A healthy lifestyle is reccomended but far from normal. Eating take out daily is very normal and a 6pound lunch in a resturant in central london is probably abnormal. I dont live in central london but that i know.

Lets even say you eat a 6pound lunch is that the only meal you will eat for the whole day? What of breakfast? Dinner? Lucozade? Red bull? Coffee from starbucks which is like 4 bloody quid! We're talking a very easy 20pounds a day, and most londoners are not prude with money so we can call this very normal.

I spend around 10-20 pounds everyday on food up to 6 times a week so i know how ver easy it is. Even in college with little money a student can still spend a good 10pounds on lunch alone.

Its not a ludicrous claim at all. And i can even say its very common. Thats not to even mention those that like to eat out in resturants where you are likely to spend no less than 15pounds. You do that 4 times a week thats 60 gone!

We are talking about foreign students here, not a full-time working individual, any reasonable foreign student who spends £100 a week on food and drink need to get help.

Is Starbucks the only coffee shop? Red bull in most shops are just £1, Lucozade is even cheaper, its ridiculous for a student to spend £100 a week just on food and drink, did you just discover food?

US benefits Nigeria more than China. Our balance of payments is better with US than China, ie Nigeria as a country sells more things to US than we sell China, we buy more things from China and they buy very little from us, whereas we buy less things from US but US buys more from Nigeria, so our balance of payments is better with US than China.

All our banking is reliant on US, even the things we buy from China all the financial structures to buy these cheap CD players is routed through the US.

We rely almost exclusively on the US for all things internet and software.

All the medicines we use are majority from the US (if the US and Europe did not invent the medicinal cures and outsource the patents to China and India you would never have the drugs in the first place) all original drugs, not the fake ones that kill pay a small percentage to the US companies behind them.

You say you don't know what US has done for Africa because the only things you can see China made electronics, and I bet you don't even use a chinko phone, you use phone made in China but by a foreign company. - I explained to you last time how much money from products made in China actually go back to parent the company, but you completely ignore that fact and say only China can save Africa.

How many people in Africa are employed by Chinese companies, yet am sure your family will do thanksgiving if you or your family member gets a job in Chevron, Halliburton, etc these are American companies that employ Nigerians on fat salaries (compared to the local salary).

Anyway I know I am talking to somebody who is not willing to look objectively at matters.

I guess the question i want to ask is. . .are you supposed to pay tax from your Forex earnings? The moment you declare that you are self employed the attention will be shifted to tax clearance and your source of incomes, if you met those requirements then your chances of getting a visa is higher

Yes Aba-made, just like in China, there are good quality Aba-made( Japan of Africa) but they can't be compared to the brand-names.

Those companies controls the quality, they made sure that its not of lower quality, they moved their factories to China because of cheap labour but that backfired when Chinese started producing inferior quality of things like Nike, Reeboke, Apple etc and selling them cheaper than the original.

Even with EU product standard you still see alot of Chinese inferior goods smuggled in by some dealers in some shops, mostly Asian shops.

China uses African as their dumping ground as the officials are ready to collect bribe and allow anything into the country.

You got every right to defend your cheap and cheerful goods.

I'm not ignorant, i have done my fair share of travelling, though not to China but i have been to that region, Chinese goods are generally of low quality, i don't need to apologies for saying that.

You are just about to be scammed, London Olympic committee is not sending you any IV, the invitation will only go out to Nigerian Olympic committee members who will be attending the Olympic and they are known already. The agent will only collect your money and you get nothing

My honest observation is that most of the "educated" Nigerians lack common sense and critical thinking abilities. Also there is relative security calm unlike what you have in the U.S to me i would pick canadian to U.S citizenship any day anytime because it has massive growth potential and enjoys far less racial slur when u compare the two.

I have to wait and see that happen before i believe it, else it could be just wishful thinking. The geographical advantage Canada enjoys has being there for years and yet it hasn't given that jump over US.

Underestimate American economical strength at your own peri, America still have a stronger back-bone to recover or sustain to large extent any economy down fall. As they are cutting down on silly wars more money will be invested into their economy and growth will pick up faster than its now.

Technological wise US is still far ahead of many countries, Canada will remain 'younger brother' to US for a very long time.

However, I went thru the ukba website and still can't see the possibility of him regularising my stay as a EEA/Swiss nationale family member since am way over 18yrs. I told him this and he said not to worry that an immigration lawyer assured him its possible. Now, my own is this; ofcourse I'd love to go but don't want to spend all that money to pay d fees only to return back home witot a promising job offer instead I'd rather he sent the money so I can start something tangible here unless am very sure my stay can be regularised with his present status as a permanent uk resident and eu citizen. kindly lemme no with facts if you agree with the immigration lawyer that regularising my stay as an EEA/Swiss nationale family member in d uk is possible. cynthykay: @justwise, I submitted my notification of result in diploma in psychology, ad my toefl result as stated in my cas ad a UBA statement of account showing DAT I hav 8000pounds in my Acc 4 28 days, my skul is queensbury college which is outside London so I believe DAT d money in my Acc will b ok 4 maintainance cos I paid my full skull fees, den I submitted on d 30th March 2012, so Wat do u Tink

What you submitted looks good, though the school is not ranked as 'Highly Trusted' by the UKBA, if you are given a visa you can change to a better ranked school after finishing the course you applied for with the current school.
