And Nyad was very open and honest about her worldview and how she’s able to appreciate the awe and the majesty of the earth despite her atheism. Oprah says she isn't an atheist.

Oprah Winfrey is one of the most popular African American people in the world. Unfortunately, she is still stuck with the religious ignorance that affects us blacks. Atheism is just a disbelief in God. An atheist can believe in spirituality. An atheist can feel that there's an energy surrounding all of us.

Jesus died. That changed a whole lot of things you see. It changed the very way man could percieve life. He died so you wouldn't go through the same cycle of sinning. His power and gift of life and freedom of sin is available if you accept it. It has been given. Our duty is to receive it. But the world continues to wax worse in sin and rebellion, deliberately refusing to accept God's salvation. Until you accept God's free gift, it won't benefit you. God is not going to force you into his kingdom.

Why are you unrepentant?

And if you have sinned, which I'm sure you have, you stand guilty before God and he will have to judge you right when you die. To make you escape wrath and hell, God made a provision. He sent his word, jesus, to die and pay the penalty for your sins cuz he loves ya. Once you accept jesus' salvation, you're acquitted.

God heals and directs his children. He is a person. He speaks.

If you didn't, then you were never a christian. You were just a religious person serving in the church. You never knew God. If you ever knew God at a point in your life, our discussion would be different sir.

Please what you're exhibiting is rebellion.
We have been sinning against God since, has he killed us yet? You have been sinning against God yourself, and even now you're in rebellion against him, has he judged you yet? Infact, he's ready and willing to forgive. He paid the price for your sins.

Be honest sir. If your son still keeps delibrately sinning against you and rebellious against your rule in your own house even when he knows better and is responsible for his actions, if he continues in disobedience under your rule and keeps obstructing you and fighting against you and speaking against you and discrediting you everytime he gets, won't you at some point(when he's 30 years old perhaps) throw him out of your house? Will he continue to stay under your rule when he has made himself your enemy? No. It will be just to throw him out.
But after all these years, jesus hasn't come to judge yet. Although the world keeps wallowing in iniquity, the lord is patient, not willing that any man should perish. He still gives everyman a chance to repent. Even you.

You're trying to water down your sin before a just and holy God. You should repent sir, and escape the coming wrath before it's too late.

For the wages of sin is death, but the freegift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord

Lordlexyy: When you subject your Christianity to some feeling of ectacy, that is religion .....make me feel good.... True Christianity goes beyond that. Nobody can ever successfuly explain this divine encounter to you. It is better known to you. You can't have this and still remain the same. It is personal and unexplainable. No wonder Christ said that 'the things of God are foolishness to the world', so i perfectly understand where you are coming from.

no sir. The reason God sent jesus is cuz we're already condemned. We'Re already under guilt and condemnation and on our way to perish because of our sin. Jesus came and bore the punishment for our sins. So as long as you believe and accept his solution(which is salvation), you should not perish sir! God will declare you innocent due to lack of evidence. You can read the verses after John 3:16. I mean verses 17-19
Does that make sense to you?

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
