The fact I'm in NL debating with you should have told you that. What I can tell you for free is that, for various reasons, the radio is number one where news is concerned.

What is Nairaland? I get my news from radio. If you want to do current affairs or deep analysis of world events, don't even try me. Those "abokis" are far more informed than an average southerner. The fact you fail to see how efficient (in terms of time and money) the use of a radio is doesn't mean it's not so.

The radio is not obsolete and never will be. The problem with Sani's gesture is that it amounts to tokenism. His job is to make good laws and ensure that the Senate doesn't loot Nigeria so there will be enough money for government to implement projects that will benefit the people. Collecting jumbo pay and giving some pittance to the poor belongs in the feudal era. Shame on Sani and others like him.
