Chai i suffer no be small, the amount for that SMAC agar alone is 38k then cefexime which is a supplement is 58k and tellurite is jst 46k.......my guy i de go from 1 school to anoda until i find am oooo

1. 'Low carb and high fat diet is good for dog?' I believe you meant the reverse.

2. Breeders are not who you should be talking to about animal/dog nutrition...many of them don't even know the contents of dry dog food or can food.

3. 'Organs contain all the necessary vitamins'...In the right amounts? Surely even wild dogs do eat vegetables, grasses and fruits here and there to get more vitamins and minerals. They are not obligate carnivores you know...

4. The fact that raw bones are 'safer' doesn't make them completely safe. Just means raw is safer than cooked, but still has some potential risk.

5. How do you know meat that is disease free? It's not written on them now, is it? Even if you produce the meat yourself, it still does not guarantee 'disease free'...

6. The fact that you have not experienced any problem from feeding raw, does not make it safe. When we talk about risk, we are talking about chances or probability, not guarantees.

7. We often have this impression, albeit wrongly, that if only we can afford it, our dogs just need a 100% meat diet, served with water of course. That is so not true.

8. 'Chicken leg is good because it contains chrondroitin' ...question is are there no safer alternatives? Is chicken leg the only source of chondroitin in Nigeria?

9. 'Never give a bone to a healthy dog?' ...Now you just lost me with this one.

And I disagree that the 'only reason' is the disease...what about nutritional deficiencies. Just like humans, dogs also need a balanced diet...they have adapted their dietary requirements over thousands of years of living with humans. They need a diet containing carbohydrates, proteins, fats & oils, vitamins, minerals and of course water, all in the right proportion and quantity.

Honestly you tried, but at the end you tied the rope to your leg yourself.

"Breed standard is merely a set of guidelines, which can change overtime mind you, that a dog must meet for it to qualify for breeding purposes.".....your words. But looking at what you, said it shows you wrong. According to the FCI and the AKC, breed standard are not meant for the dog to qualify for breeding purposes alone, they are guide lines every so called breeder must work with to maintain that specific breed of dog you are into. If any fault comes up like you said, the pup is advised not to be bred with because it does not conform to the breed standard and as such is not pure. Breeding with it would only cause further damages. This is because breeding must continue to still have these specific breed so they won't go into extinction. So definitely to me you wrong with that statement. Take for example the GSD, that is my area and I'll explain to it to you. The German working lines are the perfect example of a GSD according to the breed standard Max Von Stephanitz the founder of the GSD laid down as at then and even conform to the present breed standard, no faults whatsoever, yet it is advised not to breed with them because they are working dogs. What would you say to that?
The breed standard changed overtime like you said and we have so many GSD out there now that are different from what he bred at his time. They are out there because they all conform to the new breed standard.
Conformation to the breed standard definitely shows purity because the breed standard is what defines if the dog is pure or not. If it's not that, then the old white GSD wouldn't have been blotted out. The old white GSD now called White Shepherds conformed to the breed standard of Max Von Stephanitz because he said the colour of a dog has nothing to do as long as it portrays the ability to work.
So if the pup in the same litter does not meet up with the breed standard, what do you call it?
Pure or impure?......fine it was bred purely but it came out impure. I've seen it happen too. But if it is pure, nothing would have stopped any breeder from breeding again with the said dog.

Purity is mainly determined by ancestry and genes, not necessarily morphological appearance.-your last line,
I'll bodly tell you a faulty recessive gene in the line of ancestry can definitely make a puppy not conform to the breed standard and that automatically has make that dog impure.

Lastly i guess you should check the parents of the said puppy yourself and make a judgement to it yourself. Check what they look like.

You know one thing I have discovered is that when two grow ups are having a disagreement over an issue, they usually are both right, juts that they may be limited in their degree of being right. They both will understand each other better is they both view each other from the same perspective.

wow, nice I feed.raw too, but I wait until they are 2-3months or I microwave the meat for 2 minutes if I must give the little puppies.
