This midget has started again. I know EFCC will soon begin to probe Atiku for daring to eye Buhari's seat and OBJ will tell them how to nail him. Buhari is our president but come 2019, I think we need somebody else irrespective of party affiliation. His theories are not in tune with present day world. In other words, his fight against corruption is good but that appears to be all he can offer and I think we need more than that to move forward as a nation.

Detained former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, declined an offer to attend his father's burial contrary to rumours being cirtuclated in the social media, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reporting.

Rumours started circulating after the death of Dasuki's father, former Sultan Ibrahim Dasuki, that President Buhari was going to get even with Sambo Dasuki for his involvement in the post coup detention that stopped Buhari from attending the burial of his mother.

Retired Colonel Sambo Dasuki is being tried for alleged misappropriation of funds meant to buy arms to fight Boko Haram.

According to an SMS alert by the News Agency of Nigeria Interior minister, AbdulRahman Dambazau, said Dasuki declined offers to visit his late father in hospital and to be in Sokoto at the mourning period.

I just don't understand this government. The court has authorised the release of this man and the president who swore to abide by the constitution says he can't be released yet. The offence is a bailable offence and the court accordingly directed that he should be released on bail but they have refused to release the man. If the government refuses to obey court order, why should the rest of us do so? Are we in military rule or some banana republic? I don't see a Barrack Obama refusing to obey court order. Osinbajo, who is a professor of law can't even tell them they are doing the wrong thing. Professor Sagay will leave issues and be chasing shadows. May God give us leaders and not rulers o.

Former minister of Aviation, Olufemi Olu-Kayode who was arrested by EFCC operatives on October 21st on allegations of N26 million money laundering charges is finally out of prison after 24 days in detention and he's set to reunite with his family. He fulfiled his N50M bail application today.

He excitedly shared the news on Facebook where he wrote:

'Thanks be to God. After another 24 days in detention I am finally out. Thanks for all ur love, prayers and support. We shall prevail.'

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has denied being a corrupt person, a label that was created in the wake of a political tussle between him and former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Atiku made this known in an interview with some officials from the media team of the EFCC, published in the latest edition of the anti-graft agency’s Zero Tolerance Magazine.

Responding to a question on how allegations of corruption became his albatross in the race for the presidency in 2006, he said: “well if Atiku is corrupt, he would have been found guilty of corruption by all the panels and probes and cases brought before courts.”

He said: “I remember the only corruption indictment against me was a white paper which was cooked up by our own administration over night to including the very EFCC that I helped found and other cabinet ministers, which I challenged in court.”

He said: “the court rightly dismissed all those indictments as being mere political; and till today nobody has ever indicted me of corruption.”

Also responding to allegations of corruption leveled against him by the Governor of Kaduna State, el-Rufai’s in his book Accidental Public Servant, Atiku said el-Rufai did not give any evidence or prove where I was corrupt.

He added that: “this is the same el-Rufai and others who incorporated Transcorp during my time as Vice President and offered me shares and I declined.”

“I wrote to them officially to say it was unethical of me to have accepted those offers, so, where is the corruption toga coming from.” He said.

Asked to explain the bribe scandal of N50 million, involving Senator Ibrahim Mantu, Jonathan Zwingina and others during el-Rufai ministerial confirmation screening, Atiku said: “No, that is absolutely not true.”

Atiku noted that el-Rufai ran to him and complained that he was denied confirmation by the Senate, adding that he called Mantu and others and confronted them.

He said: “It is also on record, because I controlled campaign funds, every Senator benefited from those funds; and el-Rufai now went and said those campaign funds were meant to be bribe.”

He said: “of course my boss, the president, investigated the story and found out that indeed every Senator got contributions from the campaign fund which I was managing. So where is the corruption in that?”

This people can be funny. Atiku as a member of APC has been a saint in the eyes of EFCC. Last week the governor of Adamawa state said Atiku will likely contest the 2019 presidential elections & people are already becoming threatened and they have started playing the corruption card. God help us.

Resident woke up to see this man killed this morning. This happened at Sogbeb Filling station, Upper sokponba road, Benin city.! The body was evacuated at about 9:30 am by the police. Nobody knows why he's killed, but people were saying the man was cultist.

Frankly this is evil of the highest order. Nemesis will catch up sooner or later because when you kill by the sword, you must surely die by the sword.

There was an argument on a previous thread , where a nairalander included CGPA under his education am qualification. and I ask, on what grounds Will the inclusion of CGPA on ones CV be ragarded as a no no ?. I think it's a major selling point for a fresh graduate with little or no experience. what do one stand to lose for its inclusion. the only exception to this is when it's not a strong ( 2'1 or 2'2). can't you defend it? then why should one be afraid of it inclusion. you may leave out First class CGPA, the inclusion here is unnecessary. also. for vacancies where expererience and skill is required inclusion of CGPA is unnecessary. this is my .opinion.. what do you guys and ladies think?
