You really have money to waste. If u do go ahead with the appeal, it will take u nothing less than 4months to know the outcome. Were you given the right to appeal?

Post it here, any school can deal with spam emails, sending pple the name and other details wouldn't stop spam emails.

All applications i have ever made to any embassy i sponsor maself it was a regular visiting visa i was going to visit ma cousine , then i worked with a telecom company who payed less than 80k but it was an international company anyways, south africa i sponsored ma self Germany i sponsored maself america same canada same rep of ireland same just to mention a few soo trust me i know what am talking about,

Ur cousine did not send u any document to support ur application? When it comes to visa issue, what worked for u may not work for somebody else, a student or a business man/woman 'may' not be given a visa with the same amount of money and documents u presented. For the fact that u were given a visa with 80K pounds in ur account does not mean other will be given as well.

I posted a thread about the lastest plans yesterday.What may be wrong in all of this is the fact that it may even affect people who are currently in masters programs.

Pple who are here now doing Msc will not be affected, they can still apply when they graduate this Sept, it will only affect pple starting Msc this Sept.

So you are saying he can make a note stating that he is going to the UK as part of his holiday while u are going to study and not that he's escorting me?

Showing more than £1000 doesn't mean that he is going to spend all in the UK, it will show that he has more than enough to travel to the UK and has something to fall back on when he comes back.
One room accommodation in the UK could mean anything, it could be one room in a shared flat of students where u have to share facilities with other students and ur hubby can't share that with u for more than few days, it could also mean a studio accommodation but u will have ur own kitchen,shower/toilet.So b4 u pay for the accommodation, try and find out what type its. Yes he should state that he is going to the UK with u but he is using it as part of his holiday while u are going for study.

@Justwise,I plan to get accommodation before my travel date,also he might not really have anywhere to visit because the only reason for his travel is to help me make arrangements/adjust to my new environment.Also, he has just 1000pounds to spend on the trip,minus accommodation and tickets,do you think this might pose a problem because he doesnt have up to 5000pounds.when they ask for his reason for travel on the form,is accompanying a spouse good reason.he has everyother documents i.e leave letter,letter of appointment,marriage certificate/pictures.what should he state has the purpose of his visit and what evidence of money does he have to show/for how long.

Ok, what sort of accommodation are u going to get? Studio flat? student shared accommodation? The reason for traveling have to be stronger than helping u to adjust/settle down, as a matured student u can look after urself pretty well.
£1000 will be ok IF you have ur[b] (£5400 or 7200)[/b] maintenance and school fees, the proof of accommodation and return ticket. His bank statement where his salary goes in should be good enough for proof of income.

Now if u have all the requirements, e.g. ur school fees, maintenace fees, accommodation, his bank statement, letter from his company etc, then he can make a note stating that he is going to the UK as part of his holiday while u are going to study,however, if £1000 is all he has in his account and he wants to stay a month then one will wonder how he will survive after visiting the UK.

He may have to go with visit visa, do you have accommodation already in the UK? If not then he can make hotel reservation. He needs letter from his company, ur family pictures, enough money to last for his duration of stay(that could be anything from £5,000 up). He need to make list of places he want to visit while in the UK.

However, you have given no indication as to how you intend to spend your time,where you intend to travel, what site of interest you intend to visit and why in particular you have chosen the UK for your holiday. While it is not a prerequisite I consider it reasonable to expect you to be able to demonstrated you have some knowledge of your chosen destination and plans. I note you have not traveled to the UK previously and you state you do not know anyone there. In the absence of such information it is difficult for me to make any considered judgment as to your true intentions.

You were refused simply cos u did not detail ur holiday plan. You should have explain in ur application form or separate form places u want to visit in the UK, city u want to say. etc
