Yes, you do need to submit before the IELTS expires. Only age is locked. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/permanent-residence/express-entry/assessing-electronic-application-on-section-a11-2.html cc: @mcstan18 Saskbound: |

For Nigerian schools, yes. czaratwork: |
That one pass me o! I believe you mean Vfs Lekki address. Because the Canadian consulate is at VI. Now, that is not IRCC address. But does it matter? I doubt it, but I can't say for sure. Mimi1999: |
1. There is option of "spouse unaccompanying" that gives you the same advantage as being single. With it, you can sponsor your family later. 2. Don't know 3. Age reduction is misrepresentation and can earn you 5-yr ban. yusslab: |

If you still decide to use IRCC address, this will suffice: Centralized Intake office, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, Sydney NS, Canada The P.O.Bs and postal codes are different for different offices within the IRCC Sydney complex. VECOH1: |
Well done! That's a good one! 9/10 net points increase in a year. (14/15 points minus 5 poins for age). WolverineLives: |
A lot of people carry their money in cash and open accounts when they land. However if you choose to use the bank approach: 1. You already have a Canadian bank account. a. Use your Nigerian domiciliary account to transfer. You will get the Swift code for your Canadian bank together with the bank code and your account number and give to your Nigerian bank to use and effect an FX wire/funds transfer for you from your Nigerian dom account to your Canadian account (here). b. Use international money transfer bodies to transfer from your regular Nigerian account to your Canadian account. 2. You don't have a Canadian bank account. I think RBC (Royal bank of Canada) is the only bank with which a non-yet-landed permanent resident can completely open an account from abroad. With some of the other banks, you can start the opening remotely but will need to land to complete the opening. For RBC, go to their site (here) and contact them. They will explain you the process to transfer your money. However, I believe you only be able to access your money when you land. Modified: NBC (National bank of Canada) also opens bank accounts for newcomers before landing. Check here oluphilip2008: |
You may need to specify your kind of engineering to get better advice. adeptonlin: |
Personally, I don't think their is a cause for alarm, but if submitting those documents will give you peace of mind, use the webform: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx. Which letters had Nigerian Canadian address? Mimi1999: |
Use the webform: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx Explain you noticed a mistake in the calculation of your settlement funds and you are submitting an updated funds statement. You will then be able to upload your FD certificates(s). Walegy: |
You don't have to submit your NYSC bank statements with your application. If you get an ADR for your NYSC bank statements, you will submit what you have and use a LOE to explain the way you just did here. Prettiepearlz: |
Congrats again @beeday. Go and excel, we de behind you. |
For clarification, for the country you are currently residing in, the PCC must not be expired. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/apply-permanent-residence/police-certificates.html cc: ifeoma77 ready4glory: |
I don't believe that will be a problem. ready4glory: |

Lol. The cold snaps happen periodically in most parts of Canada apart from some places in BC. Ottawa earlier today was colder than Moscow and Ulan Bator. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/ottawa/coldest-capital-city-in-world-1.4985296 MissEmmy: |
I concur with 1122. I think it is ok as it it. Just develop and add a lead statement that is similar but not identical to that of the NOC. Good luck! cmaamaa: |
Some musings. The instances of several people who requested PPR mail from NDVO getting other fresh PPR mails seem to confirm a hypothesis I had about applicants whose applications were approved but forwarded back from Ottawa to CIO without PPR mail. Here it is: There was a decision to delay issuing of PPR mails because EE Permanent Residence admissions target had been met early for 2018. Delaying PPR mails into Dec 2018 and Jan 2019 meant that people would be forced to land in 2019. Given that Ottawa is the largest office and appears to handle at least 60% of applications, it made sense to restrict the policy to Ottawa. So approved files were forwarded to CIO to be held in a bank. PPR mails for those applications will be triggered in batches at scheduled periods from late December to January 2019. In practice, NDVO was not involved in the decision. Indians who got PPR from NDVO in Nov/Dec were unlikely to land in 2018 anyway. But through online forums like canadavisa, people got to know of the loophole and it appears as if NDVO has some sort of autonomy anyway. So they began issuing PPRs to every Tom, Dick and Harry who asked as long as the application has been approved. So, people got the PPRs and Nigerian residents forwarded their passports to Accra. Accra which always follow due process (I hail o!). So Accra has been holding people's passport till the appointed time without issuing CoPR. However, the time period in for the delayed applications has been triggered and so there has been automated release of PPR mails (without visa office specified) for those involved. Prediction: The repeat PPR mail for some (could be a programming error) will continue until the batched applications have all received PPRs or the automated program turned off. Meanwhile Accra will start releasing passports en-mass from now. |
