Sometimes I'm tempted to say these people don't value their lives. I'm inclined to say they don't really have anything to live for.

But the fact is that there are many influences that people, especially young children have when they're growing up. The most influence comes from the family. In places where the delicate structure of the family God designed( a male and a female parent with children) is tampered with by divorce and s.exual perversion, and lawlessness and immorality, children often turn out badly. Statistics say so.

Let us think before we argue in front of the kids, or before we think of divorce.

Let us raise children well. Train up a child in the way he should go. He won't stray.

And let us remember to value children, and be good role-models, fathers to the fatherless, mothers to the motherless, good examples and loving and giving friends. Our children should not die.

I forgot to add the convenant scriptures themselves, please see them below in Amplified version:

Old Testament
Exodus 24:8
And Moses took the [remaining half of the] blood and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant which the Lord has made with you in accordance with all these words.

The first half of blood of the animals was sprinkled on the altar (Exodus 24:6) signifying the place for atonement for sins.

New Testament
Matthew 26:28
For this is My blood of the new covenant, which [ratifies the agreement and] is being poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

Same thing here as well. The blood of Jesus sealed the convenant and atones for sin. The blood played a dual role in both instances.

Hell is very real.
God is not interested in sending anyone to hell. God is interested in saving people from hell. God's mission is to save the world from sin and condemnation.
I've given this example before:

Suppose you have a son, your much loved son. Who is a rebellious and fool-hardy son. You sure do love him, but everything he does is about challenging your authority and rebelling against you, under your own roof and rule. Even WHEN this son grows up and knows better, he still uses every oppourtunity to break your own rules, speak against you, disobey you and ignore you every chance he gets.
Be honest. It will be wise and just to put that son away, to throw him out of your house. Although you love your son. It will be just to kick your son out(say he's 30 years old). This is because he has made himself your enemy

This is how it is with God. He's not just our loving father, he's our creator. And he's our JUDGE
When we rebel, his holiness and righteousness as a just judge will be to condemn you in death and cast into hell. That's the hard truth and reality. For the wages of sin is death you see.

But God is a loving God, because inspite of our sins and rebellion, he sent his son to make a way and free us from guilt and condemnation. Inspite of your rebellion as a sinner, (think of all your sins all these years), and the fact that you're guilty, he still loved you and sent his son to die even while you were already guilty. This is why God is merciful and just. People on nl even rebel against God and curse him everyday. Everyday we fornicate and steal and use God's name as a swear word and lie. We are guilty before God. That is the message. God in his mercy made a way of salvation so we can be acquitted and granted freedom from sin, but still people misinterpret that and say God is unjust(how can you say that?!)

You see, sin damns to hell. God is holy.
For the wages of sin is death
But he is loving and merciful and loving
But the free-gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our lord

Accept jesus today! Escape the wrath to come!

Edit: what people do today, is try to water down their sins before a just and holy God and that won't work. The whole world wallows in sin and lawlessness today. The world stands guilty before God. Grab the salvation and anchor of our lord Jesus Christ. He can save you from wrath. Stop the sin. Stop taking pleasure in it and look to Jesus and start to live a holy life before God.
Stop giving stjupid and shallow excuses before God. Hell is real. Why die for your sins when there is salvation?

Escape the wrath to come!!!!!!

Interesting thread, learning a lot. My advice to everybody contributing, pls try not to be insultive, and answer questions directly, the thread will be more interesting and educative that way. Moreso, it's a 'religious' thread.
Luke 2:41-45 Every year Jesus' parents traveled to Jerusalem for the Feast of Passover. When he was twelve years old, they went up as they always did for the Feast. When it was over and they left for home, the child Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem, but his parents didn't know it. Thinking he was somewhere in the company of pilgrims, they journeyed for a whole day and then began looking for him among relatives and neighbors. When they didn't find him, they went back to Jerusalem looking for him.

46-48 The next day they found him in the Temple seated among the teachers, listening to them and asking questions. The teachers were all quite taken with him, impressed with the sharpness of his answers.

The world wallows deeper in sin. By God's grace, revival will break forth one more time before the end and judgement. The world is in its final hours. We preach to man, to escape the wrath to come.

Very soon, the world will be caught up with the painful pangs of the reality of God's judgement as we're taken out of the way. My hope is that when people see the great catastrpohies to come, they'll look and understand that each of them are exactly prophesied in the bible. My hope is that some at least, will turn to God then. Good day sir. I also hope and prau that you will not doubt the reality of this message until it's too late.

@ alwaystrue: Thank you and thank God for this blessed post. This shows that Jesus was not under the bondage of sin. Of course he wasn't! He lived above sin, giving us help and showing us example to do likewise as we have faith in the power of the law of the spirit of life.
We are not in the bondage of flesh and sin any longer. We live under grace by the power of God. We owe no obligation to the flesh, to do its will. We mortify the flesh as we walk in the spirit. We are no longer trying to achieve righteousness, we have become the RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD in CHRIST JESUS

Let's walk in God's word in victory.
Trusting in his power to keep us.
