Oga, winter is better oh.... at least that one, you can where appropriate clothing. But with this heat, even when naked, nothing for you. Now add mosquitoes to that mix and you know what I'm talking about.

I had to buy 2 standing fans and point them directly on me, and now run gen over night since PHCN will not cooperate.
Just get an 18" rechargeable fan. Works for me. There are some that use water and work kinda like AC. There are some that come with a solar panel.

This is good news for the indigenous manufacturers, its high time everyone think of what he can produce and create employment. Am already thinking in the direction of high quality shoe production. Who's going to be my business partners.
Not necessarily. Some manufacturers are folding up because they can't import raw materials. Then there's still the problem of access to credit. Of course the CBN can intervene directly on behalf of these manufacturers but will they?

I wish you well in your shoe biz though since you can source your materials locally.

Biko which ethnics are doing the rivalry here? The Fulani man from CBN vs who? Not sure if it's NL but you tribal warriors can't think properly anymore. There is clearly a misrendering or misquotation here - happens in Nigeria everyday. What passes for journalism in Nigeria is rubbish.

EFCC is actually puncturing its success chances at the courts with its penchant for media hullabaloo. There is inordinate media publicity around this anti-corruption movement. In addition, its evidence gathering mechanism is terribly flawed. Too many hints flooding the media space even before key individuals involved in such frauds are formally invited or arrested. It is a rash moribund approach that eventually would not recover one-tenth of stolen funds.
I agree. These leaks have to be fixed.

dearpreye:
A very insensitive, prodigal, insulting and shameful budget- the worst in recent years. It's even more depressing when it's tagged a budget of change.

I'm always angered as to why the poorest countries are usually the most wasteful of resources.

The budget was an opportunity for the APC and its Saint to convince Nigerians that we've departed from the budgetary philosophy of waste and extreme comfort for our public officials...alas...It's nothing but a deepening of the culture of waste and foolishness.

Nigerians are yet to have true and compassionate leaders who understand what leadership actually means.

Kudos to all those who called out the frauds embedded in the budget of change. Just lately the Minster of Health also denounced its senseless budgetary allocations. We are a confused nation.

Hustle your hustle. Face your career and business squarely. Those who are in bondage to waste and foolishness are incapable of providing any sort of meaningful government.

As far as I'm concerned, I'll wait for the 2017 budget;the 2016 budget is a fraud and huge disappointment.
I agree with everything you have written here.

The same Haplotype responsible for the protection of The Yoruba against the Lassa Fever Virus, were also found among the Esan and other Populations of Edo state, but at lower frequencies.
Then, why is the fever more common in parts of Esanland than most places in Nigeria?

Simply put that the specie of rat carrying the causative agent of lassa fever are rare in the southwest.

Zika virus was never present in the south American populace until Bill Gates decided to release his Zika infected GM Mosquitoes.

Refute that or gtfo
You couldn't answer any of my questions, right? What's your source that experimental sterilised mosquitoes were (1) zika-infested (2) responsible for this pandemic?

You're now left to your insults. It's what dumb people usually resort to when they can't argue points.

GworoChewinMaga:
Only West Africans are immune to the virus.

The Zika virus was never pandemic to south and central America.

This is why the Brazilians and almost all the south American population do not have immunity to it and why we are witnessing Zika infections in that part of the world.

Now have you bothered to ask why we are witnessing a pandemic after Bill Gates released Zika infected viruses in central and south America.

Assuming that correlation is not causation but you can't deny the coincidence.

BTW, I am OP.
You haven’t responded to the questions I asked. You have only asked questions widening the circles into marshland. Let me rephrase my question about the bubonic plague. There have been cycles of plagues since the beginning of human history, sometimes they even wipe out entire communities and half the population of cities. Were they all bioengineered? (Note that nowadays it’s due to advances in science and epidemiological studies that they don’t tend to get out of hand and kill too many.)

Now, to the bolded, why should I bother about something that probably didn't happen? Please start by providing facts to back up your assertion that Bill Gates released the Zika virus.

GworoChewinMaga:
Pls back your stance with counteracts
This -
About 10yrs later in 2015, the bio engineered Ebola virus was deployed to Liberia and Sierra-Leone.

They perfected the anti virus first before deploying it.

Guess who funded the entire project?

Bill Gates Foundation.

They lied to us that the epidemic in West Africa was due to migratory Bats from the Congo since Ebola is endemic and restricted to that region.

Now, why would bats migrate from one tropical rainforest to another?

Why did we not see outbreaks first along the migratory paths of the bats that they claimed?

How did the virus evade Cameroun, Nigeria and several other West African countries before hitting Liberia and Sierra Leone?

Or did the bats migrate via the atlantic?

This is where Nigeria's patient zero comes into play.

To understand what I am getting at you must first study Patrick Sawyer's itinery.

Patrick Sawyer was specifically infected to carry the virus to eastern Nigeria - Calabar.

This was meant to give the virus a natural propagating path from East to west that is if you consider the migratory bat theory from the Congo.

But given that Sawyer had to travel via Lagos and connect a local flight to Calabar and that he already began showing symptoms on arrival I Lagos which necessitated his hospitalisation in a hospital in Lagos, I bet you the news would have been totally different.

They underestimated our Medical and emergency response.

I can also bet that Lassa fever epidemic we are witnessing is also their handwork given the large area (17 states)!
- is utter nonsense.

When you say “they engineered ebola and deployed it . . .”, you’re like some Christian telling me Jesus is coming again soon. It’s not something you know, it’s something you heard or read and believed without asking questions or demanding any evidence whatsoever.
Nobody said the ebola that killed thousands in West Africa was caused by migrating bats. Show me where anyone in authority said that and at what forum. The outbreak didn’t even start in Sierra Leone or Liberia.

And your reason for believing that lassa is engineered? It’s spreading in a large area! He he he.

Anyway, let me add a caveat. Don’t get me wrong – I am neither accepting nor dismissing your conspiracy theories on the whole. I know conspiracies do exist in the world, albeit often not the way you people portray them here. I am just asking questions and pointing out glaring holes in your thesis.
Health › Re: Rockefeller Foundation Holds A 1947 Patent For Zika Virus by JuanDeDios: 7:15pm On Feb 04, 2016
base83:
In as much as i try never to follow or believe 'conspiracy theories' I am a strong believer that the recent Ebola outbreak was not 'ordinary'. from the small knowledge of microbiology I gathered, it is clear to see that the virulence of this recent strain is different from the Ebola virus that has been endemic in the Central African. Whether it was deliberately to either test drug/vaccines or to depopulate is another story, but it is clearly not ordinary.
WHY wasn't it ordinary? Mutation or the reality of different strains of a pathogen isn't ordinary? Was the bubonic plague ordinary or not?
