And the theif still has the nerve to admit it
Of course he is a shameless thief, i have gone through his past posts/threads its all full of fraud.
So you are loser and should get lost. All your posts are about sugar mummies and fraudulent property is Presidential Villa. What a waste of space are you.
Nothing is impossible for God, One thing I know for sure is Embassies dont know how much there is in an account. They only verify the account numbers and Names on it, Banks can not tell any body except the government how much you have in Your account.
Except the embassy has a shady way of finding out, I say this because everything is possible in Naija,
That said, I am still interested in the Guy who lost his Passport/Visa, Tell us how you solved your case
2good: @ Justwise, wasn't referring to you but t-med because some one studying at the University of Amsterdam already corroborated the opening posters concerns. All thesame I'm sorry if I sounded heady to anyone
No worries, i'm sure the op now have enough info to work with
2good: Why do you argue on things you're not sure of? I study at the Delft University of Technology, Netherlands and yes the school apply and get your visa approval from the Netherlands, if you meet the financial requirement which is either through your having being offered full scholarship like my own case or you have transferred the required fees to an account in the Netherlands. When your visa is approved in the Netherlands, the school tells you to go to your embassy to pick it up. Its that straight as they will only ask you what you want to do in the Netherlands and thats all. Your visa is normally 100% guaranteed except there are inconsistencies in your application Concerning admission, if you made a 2-2, forget about it and also I know people with GPA of 3.9 that couldn't get admission in my school and University of Twente. But if you have 3.8 GPA out of 5.00 and abve, you can apply for admission.
You would have said/ explained it without sounding big headed.
t-med has his own view and explained it without going on about unnecessary stuff.
"train a child in the way he/she should grow and she will not depart from it"
if she wants her child "never" to marry a Nigerian man due to their culture or ways in which they value a spouse ,then she should start to guide her early in the direction she thinks is right for her in selecting a the right spouse.
i rest my case. . .
but really marriage is not everything, dont do it because everyone else is . . for goodness sake,it shouldn't be torture.
'Pushy' and the over religious parents doesn't always bring up the best behaved children, if they do then pastor's children will have 'heaven' stamped on their foreheads.
I would love to marry somebody who is with me because we love each other and NOT because her parents 'recommended' me for her.
justwise is substantially right.the student does that in his or her own country; The skool will only send u a letter after d payment of your tuition fee.U have to take dis letter to their embassy in abuja.the embassy there4 has no choice dan to issue u the visa(MVV).on d otherhand,if their embassy is not in a certain country, the skool thus have d sole decision of getting u d visa from their country.Mind u,it's possible to waive d insurance and accomodation fee.All u have to do is make a petition that u will pay it when u get there.
Thanks for clearing that up.
when it comes to making marriage decisions. two things
1. Choice; Yes the parent (regardless of their educational back ground ) doesnt have the right to choose for the adult child who to marry
2. Decision you said it yourself, the child should be allowed to decide who to marry.
Now the role of the parent here,is to guide the adult right from his child hood in the right direction to make good choices in life that way they can make an "INFORMED" decision on what race, tribe, religion or who to marry.
i still maintain that this is not dictating.
My issue is with dasparrow who said this:
. . . If I ever have a daughter, she must never marry a naija man. That alone will give me high blood pressure because I will be so scared for her and her well being knowing how often women are treated like crap in Nigeria by the men, . . .
Using the terms: 'must' and 'never' to me is dictating, how would not marrying a Nigerian man equal to successful or happy marriage?
You never heard of what?
Never heard of any school applying for visa on behalf of prospective student.
megastu: I studied in Universiteit van Amsterdam, Netherlands. The School will apply for what we call MVV for you. This is time to talk about Occupying Nigeria, not schooling abroad, please.
what she said has nothing to do with being educated or not. some parents may have been through a lot of trauma either as a child growing up and watching one of the parent being battered/abused. or as a spouse going through the same torture in the hands of the other spouse and would go to any length to protect their children from going through the same mistakes or even worse ones.
i wouldn't call that dictating to your child.
It got alot to do with Education, it sound primitive to me for parents to dictate to their daughter who to marry, if your daughter is old enough to get married surely she is old enough to make that decision for herself, yes parents can advice, suggest, guild her through that decision period but the ultimate decision has to be hers and shouldn't be forced on her.
There is no perfect non-Nigerian man out there, going through torture in marriage is not an excuse to tell your daughter who to marry, all Nigerian men can't be that bad while Nigerian women are all angels.
Education is not just about paper qualification, its about allowing people to make their decisions and you respect that.
@ Justwise, the Schools said that they Apply for the Student Visa/Resident Permit for the Accepted Student.
Never heard of that before,

kennybuda: Well everybody should mind his or her buisness, i know some african dude selling their Bottom to oyibo men just to survive the mission, una don kill this name nigeria finish the whole world is reading this tread sha
Who forced those African men to sell their body for money? Its a choice they willingly made for their own selfish interest.
Nigerians killed the name Nigeria, we shouldn't blame anybody else apart from ourselves.
Lacrissa: There is this guy I met and told him about my distant relationship and all but he still agreed to date me that he really likes me and then asked me to be his girl. I felt it was too fast but agreed because he is really a good guy. On my bb display pic, I had put a picture of myself in a flowy dress above my knee and my legs were showing not all the way to the top, innocently and then he sent me a message that there are some pictures to be shown between lovers and the outside world. If I was really dating him and would someday be his wife, this is not the kind of pic to display that it would attract boys. He now said maybe we should just date since he feels he doesn't know me too well because of the picture.
I told my friends who said he was right and I should do all not to lose him so nairalanders, am i in the wrong here and what can I do. Thanks
Tell that control freak to move on fast to Deeper life church, as long as you did not make a private part a public one in ur dressing then u are ok. if he pushes you around at the early stage of the rela/ship what will happen when you get married?
dasparrow: +1. That pretty much sums it up. And yes, marraige is a big risk especially in Nigeria and if you're a lady. A man can throw you out, his family can throw you out, they can seize your kids and you have no legal law that will have your backing like say in advanced societies. If I ever have a daughter, she must never marry a naija man. That alone will give me high blood pressure because I will be so scared for her and her well being knowing how often women are treated like crap in Nigeria by the men.
This is the problem i have with some supposedly educated people, you don't have the right to detect to your daughter who to marry, you will end up pushing her into a wrong marriage.
No country has a perfect marriage history, its an individual thing and people should be allowed to choose who to marry without any unnecessary pressure from family and friends who claimed to know what is good for everybody.
igbo2011: Racism is very bad in America just because one man made it to be president doesn't mean racism is gone. Black men are still seen as thugs and cops still look at us. I have klived in America before and racism is everywhere. Go to an all black school then an all white schooland you will see the different. African Americans have no opportunities for college and other things. Watch this to see what I mean: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kpfMD9gWNf8
Also they don't teach about greeat African history, they want to keep African Americans down and tell them that Africans are backwards. That is why Africans are portrayed badly on TV in America. Alwways in mudhuts and what not.
American schools will teach American history and NOT African history, they are not under any obligation to teach African history, the more you keep blaming everybody else apart from our thieving politicians for all the problems in Africa the more ridiculous you sound.

wisepluto: The present dispute has gone beyond the ambits of all organised labour bodies.Nigerians themselves are not blind to see how our public funds have been poorly utilised by this government and all previous. If GEJ presses the masses further till thursday, Nigerians from all parts of the federation are bracing up for a mass demolition and uproar in the federal capital territory. Its in the best interest for him and his cohorts to reconsider his devilish actions, Peace!
When are we going to do the same about Boko Haram?
