Common sense doesn't tell you that in the old covenant, the Jews (proselytize) didn't pray through Christ, sacrifice animals, they salvation was guaranteed by their obedience through the law which they couldn't, had Moses as mediator not christ etc, that it is only in the new covenant that they have Jesus blood as sacrifice, pray through Christ, no longer animal sacrifice, pray in his name, get salvation through him, forgiveness of sins etc.

Common sense doesn't tell you that these provisions became possible because a new covenant was in force and has Jesus Christ as mediator? Common sense that people of the nation couldn't have access to God through the old law covenant and its only possible because of the new covenant which Jesus is a mediator and came into force by his blood?

From personal opinion , almost all of them in the first century have the heavenly hope as Kings. 2 Tim 2:12 if we endure, we will rule as kings.

4. Is the these referring to earth alone or heaven alone or both?

Every Christian looks forward to both fulfilment and righteousness will dwell in both , but each Christian have different destinations , but all " We " 2Pet 3:13 are Christians

1John 2:2 not just for us ( in the new covenant ) which John is part of, but the whole world. Jesus died for the whole world.

But the covenant to rule as Kings is for a " Little flock " Luke 12:32 .

Non members of the new covenant do not partake of the bread and wine.

Let's reason together a bit, take this illustration as an example as it applies to the angle and mindset you have that.......The JWS believe 144,000 will rule with Christ and serve as King and Priest in Heaven.

JESUS MADE A NEW CONVENANT WITH ONE MILLION PEOPLE but selected 144,000 to rule with him over the OTHERS who are EQUALLY part of the NEW CONVENANT.


Jesus made a NEW CONVENANT with ONLY 144,OOO and SERVE as JUST MEDIATOR between the REMAINDER of the ONE MILLION simply because the REMAINDER of the ONE MILLION will not rule with HIM they cannot be said to be PART OF THE NEW CONVENANT.

The reasonable question that will be asked from ILLUSTRATION 2 is what is Christ MEDIATING FOR on behalf of the remaining ONE MILLIONS?
