Mortiple: This is an exercise in futility as Cameroonians are going to deal with them ruthlessly! They alongside other Niger-Deltas had the opportunity to join force with Biafra but were deceived in supporting "one Nigeria" project. If they had allowed Biafra access to other countries through their waterways and border, it would have been a different story today. Since Bakassians are just waking up from slumber, I say: Good morning Bakassi! Good morning Niger-Delta!! Good Morning Nigeria!!!
if you don't know the genre of the issue, ask questions

proudlyafrican: They are free to proceed, when negotiation fails and no one gives the powers that be don`t give a damn the only option left is to take up arms to defend yourself and regain what rightfully belongs to you.I wish them the best.
what negotiations? why do people find it difficult to accept change? Cameroon did not say they don't want them to be Cameroonians, there was even when they released an ultimatum for them to nationalize on either side, so what is the big deal?

if you like your ancestral inheritance on the peninsula, you nationalize in Cameroon and vice versa. the bakassi people cannot claim to be abandoned by the Nigerian govt because Nigeria gave it up since the civil war.

roping it into cross river was a mistake the ICJ has corrected so why wont people react to change like humans?

honiye: This is so sad, is it a crime to be a christian? I actually cried this morning reading the story of the Deeper life church attack in okene. We now in live in a country where people are killed for serving God and believing in what they believe. This is sad and the so called CAN are not doing anything, they keep calling on the government that has failed to help them. I think at this point, they should go for plan B, the church should defend themselves, this govt has failed them, the church has the duty of protecting lives of worshippers. Christians should come together and defend themselves.
with what exactly?

Elueme: Anybody who thinks Asari is a noise maker is the biggest joker.. Some northern elites are clandestinely scheming to usurp power by all means but they have got a short memory I think... In the words of Hitlar I quote" Warsaw never saw war until war saw Warsaw and Warsaw was no more" .. The core north are basking in the euphoria of war a united Nigeria won via all the ethnic groups against biafrans and have assumed they can do an undo, you ll soon wake up to the dreams of your music but who ll save you this time ? If only you know how disdainful you have become, you won't be fooling yourselves... Niger deltans and every other tribes love a united Nigeria, why everybody has kept mute tothe scenario for long but it is becoming obvious that some persons are being put off by the arrogance of people you know you can wipe off in 48hrs without the intervention of fed might.. DON't THINK ASARI WAS RANTING, HE MEANT EVERY SINGLE WORD YESTERDAY AND HE SPOKE THE MINDS OF MANY NOT IJAWS ALONE.. He that has ears let him hear.

logica: OK, since YOU know all these why haven't you been able to stop Boko Haram? Or YOU are waiting for the Kraken aka Mustapha to be unleashed eh? FYI democracy doesn't work like a military totalitarian system where the likes of Abacha and Babangida held the powers of life and death. Mustapha has been found guilty in a competent court of law for a heinous crime. He cannot simply be allowed to walk away. I know it's a concept so difficult for you to grasp, but I just tried to explain anyway.

logica: Oh, so the reason Boko Haram hasn't come to the south is because the Northern oligarchy is behind it. No wonder the "Nigerian Army" is a mess with the kind of brain dead baboons that wear uniforms. So the same Northern oligarchy will want to destroy their land; and will engineer a group that has tried to eliminate several of them already? No wonder you guys couldn't handle the likes of Dokubo and the government had to beg the militants with "amnesty".

And to trump it, only the likes of your hero Mustapha has the magic-wand to wave for the trouble to go away.
if you believe the Nons@ns@ you wrote above, to what end is boko haram fighting? islamise Nigeria? lol

are you aware that they want joboy to resign? will boko haram spokes man take over? bother yourself with who profits from Joboy's resignation than boko haram itself.
boko is just a tool to a profitable means to some people.

About the Mustapha analogy, its a strategy that joboy (if he is competent) must consider in fighting boko haram.
can you phantom what a buhari Govt will do to IBB, OBJ and co? that is the strategy a smart joboy should be banking on, not bringing carrots like Asari to disturb the air waves.

like he even did anything tangible for his people who blindly follow him about (except for the militants though). i told a bayelsan last week that Jonathan could have been the best thing that has happened to ijaw land after oil if and only if he is who we think he is.

jonathan had the opportunity of designing a frame work for the progress of bayelsa state, then, installing his choice candidates like we saw in d!ckson, to carry on his framework to make bayelsa a better place rather he met a bare land looted and proceeded to the federal.
Maybe i need to break it down for those of you saying Asari Dokubo is talking too much or maybe not. MEND and Bokoharam War | Feasibility Analysis . MEND can be supported by the government alongside other security agencies to silence BH. BOKOHARAM can only rely on the partnership with al-Qaeda and if that happens, the U.S will swiftly root for MEND. MEND isn't a terrorist group and so they'll recieve the empathy of several African countries and majorly that of the AU. BOKOHARAM in regards has a limited support and that probably could come from Niger, Chad (they may turn against Nigeria) plus some other Islamist countries which in return will win the UN to the side of MEND. MEND cohesion is highly ruthless than the unchallenged bokoharam and it's obvious BH is a one-faced group. MEND can walk the streets freely thereby aiding their strategic plans, bokoharam will keep hiding. BOKOHARAM intention of Islamising Nigeria and executed act of bombing Mosques will force the true Muslims to point-out their hideout in the North or elsewhere and that means the true-Muslims will support MEND in the war
I can go on and on, the reason BH seem to be indomitable is because they haven't been challenged. MEND can be more dangerous if allowed. BH won't last if any war is prompted and just like Al-dine in Mali they will be moving from jungle to jungle within Africa. I don't pray for war but if that happens BH is going downnnnnn!!!!!!
Good thinking though but the red quote of yours lacks merit

Ishilove: Asari Dokubo is right. The north has refused paradigm shift in leadership equation of the country. Isa kaita and his cohorts bliv north shud perpetually be in power. Thats the grouse of Asari. SNC is now more imperative than ever b4. Jonathan shud d4 convene snc immediately. To jp phillips he is misguided by castigating asari.
Ask yourself this question; where does Asari's loyalty lie?

Asari's boys bombed Nigeria's infrastructures, maimed citizens before he was released by the Govt he has held to ransom, partly due to his nefarious activities.

Asari is right to claim he did not partake in the Amnesty programme because he was settled earlier before others a demand he made through NDPVF with a strong message of violence sent to the GOVT.
Asari should present his account statement before incarceration and after incarceration to tell us who made him big.

is it not the same Govt of yaradua/jonathan? his rubbing shoulders with ACN is just a camouflage, he is working for Jonathan big time.

the bottom line is this; ASARI IS NOT SPEAKING FOR HIMSELF BUT FOR JOBOY

instead of joboy using him to threaten boko haram, Joboy should be thinking of cold covert tactics to bring down the northern oligarch who believe Nigeria is their puss!e

continue whining, were you blind when you voted a nematode into power last year? how can incompetence come to your aid in situations like this?

the mis cue of this Govt within a year alone is enough for something bigger than boko haram to have emerged. has he sent his soldiers to Mali? do you know the poverty index of this country just within a year of this clueless administration? by now Jonathan should be acting smart not senile.

people like mustapha and other core enemies of the Northern oligarch (fugitives and political prisoners of the military era) needs to be awakened and empowered.
they are the ones that will bring down the Northern oligarch and Boko haram by proxy (America uses Al Qaeda when absolutely necessary).

Jonathan should have initiated a covert cold war other than sending toys like Asari to be making headlines in the media. its too cheap a propaganda from a so called "head of state"

Thanks to their Russian Allies, that have voted "CONTINUOUSLY with A NO" to Syrian sanctions. Let me ask you, all the diplomatic and military defection in the Assad regime, you think diplomats and generals just thought it was nice to defect? Come on man, live in reality. Assad was committing a Human Right violation but he did not pose any threat to other nations like having nuclear weapons like Iran does...

Asking the CIA and probably in the future sending military artillery down there with spiral the events of what's gonna happen. Ain't no telling just like Libya, Syria WILL NEVER remain the same. I love America, but I got to say the truth sometimes, American leaders are doing too much, in this case work with sanctions and diplomacy not arming rebels with sophisticated weapon that U.S. may never get back or even control.
exactly my thought, after arming the Libyan rebels, they come back to complain about arms in neighboring Mali, which calls for another intervention, lol, and the intervention continues. who benefits in the end?

Politics › Re: Pat Utomi: This Goat Is Smarter Than Most Nigerian Governors by jpphilips(m): 8:56am On Aug 03, 2012
Beaf: Very nice one from Pat Utomi.

I have always asked when Nigerians will learn to question their governors and LG bosses. Most people are happy, so long as awuf flows from Abuja, but no successful country is run that way. Instead, the Nigerian system of largesse from above and laziness from below is the road to ruin and perdition.

It is in the interest of every Nigerian, young and old, to know the duties and responsibilities of their LG and state govts. Your state is meant to provide the frameworks and enabling environment for local business and industry to flourish. It is your governors duty and surely not that of the FG to develop your state, provide health services, education, employment etc. These things are not for the FG to do; you cannot give a man a wife (Abuja monthly awuf) and be expected to do the deed in the darkness, because the man is inept about how babies are born.

Take a cue from the US and see how successful states have grabbed various nitches; Florida (tourism, industry, aerospace etc), Nevada (Las Vegas casino's etc), California (Hollywood, Silicon Valley - home of Microsoft, Yahoo, Google, Facebook etc... Nuff said). These states were built into the powerhouses that they are through the foresight of creative governors and county bosses who pulled the right plugs and pushed the right levers to enable their people, both financially, socially and intellectually.
...Here in Nigeria? Last I heard, our governors were engaged in a desperate search for how to get even more of the enslaving Abuja awuf per month. It is depressing. embarassed

As far as I know, these are the working governors in Nigeria:

1. Akpabio
2. Okorotcha
3. Chime
4. Amaechi
5. Sule Lamido
6. Fashola
7. Oshiomole

I think we might be adding Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa from the way things are going.
Amaechi first tenure not now
