rationalmind: alright.fine man. Thank you. ![]() |
rationalmind: presently on mobile. Pls ignore typos.why are people punished for ra.pe and wrongdoing and stealing then? Or serial killing? Have they not been conditioned to do so by their external environments and have no freewill to refuse? Its not their fault then? We must blame conditioning. Why should we even give a death sentence to any terrible crime?(According to human standards) Is it not because the said criminal is assumed to be resistant to positive conditioning to resist crime and must pay for his wrong choices? |
plaetton: My genes, a combination of DNA from My father's gene pool and from my mother gene pool that have evolved through the ages.nonsense. The bolded statement made by you has reduced your post to arrant nonsense. Self-existent energy. Chai. It even debunks everything about modern science and life itself. |
rationalmind: And that exactly is what annoys me. They feel everyone is as scared of hell as they are.he's the one that brought up hell in his post. And was hell not the central parts of the questions of some about omniscience and freewill? |
Hypocrisy and lack of integrity and lack of boldness to stand for good against lawlessness in nigeria's problem, and the world's problem. This can be remedied when one accepts Christ Jesus. |
Logicboy03: Run, soldier of christsmh. Do you have any other questions? Any honest person will understand my answers to the first batch. |
Logicboy03: Lol.... Running with style. You think that link is the answer to all the questions here?no. Its the answer to the only question that was not repeated. |
No. He didn't. He just realized that this thread would end in a never-ending cycle of repeated questions and repeated answers. Here's your link: http://creation.mobi/neanderthal-childrens-fossils |
Let me ask a question; What about the nations? Which law were they under? What made God warn them to repent? Or punish them for evil when they were unrepentant? |
Beretta92: I would die a thousand and one times for a wrong I didn't commit provided I know I'll resurrect on each occasion n would be greatly rewarded.U believe jesus is alive, don't u?So stop talking as if he really died in the first place. The way u talk about him dying for others is as if these others won't die anymore.Jesus didn't die for nobody,ok?Stop acting like a selfish iidiot. Do you see how you speak foolishly? Jesus motive for dying was his love for us. He wanted to save us from eternal death. His reward was not really that he'd be greatly exalted and honoured(judge carefully). What exalt does he have now that he didn't have as God Almighty before he became a human being? His real reward was the love and fulfilled accomplishment of redeeming many and saving mankind who has believed, presenting them to the father as citizens of heaven. The aim and the accomplishment was not to get reward. It was to make men son's of God. This was a sacrifice of love. The very exaltation and honour he got was because of us still. If he was not raised from the dead, we would not have been justified completely, raised up. It is pathetic that you think this sacrifice was to gain greater reward of honour and power for himself, when his sacrifice was to gain honour and power for others through himself. He has made us children of God in him. John 20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. Hebrew 2:11 For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren, 12 Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee. 13 And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me. 14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; 15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. 16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. 17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. 18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted. All was done for us. It was a sacrifice borne out of love. |
rationalmind: Yes. There is no freewill and there is no omniscience.smh. Do you realize the implications of what you just stated? |
Ihedinobi: Obviously, if God's knowledge does not have a cause-effect relationship with your choices, your question is rather meaningless.you should ask him if his name is in the list of those going to hell and if he wants to go to hell first. ![]() That'll shut him up. My delivery is always astute and direct(and most times, in a complete package hindering them from asking other foolish questions) and tells them the bitter truth, that's why they try to pretend I'm dumb, they just try to make themselves feel good. They don't realize they're acting a pattern normally observed when one denies Gods existence and begins to formulate all these foolish theories and stjupid questions and more stjupid conclusions to rationale his bold and blind foolishness. |
macof: The fastest way atheist are formed is by reading the Biblethis is not true. It is very false |
Beretta92: I find this reply of yours most vacuous.Jesus had foreknowledge of all that would happen to him.He knew that his suffering was infinitesimal compared to the glory that would follow it.His reward would be eternal just like humans would go to hell forever for their finite sins. You talk about him being demeaned, ridiculed, scorched and bla as if he is the only person in history to have undergone that. His method of execution was typical of roman criminals but yet u xtians try to make it seem exceptional n otherworldly.Jesus died knowing he'd wake up in 3 days. Not only that,he knew he'd become a god too n all power in heaven n earth would be given to him.Tell me,what's the sacrifice in that?Human beings have dealt with more.Humans have given their lives for various causes knowing full well that they won't come back or wake up in 3 days. All humans must and would die.Death is inevitable.Your talk as if Jesus had a monopoly of death, like we won't all die, like you won't die.Death seems to you like something too huge only jesus could bear it.Yet humans die daily, some in the most gruesome n painful ways.A friend of mine had to struggle all his life before death took him from us.He never enjoyed life.Struggling, hustling n struggling even more till he died young. And he ain't coming back.A former mate of mine has been thrown into mourning just last week she lost her beloved younger brother in an accident, and he aint rising in 3 days. You too as had as it might be to conceive would die someday n whether u like it or not u wont come back.Jesus didn't die for anybody but himself.Jesus knew it all before it would happen. But he wasn't a roman criminal. He underwent all these for others. Go ahead and die prematurely for someone on deathrow, die a horrible death for one who would probably later reject you and say you died for yourself. Go and die for a condemned criminal when you have done nothing wrong. That's the greatest sacrifice. The seeming weakness of death brought about the awesome strength of ressurection and salvation for mankind who believes. |
Seed of Onan: I don't read it, I listen to it on MP3. I actually love the book as a piece of literaturewow. That's good to hear. I think you'd love reading it. |
Seed of Onan: Well the film hasn't officially debuted so maybe the premise that Jesus is a conspiracy is just as far out as a Jesus being born of a virgin.smh. It seems you have not read the bible. I encourage you to get the bible and study it. |
Kenny4lyfe: YesooooOo! Make haters go dance Skelewu on top transformer lolz!thank God for your pastor. Thank God for Jesus too. Jesus rocks. ![]() |
^^^ Wow onan. You have succeeded in making me flabbergasted. Your post is so full of contradictions I don't know where to start. Well, I'll try. 1. The words of the bible were not written in a limited period of human history(for pete's sake?). 2. The bible encompasses all universality, when viewed in its right and complete perspectives and for you to claim humans evolved language is foolishness. At least we'll start there. This post is for the benefit of honest and weak people who might believe any fancy writing they see. Nonsense. |
wiegraf: And that's hearsay?no its not sir. Its not. Its actually proven by hard facts that apes become men, that you are a sophisticated robot created by non-directed randomnesssssesssss. Josh, it's not by force to post. If you must, there are many other threads where m.orons of your calibre are having discussions on your level. Eg onyfranks water cycle thread, where you dared mock him despite your believing in Jewish zombies and talking snakes.when did I mock him? Sorry oga. I couldn't resist replying the stupidity inherent in your post. I couldn't believe others hadn't seen it too. Hearsay schmellsay. |
"You can always discard hearsay" says the foolish person who believes his ancestors were apelike men and he is a machine created by non-directed randomness. Smh. |
macof: Reading the Bible wit an open mind can make a Christian convertI always get baffled when you say these things. The only way one might have a chance at getting me to begin to doubt is to keep me from studying Gods word. All of life's answers are in there. |
Nice. Please could you examine the theory of evolution in light of your commandments of inquisition? |
texanomaly: Morning everyone.I'n fine ma'am. Have a nice day. |
rationalmind: Now in convinced christians are brain dead. I'm encouraging everyone to click on the link provided by Josh to read what they refer to as archealogical evidence.see another link here: http://www.everystudent.com/features/bible.html#arch |
nnofaith: he already knows they are beyond redemption what time is he giving them again?!!you will be the same one to curse him in judgement saying: You didn't give me enough time and patience like you gave others, I would have repented! |
nnofaith: Doesnt this statement contradict his power of omniscienceno. Justice requires him to give everyone a chance to make a choice. Love requires him to be longsuffering |
aManFromMars: What's keeping him?he's waiting for you and others, giving them time |
mazaje: You are completely deluded to have uttered such. . .Hope you know that most of the events in the bible have no historical backing outside the bible?. . .Archaeology and history actually disproof the bible. . .Don't go to christian fundamentalist sites and be reading nonsense and lies by people that will do or say anything to further their faith. .there is actually. But even if there isn't, why won't you believe the historical data recorded in the bible that is backed up by archaeological facts? Here are some historical data from a website: http://www.neverthirsty.org/pp/corner/read/r00175.html |
peterphd: It's funny how Christians defy logic just to save their all powerful god but want their court cases to be settled based on the defied logic.when Jesus truly comes down in all might and power, he'll come as the all-powerful and immediately judge the people who have sinned and continually rejected and insulted the free solution to their sins. |
aManFromMars: What proof do you have that Jesus solved the problem of sin? Even those who believe still battle with sin everyday.the proof that we can actually battle with sin is proof enough. Do you battle with sin? As christians, we're delivered from the power of lust, we owe no obligation to the flesh, to live as flesh controlled men anymore. Not just that, our sins can be and have been forgiven as we trust in Christs sacrifice. Its an awesome life to live. A resurrected life ![]() |
