where and when did he lie under oath because from what I got on the news, he was said to have applied to the army based on a recommendation letter from his teacher and from there on it became the responsibility of the army to verify that he had taken the exam before swearing him into the army. The same clearance is required before a bachelors is awarded. If a school fails to do the needful clearance before awarding the degree should we now be blaming the degree holder or will anybody come and accuse me that I used a fake result to get into NNPC when it is the duty of the employer to always do the verification.

If the army never asked for the certificate later-on then it was safe for him to have assumed that he was qualified based on the recommendation alone or if he got in by quota system as many think then we have no right disturbing the man as we all benefit from it.

And when you go for interviews you present your statement of result from the Uni and it is d duty of your employer to verify before employing? NB: certificates usually take 3 to 4 years before it is ready as I type I am yet to collect my cert. Having left school for a while.

Are there doubts on the statement of results? This shouldn't be unless we are saying he maneauvered his way into those international schools without the O'levels because I'll sure they would have screened him before admitting him.

If the minimum requirement to enter Chevron is a graduate trainee is a second class upper in engineering or sciences and you come with a 2'2 + MSc and PhD, you will not be employed because you simply do not have a 2'1 at BSc level.

Additionally, you can only be offered the chance to get a diploma if you have your o'level. Its this O'level that people are requesting, GMB should do the needful and request for copies of his O'level from WAEC and/or Cambridge and shut critics up.

As for me I am not in any camp, but as a son of a millitary officer, I know how so many northern officers were favoured in place of other more qualified southern officers back then. A northerner who knows nothing, does not have any qualification or intelligence would be promoted to the rank of Brig gen while southern officers will still remain colonels.

Its still happening today, NNPC is crowded with Northerners who have NCE, OND and HND in some weird courses while southerners with BSc, BEng, MSc and other outstanding qualifications in applicable engineering and science disciplines are jobless. This country doesn't belong to a set of persons. It is OUR country. I am still waiting for a time when we will not have a northerner in power either as president or vice..... We in the south here are not fools. (Some will say we've passed the stage of tribe and religion but performance, tell that to Buhari and APC, they are the ones who zoned the ticket to the muslim North. I don't think ppl really care about his cert. There is nowhere in Nigeria where tribal sentiment is not common esp among d 3 major tribes. It is also common amongst the minority tribes so I don't see any moral grounds to judge him when I know that as an Indigene of an Oil producing region with indigenes handling top position in d MNC I get some advantage over others. Every graduate knows that in your penultimate the university authority are charged with the responsibility of requesting for your original certificates which they believe u must have received by then. And until you present it you are not cleared and no degree is awarded.

Now if the university overlooks this and goes ahead to award you the degree will you blame the degree holder or the school authority.

When you leave the university is it not a statement of result stating that you have been awarded the degree that is granted to you. And when you apply for jobs is it not the statement you tender for qualification. Is it not your employer's responsibility to very by referring back to ur school and if they decide not to should you the employee be blamed for forged qualification?

PDP has no case neither does the army. I laugh at their cry of PERJURY. they should head to court but I'm supremely confident they'll lose.
