2 seperate studies in America have concluded that women are unhappier than men. One of those studies was conducted by Betsey Stevenson and Justin Wolfers.

In Britain,research has established that women are ten times more likely to be severely depressed than they were 50 years ago - twice as likely as men.

Bel Mooney of the Mail said: "they've been bitten by the happiness virus - which guarantees a life of dissatisfaction"

Women need to be careful when chasing happiness as defined by the West. The studies state that women in the past had more happiness because they did not allow the bug of chasing unrealistic "happiness" to catch them.

Perhaps the search for the unrealistic happiness is what is making the divorce rate so high. Keep chasing what you read about and you may never find it, life becomes empty and depressing as a result. Better to be realistic and know what is achievable than chase what you read can be achieved. Many also want to live the lifestyle and the lives they see on movies. Almost every older person I have met has told me that morals have gone to the dogs in UK because children are now allowed to do what they like. They always say that they got spanked as kids and they turned out right but the ones who are now so ill-mannered are the ones that legislation forbids you to use your judgement in training and disciplining.

There is no staistic or evidence to support the notion that it is wrong to spank your child in love for correction. However, there is evidence that children who are now being raised without a fear of the rod are rotten and terribly violent.

NSPCC will tell you that you are teaching them violence but the ones who have not been spanked are the most violent ones. Those who were spanked in those days were never nearly as violent as the unruly and unfearful ones which parade every British city these days.

The archbishop of York, John Sentamu, is now supporting the McCanns because they visited his parish and had a discussion with him. Richard Branson is also raising money for their court case. The fact that they had an audience with Richard Branson and they decided that they would need lots of money for their defence in court suggests they know that there is strong evidence against them.

I beleive they are still innocent, until proven guilty but it smells badly.

The British media seems to be in a frenzy now because the super millionaire Richard Branson is now supporting the McCanns: such is the British media attitude that they will jump at anything supported by a known celebrity or public personality. I wont be suprised if more and more celebrities start jumping to the defence of the suspects.

To those who are trying to hound the Portuguese police, Portugal has it's own laws with regards to policing and they have not officially released any detail of their findings save to say that the McCanns are official suspects. Not every country has to handle things the same way the British handle their own and every country has a right to do things according to their own unique laws without being pressured by the British media into doing what is not right.

I have never been a fan of Big Brother and I will never be. I like the way Asians seem to present themselves in public than the way the so-called black people behave themselves shamelessly for publicity.

I believe Big Brother is an extremely unserious programme people by people who are being used to amuse equally low-minded people who find amusement is a bunch of mostly uneducated people intent on making wealth by any possible means.

Britain is fast degenrating to a society of morons as many people now believe in being rich rather then being intelligent. Intelligence is what built Britain to become a Great Nation, we are at risk of losing that greatness with this degeneration of our minds and mentalities. If we are stupid enough to celebrate morons like Jade Goodie, our future is in jeooardy.

That is why I empathise with people in the Middle East. It could happen to Africans as well if we were in the same situation. If it happens to us, the same way that Iraqi lives are meaningless to Americans is the way Nigerian lives will be meaningless to them. I cant help knowing that.

Although, I never liked the way the McCanns went about things from the start, I still have no strong opinion on this. The point is that nothing concrete has been made known officially. All we have are rumours of leaked information. We have to wait and see what evidence they Police actually have against them. It does smell very fishy and I was suprised that the man was acting more like a movie star while the search was on for the child. He actively sought media attention for everything and now he is saying that he does not want media intrusion.

Why the sudden U turn after being named as a suspect?

They also actually wanted to remain in Portugal and suddenly, they get named as suspects and they rush back home.

Thank God the forensics were done in Birmingham, otherwise the British media would have discredited it. The British always discredit anything that is not from them or from America.

They marry for flimsy reasons. They can marry a guy because of his dick size, they can marry a guy because he looks good, they can marry a babe because she is skinny. There are flimsy reasons for marriage which do not look at marriage in totality. Marriage is not just about the sexual or physical attractive because it is a proper relationship which requires real bonding of the parties and an ability to appreciate.

Some think they can change to what the man wants them to be but they cannot change because what they are will creep up later. If a woman is used to drinking, for instance, and she thinks she'll change when she's married, she's decieving herself. It's best to look well before marriage. Best to be sure that we can live with all the shortcomings of the other party.

I beg to disagree here with some people. I have many Nigerians here as Highly Skilled Migrants and they dont earn more than anyone in their categories. Please tell me where you see migrants who come from Nigeria to earn more than their British counterparts.

I worked for a multinational company a few years ago and there was a security man who worked there. He had worked as a manager in a construction company in Nigeria. He made a mistake when he left thinking he had made a huge killing with all his earnings in Nigeria and came back home. Needless to say, he ended up a security man: he has no real qualifications - however, he was manager over several well qualified and experienced Nigerians.

There is a second one I know who was a territorial manager for an oil servicing company(name withheld). He also made lots of money in Nigeria and resigned to travel the world. He has no qualifications to help him when he ran out of money and he is now a taxi driver. He said he was going to seek another employment in Nigeria.

It is nothing short of racism. Nigerians dont earn higher wages than white people when they go abroad to work as Highly skilled Migrants

Badamosi Babangida is the worst thing to have happened to Nigeria. He institutionalised the corrupt practices started during the Shagari era and Nigeria is the worst for it today. As a result of Badamosi's adventure into the Nigerian political scene, Nigeria has been dragged backwards by at least 70 years and I doubt if Nigeria will ever recover from it because almost ever generation is now infected with the corrupt and fraudulent virus spread by Badamosi.

I believe all offenders should recieve just punishment and it is understandable for people to feel aggrieved over selective punishment or selective justice. However, my grouse is with people welcoming a thief as if he is a messiah.

By all means, we should try and compel the government to fish out other offenders but we should not be celebrating any rogue on the strength of the fact that other rogues have not been dealt with accordingly.

I think we should stop compelling children to go to school until they are old enough to decide whether they want to go to school or not.
