its NOC to provide you with an answer. That can still happen. 2. You are looking someone who is familiar with all NOCs and is willing to set out maximum time to do the search for you. The only person who is like that is Newmum and she's currently finding her feet in Canada. She has also paid her dues (if she was owing any). What some of us over here can help you do is to help consider your options, fine-tune and make suggestions towards a decision. You need to do your research first. Use this tool: here. Dude, I'm assuming you are single and less than 30yrs. Relying on two or more certificates might not be enough to cross you over unless you are sure of maxing out your IELTS. So waiting for the MSc or doing MSc with NOUN might be the better option. Unless you're willing to put on the effort of learning French. olalekan9320: I'm sorry .... e from my PPA. |

If you already have a WES USA evaluation for your MSc, you can email them about converting it WES Canada immigration ECA. Hosannah: Hello everybody,
I have a question about WES verification, is it possible to use WES USA credentials or must I start WES Canada verfification all over again?
Also if I have two degrees, a Bsc and a masters, do I have to evaluate both the degrees or just the most recent one?
Thanks for your assistance |

Evalaute only your MSc. Declare both the Msc and the evaluation report in your EE profile. Don't evaluate your BSc. Declare the BSc in your EE profile. dotman4goo: Am planning to do my evaluation with WES and am confused weather I need to declare my BSc since I have already completed my MSc, the reason is because I watched a video online that states that MSc holders should declare BSc certificate and I read somewhere else that you only declare your highest certificate. My friend, your friend might need a divorce lawyer o. It is Nigerian divorce law she will be using. 1-yr separation is not sufficient grounds. dasizzling: Not yet, as the separation is barely 3months and not upto a year which is required before you can start a divorce process. |

Part of the POF, i am planning to send some funds from my personal savings as a gift to support the application. She should provide a well detailed LOE explaining the circumstances and attach. dasizzling: thanks for this. please my cousin also has a similar situation. When she created her account and got ITA she applied as spouse accompanying, but now herself and spouse are separated, and he has refused to do medicals and PCC. Hi @Boss13, actually landing gist qualify as experience and is acceptable. Information about immigration does not and can be referred to appropriate threads. See relevant part of the opening post of thread II: "It is an avenue for people that have immigrated to Canada (with their families) to share their experiences to help future hopefuls." See here. For the relevant part of the opening post of original thread: "Kindly share your personal experiences and comments on:
* When you landed at the airport? * What are the immigration rules to follow? * How do you carry all that cash with you? For example: a family of 5 will need $25,923. .......". See hereDiscussing about landing has been part of the thread since page 1 of the thread by @maternal who landed a long time ago. Fleshing up the experiences with flight details continued from page 12 by @vcole. The mode of delivery of the experience by individuals whether straight talk, with humor or pictures should be left to the discretion of the poster. The landing gist provide an important function of providing information, resetting expectations and providing hope to those fo us yet to land. Bear with us. Boss13: In Earnest, I think this thread was open to share experiences and helpful notes whilst living in canada. In my opinion, I think sharing landing gist here is inappropriate. There are specific threads for that purpose.
For any avoidance of doubt, the thread is living in canada or life as a Canadian immigrant. It’s not landing in canada or requesting information on how to land, apply for Canadian immigration or concerns related to immigration process.
There are many relevant topics to discuss. Please let’s observe proper etiquette |
