My girlfriend's visa for three months expired on the 7th (sat). She was unable to get a flight out on Friday because there were no seats.

Now she is deathly afraid to go to the airport and try and fly out. I've suggested contacting the Canadian Consulate to see if they can help.

She also is just afraid of leaving the hotel at this moment due to the protests tomorrow. Will banks and the airport be open again on Tuesday or Wed? I'm hoping she can get out as soon as tomorrow night if the visa issue can be resolved. I'm sure it happens all the time that a day or two issue comes up due to the limited flights out to the states.

Can anyone provide any information that might be helpful? She's so scared and I regret not having gone with her months ago.

If your girlfriend is a Canadian then let her contact the Canadian embassy for help.

Pay the deposit, get the CAS so that if the fees goes up in a few months time it will not affect you.

Make sure the school is genuine before paying your fees.

Pay the deposit and get your CAS fees in the UK goes up every year that is for sure.

I must compliment yall have been doing an amazing Job, coming here and sparing your time just to assist others is something that only GOD can pay you back for. With all that been said, I applied to University of Huddersfield. I have my CAS and all. Paid Full Time School fees for year, I am 21.
I also had 2-3 Million in my account i had for 28days of course, which i submitted along side my application for Uk Visa Tier For.
I did waec in 2009 but i dont have The original copy of my waec certificate yet from my school
I did Toefl Oct. and still havent received the original copy of my result.
So When i was application for the visa, i submitted The print out of my waec result with scratch card and Also print out of my Toefl Result.
So I am worried me not been able to come up with the original copy of results does this pose as a threat of me been denied a visa ?
Please i would really appreciate any sort of Ideas yall can give me and i thank Yall.
Does anyone know the standard of University of Huddersfield ?I mean what does it rate ?

TOEFI print out is ok but i'm not sure about WAEC print out, i think last year somebody here used that with the scratch card and was given a visa. I'm really not sure about that until somebody confirm it from personal experience

I see you were refused not because you overstayed but because you honesty omitted vital information on your application. If what you're saying is recent, you can appeal this decision and win.

Before you say "how", there's a precedent regarding this case. Same thing happened to a guy in a case called O.O v Secretary of state for the home department. Full citation of the case would help you to win the case.

I wanted my wife to come briefly before she resumes work, but dont want to put her through the whole process of visa application if she would be denied b/c shes pregnant. Is this true?

The airline will not allow your wife to board if her pregnancy is visible, if she managed to board she will have problems with immigration at the POE.

Hi, Please can someone help me with mu query?

I want to apply for a general visitors visa with my son. I have my sister and my brother living in Uk and they have sent me invitation letters. Don't know if i should apply for tourist visa or family vist visa. Would actually prefer to apply for tousrist visa as i do not want to go through the pains of proving that we are related. Will it disqualify me from the tourist category?

Applying for family visit visa would have been ok but since you don't want to get into the trouble of proving the rela/ship then go for tourist visa without their invitation letter.
