When I say JW uses the Watchtower as a guide to discuss the Bible, am not pulling stuff from the air. I have studied with them. There was a time I could not walk without aid for long, they were coming steadily to study with me every Sunday after your meetings. After every meeting the man brings the WatchTower studied for that day to me. We read the Watchtower then read the references made in the Watchtower.
They scriptures are twisted to suit what Watchtower presents. Luckily I read my bible for myself too. So after studying, he will go, but I will pick the scriptures and read, I discovered that most of them are used out of context or explained to mean something else from what the Bible actually intended. I started asking so many questions, one day, he got angry and left And never came back.
Again came a couple, husband and wife. What made those ones to leave was the issue of the Holy Spirit. They readily agreed that demons were personalities, but refused to say the Holy Spirit was a personality. He was just a force. And they kept referring to Him as it. While they referred to demons as 'him'.

Jesua use it to symbolize destruction .
