Sometimes I no dey blame the girls for abroad for wey dey service guys. As dem don go abroad alone, dem must find man to warm dem up for winter. Me i no fit marry dem sha because many men don warm dem up tire |
my 13 year old daughter has decided she wants to be a professional prostitute. Should I force her not to become a prostitute? Many people here dont even know what it is to be a parent. There are some here who dont seem to deserve to have become parents. Which kind nonsense be that? which time me and my son/daughter wey be underage begin drag matter as to who dey wiser? God save us all |
Polygamy helps all those girls who have over-posed for the boys who should have married them. When they have over-posed, they suddenly realise that they are becoming older and their friends are all married so they jump up when a rich married man tells them to become 2nd or 3rd wife. Conclusion: Polygamy is advantageous to those girls who tend to over-pose in their youth. NB. STATISTICALLY, there are some girls here who will be in that position in future and they will benefit from polgamist men he he he |
What about names like Carpenter Gardener Sandwood And even those who name their children after cities and towns? are they not funny too? Brooklyn etc |
idupaul:please tell me you're joking about Musharaf |
George Igbo Irunmale is the biggest comedian of the political world. A gangster with too much power, running around the world killing people for his own benefits and using the vast amount of resources to justify his gangsterism. His gaffes are well known in comedy circles around the world |
E no go better for that man. Many his future generations never know peace as he has stolen peace and comfort from several millions of Nigerians |
Minute said i don't want people looking down on me so brushn up a little isnt too much- - - - when u are with your people ,speak whatever u want to and if u feel like forming - -your problem, not mine.Absolutely pathetic! Your worth is measured by how much you try not to be yourself. What you have just revealed is that you have very little worth in yourself and so you have a need to try and distance yourself from who you really are. Very sad indeed. It's strange that you were not brought up to have any pride in who you are and what you represent. |
Flowers ke? Get her an iroko tree instead. Wonders will never end. Wetin concern agbero with overload? Flower no be part of naija culture for romantism he he he |
too many stupid people leaving contact details. The poster is just publicising a forum FFS |
Free market. Marry men from other Nations |
toyinrayo:Living in the UK/US has a lot to do with it. How many women living in Nigeria have you heard complaining or saying that their men are lazy because they dont carry the grocery bag from shopping? |
I pray that when you get to the age of marriage, you are able to find a man willing to take rubbish from you and also that you have what it takes to stay in a marriage. When you get a man willing to take the crap and remain in marriage with you, come and talk. Pikin wey talk say when she grow up, she go cut tree wey him papa climjb as small boy, na the tree head no go allow that pikin grow up. |
I am happy that Glasgow won the bid. I'll be able to see many Nigerian athletes around me in 2014. I may even know a few of the coaches. Plus, it is bound to be good for the Glaswegian economy. However, Glasgow has many negatives as well. Glasgow is probably the drug capital of the western world. Glasgow's NEDS are a complete menace to society and to the world at large. There is abject poverty around Parkhead in the East end that will host the opening of the games. Glasgow is a very quietly racist place and you are likely to think that everyone that smiles at you and chats with you really likes you. THEY DONT! But, better Glasgow than Nigeria. Those politicians would only use the games as an escuse to corruptly enrich themselves and their friends and relatives. Hope to see some of you guys in Glasgow in 2014 ![]() |
Arrant stupidity - does the America/european try to adapt to the nigerian accent when they come to Nigeria? It is only a Nigerian person that travels abroad and her name Lola becomes Looler Ramoni becomes Raymond Oba becomes King Yetunde becomes Princess Bankole becomes Banky Segun becmoes Senguin Olajumoke becomes Jummy why? If it is hard for the white man to pronounce the name - must u try to adapt them to pronounce it - when has a white man changes his/her name from Fish to become Eja Stone to become Okuta Mr Black to become Mr dudu or Miss Wood to become Miss Igi? Hell no.
I cant stop laughing at this. It's mostly people who have low self esteem that will go abroad and try to be what they are not. Last time I was in America, I met a Nigerian that way and I couldn't stop talking about his stupidity as soon as he left us. My non Nigerian friend also had a few words to say. I've never tried to change my Nigerian accent. I actually try to make sure I dont lose it. |
When a Nigerian man decides that a woman is incompatible with him, he is intimidated. If it was a foreign man, would he also be considered as having been intimidated? Una too talk. When talk too much, na yeye go dey comot. Everyone knows what kind of man/woman he/she wants and decisions are made on that basis. Why should a man marry a woman he knows he cannot live successfully with? |
Looka here, what i posted has nothin' to do with me. Go back and read correctly but when d time comes for my marriage, u can bet it's goin' to be a naija dude.don't let that be your personal problem now. Besides, i never said they were disrespectful just not sensitive. c'mon. english is really not that difficult.Seeing that English is not that difficult, you could have written that in better grammar. Get away and find something else to do. Na by force to post something? The only thing idle hands like you want to do is to bash Naija. How many foreign men have you been with? shuo |
I did not read every line of your post but I fail to see the difference. Both parties are Black Americans because the Black American born in America to Nigerian parents will differ little from a Black American born of parents of any other nationalities. They are both bred in the same country and, supposedly, same culture. |
many people on this forum will fail badly if they were to be tested on intelligence levels. I do not see the original poster saying that she was hated for not being Nigerian enough. Will you say people hate you when they tell you you are not British? Why is it that every disagreement or non-compromise has to be equated to hatred? |
There is certainly a difference between a British-bred (not necessarily born abroad) person and a Nigerian-bred person. They have different thought processes and paterns as a result of their cultural environments. It does not make one either less of a human but it means that there are some/many values that they will differ on. Even when people have lived abroad for a long time, it changes some of their perpesctives to things. Some positive and some negative. |
If you don't like the man, leave him. Na by force? Why bashing Nigerian men everywhere? If you don't like the ways of Nigerian men, please go and find men from wherever you like and you can come back to tell us how much they respected you and your relationship. My point is, there are different personalities to people and no single person or group of people is 100% perfect. While you are seeking out the negatives in Naija men, start looking for the positives in other men. Please go and be with those others. |
It appears that many people live in the past with regards to Nigeria and they just want to believe what they want so they can say things about Nigeria/Nigerians. Infidelity does not necessarily equate polygamy. Infidelity is worldwide and not unique to Nigeria, neither is it unique to men. Somebody said Nigerian laws wont work in polygamy cases as if she has ever taken such a case to court. The silliness of just try to drag Nigeria down is fascinating |
Some people like to come here and denigrate everything Nigerian. Wherever did you hear that, if you are legally married in Nigeria, you can just decide to become a polygamist? Who informed you that the Nigerian legal system is not against polygamy? If you have spent all your life with undesirables, you should state it rather than come up with sorry tales about Nigeria, which in most cases are restricted to certain religions or those who never got officially married. abeg make we hear word |
Our foreign reserves help America to boost their economy. Nigerians (not just leaders) have a great propensity to be corrupt and fraudulent so, to entrust such funds into their hands would be daft. We should use about 50% of the reserves to build infrastructures which would benefit the economy. If the right infractrusture is in place, there is no doubt that Nigeria will develop very fast |
