like application has been submitted already just wanna be sure if the absence of dna test won't be a problem
infact it's 73days already out of the 90 days stipulated for settlement visa
YES and NO, submitting the DNA would have erase any paternity doubt but as its you just have to wait for the outcome of the application.

please everyone am really sorry to derail this topic and please am gon modify once I get a response

this is about a baby sis visa application
she actually applied for settlement visa and
her dad is British and when he's applying for
his citizenship by naturalisation he included
the girls name and the girl is even his next of
kin and the girl did IELTS Test and even
submitted her tuberculossis test result and
her dad submitted loads of docs too
But the point now is she never submitted DNA
test result tho everyone believed that a
paternity test gotten from an unrecognised
hospital will be seen as void and we couldn't
get any hospital recognised by the home
office
and loads of mail was sent to the
British embassy just to be sure of the
hospital to visit but they never replied to and
in the course of applying all the mails they
never responded to was printed and
submitted with the application But a birth
certificate gotten 5 years back From NPC and
her dad's name was included in the certificate
and some pictures snapped years back was
also included
Does she stand a chance
She will be getting a response in few weeks
time but everyone is just anxious
And she's not yet 18 but close to 18

Thanks for your response. My fiance have stayed in uk for five years and he has applied for his permanent resident, which we hope to be successful. The lawyer said as he gets it, he will apply for citizen for the kids. I will be so happy if he gets it and my kids becomes citizen immediately than waiting for this 7years. I am believing God that I will get my stay through my kids. I will stay because of this luvly kids that God has given me.
I can only wish you and those kids all the best, no point digging more into this.

Thanks for your response. Ps I am not Monchat. For the NHS we are paying it gradually by His grace.

I guess your bf is holding business visa and not work visa else you will not be paying for the NHS cost.

Paying back the cost of baby birth will work on your favour at the long run and for the fact that you had a triplet is an added advantage because UKBA may show some sort of compassion because of those kids.

Your kids can apply for a stay after 7yrs if the route you are planning to take now fails because i don't know how long your bf has lived in the UK to qualify for a stay.

Goodmoring house. Good to join this wonderful forum. I like every thing about this forum. God bless this forum. Keep it up guys. I am new here. I just join this beautiful forum. I need y advice ps.
I came to the UK last year june with a visiting visa of six months ( My 1st time of visiting UK) to visit my fiance and I decided to stay bk because I got pregnant, this year I gave birth to beautiful set of triplets, two girls and one boy. Now my 6 months visa expired last year. My fiance family in the UK adviced me not to go bk to Nigeria, that with my kids I will be able to get my papers in the UK since my fiance will be getting his permanent resident next month, I was advised that, he will fill for our kids to become British citizen and with the help of his lawyer, he will then fill my own and I will be given two and the half years. I was also told that UK is a country that loves children and it will be hard for them to separate mummy and child in the UK once the child becomes a citizen. I was a bit scared, how true is this? but my fiance told me not to be worried, that his lawyer av handled this kind of case with his wife's friend and today, the woman av gotten her permanent stay and the kids all citizens. Ps great house what do u suggest I do, should I take my kids and return bk to Nigeria or should I stay here since my fiance will get his permanent resident by next month? I am confused. I know taking them bk to Nigeria will not be easy for me to take care of them alone without their dad. On the other hand what if I decide to keep staying, will I be able to get my stay. Ps I need all of y advice to know what I can do bc, I am confused and afriad of immigration law here.
What type of visa is your boyfriend currently holding?

Hello Guys,

My sis who got married to an Ex-British Army(A Nigerian, with a British passport) has got permit to remain after 4years of her stay in the U.K.

She got a multiply entry visa before she traveled 4years ago, now she wants to visit Nigeria for the first time in 4years with her residence permit to remain. Her Ecowas passport will expire in August 2018.

My question: Must her Ecowas passport has 6months validity before she can visit Nigeria?

No, she can use it even with one week validity left on it.

Hello guys...after reading people's posts here, i think i have made a big mistake while filling my application online...I didnt indicate i was refused a USA visa, do you think i should withdraw the application or they cant verify this...please i need an urgent response on this...please help
They can verify anything if they want to, avoid lying in your application not even when they have your biometric details. They don't need to see the refusal stamp on your passport to know that you been refused before

Many thanks to everybody that's contributed to this thread one way or the other.
I've been a silent observer but I must confess, its been a tough journey but in the end, God is good.
I applied for my spouse visa (standard) Feb, 22 2017. Got refused October 26, 2017 with a right to appeal. I appealed November 2017 and finally got the mail to resubmit my passport May 24 2018 after winning the appeal without going to the tribunal.
I have since submitted my passport last Thursday and here I am waiting again... Dunno how long I'd have to wait again but I'm in good spirit.

Hopefully your case will be a different one but this people can hold your passport for weeks! There is no time line for this.

Like i said hopefully your case will be a special one.

Hey guys!!! I’m new here..and I’ll appreciate your help and advice !
I applied for Uk visa some years back .. and was denied due to insufficient evidence ... I’m trying to apply again for my cousin’s graduation ceremony .. please what are the documents I need to present? I’m trying to apply alongside my cousin’s family ... and her dad is sponsoring the trip.. so do I need to present my own bank statement also .. cuz I earn 50k monthly salary and I have worked for 8months.since my uncle is sponsoring do I need my own bank statement ? also while filling the online application, the “are you travelling with anyone part”. Should I put their names and should they put my name in theirs considering they’re also applying for the visa with me as we are applying as a family. P.s we are applying as a family.
As a working adult sponsorship for visiting visa is out of this, you have to meet the visa requirement as an individual even as you are traveling with family members.

Yes you need to add your bank statement and yes again you need to put their names and they also have to put your name in their own application form

Dear bosses and gurus on this thread, good evening to you. Please, a little issue on ground and I really don't know what to advise, but we will read and follow your sound take. In the days of backdating exit dates, someone did too and she did successfully renew her visa without hassles despite quoting and using the backdated date for her visa renewal application, but the five years visa given her on that renewal in 2011 however has expired now (no backdating was done on this visa's usage). She wants to renew now and she's confused as to whether to stick to the backdated date as used in obtaining her last visa back then or to just write out the correct exit date this time around. What do I advise? Isn't this trouble? Should sleeping dog just be allowed to lay there or will it open a can of warm would get opened?

Super guides @Justwise and Ekpotek; and other gurus; how will this pan out? Thanks
Obviously if she stated a date different from what they have in the system on her profile..the outcome will not be positive.

She has to pray long and hard that the backdating issue is not found out

Hello.

I would appriecte some advice. So I have a boyfriend in Nigeria (I am a British citizen). I would like to sponsor his visit to the UK for approx 2 weeks.
With honesty can you please tell me the likelihood of being accepted for a visitor visa. And how much would he have to have in his bank account if I am sponsoring his visit? With me sponsoring do they still look at his situation?

Thanks.
Does he work in Nigeria? If yes how much does he earn in a month?

I honestly don't think the embassy would ask your bank for your your closing balance and even your bank can't release such information. It is believed that with their stamp and signature, you have provided a genuine statement of account. If they doubt the authenticity of the statement, they can ask that you send another one after some time to check if there would be discrepancies. This happened to my friend that applied for PR, because the requirement was a minimum account balance of 12,000dollars.

Plus ya'all need to know that 4months statement basically means they will see all your transactions in the last 4months, that's enough for them to prove if you can afford it even if you choose to withdraw the money after you present the account statment.

There are no hard rules to this, stop thinking like you are the canadian embassy or VO.
What happens if that stamp and signature is on a forged bank statement within the bank?

@justwise while I agree with you that some people can easily get money just to show for visa sake and then remove after applying just to deceive the embassy, you have to agree that deceit or fraud is not always the point.

You agree with me that asides having the right amount in your account balance, the embassy all checks cash inflow, cash out flow, employment letters. All these are to prove that there's a constant source of income and the applicant has the ability to generate funds when required.

That being the case, it's clear that account balance isn't the only thing and that account balance may change so far the applicant to generate the funds when required.

Also come to think of it. if the embassy really wants to ensure you have the money at the point of issuing visa, then they wouldn't even request that account statements be at least one month old. we all know a lot can happen in a month. Also if they wanted to be sure you an applicant has the money at the exact required time, then they'll probably ask for account statement last like they do for medical call.

I'm in no way supporting fraud but not everyone in this scenario should be considered fraudulent.
I read that line from a lot of people here, inflow and outflow means absolutely nothing, your ability to meet the financial requirement and convince the embassy that the money will be available to you in Canada is the key here, it could be savings account without much activities on it but just the required amount to meet the cost of your education.

Yes the embassy expect you to have that money not only until your visa is out but in Canada as well.

If you don't have enough money to carry on your day to day activities without withdrawing from the account submitted to the embassy then forget about foreign education and do something else with your money.

If you withdraw the money while your application is still under consideration then its fraud/misrepresentation simple

Sounds like what you have a great deal of idea on. People like you accuse others of what they do from time to time. VOs aren't dumb, they know that even if you leave the money in your account for aeons, a dubious person will still divert the money. They are particular about proving means of livelihood of you or your sponsor to know that you can meet your financial obligations. Few people I know have scaled through with less than 1k dollars in their sponsor's accounts but the sponsors were able to demonstrate huge monthly income.
Have a nice day
Obviously that is nothing more than a lie.

. I don’t intend to drag this issue , I will just make this point and move on, I have worked several years in a bank before like I said , it’s still a breach of privacy, the business is between me and my bank and me and embassy not embassy and my bank. I printed the statement signed and authorized by my bank, they can only ask my bank if the they actually authorized that statement of account or not. If the bank says yes they did they should be able to trust what they see there.

So why is it a breach of privacy if I give my statement of account to a client to bid for a contract and he goes to the bank to ask about specific transactions or details and the bank obliges ? ?

This is a flawed argument because the embassy is not your client. What you are committing is fraud and the bank has the right to protect their brand.

Lol this is funny though, I withdrew the money doesn’t mean I don’t have it, or I spent it, what if I like to keep my money in cash or I bought treasury bills or bitcoins or something else. Well , you have the powers so we play by your rules
That doesn't make sense, is either you have the money in your bank account supposedly for visa application or you don't, whether you want to have your money in cash or invest in any business got nothing to do with your visa application.

Its not my rule, its just the issue of common human decency, trust and honesty.

We Nigerians are our own worst enemy.

I think we need to know this, so we can start to sue our banks for breach of privacy. Why would a bank disclose my balance to any organization, except law enforcement agencies?
It's not always fraud. What is wrong in deciding to transact business with my money that will still be available to me whenever I need it? Must one tie down his money because of application for visa? I haven't come across anywhere in CIC rules that your money can't be used for other purposes pending when there's need for it. I think that's why some people are asked to either show evidence of payment or money in a Canadian bank account before a final decision can be made.
These are my opinions though
What privacy? Are you kidding me? You submitted every single info about you to the embassy AND signed a disclaimer that the info you submitted is genuine and true then the embassy called the bank to verify the same info you have given them and you called that breach of privacy?

What planet are you from?

but what is wrong with people knowing if they can withdraw their money after submission of application or not? What’s fraud about that?
It's fraud because you deliberately lied to the embassy that you have money for the student visa to be used in Canada while in reality you have withdrawn the money. It's called misrepresentation and it carries 5yrs ban.

The only reason why people want to know if embassies verify bank account is because they want to commit fraud.

This thread will not be used to share such information, if you submitted genuine bank statement and not planning to withdraw the money after submitting your application then you have no need to come here to ask such question.

So what do you suggest I do?

You guys are asking me to go down the spouse route we all know what that too entails and how long it takes. Earning £22,000 and £18,600 is almost the same thing and its not easy to get that and even if.... it will take time to gather payslips and all that.... My hubby and I has also tout about that that's why we tout of giving the visitor visa a short....

I have never overstayed ever since I have been going to the UK I also put to bed I still came back to 9ja and also paid the NHS bills and I waited about 3yrs before trying to apply again because I want my child to go and visit my uncle and his family and also to let my child see where she was born and other beautiful places alongside visit her father ......

At least they should consider all this and see a reason why they should give me the visa now.....

I am just so disturbed because I don't want to be refused.... Please what do u suggest I can add to back up my application i m a student doing masters..... Is that enough.....

Please guyz help me out..... That's why I ve come here
I suggest that you tell the truth bluntly whether for visiting visa or spouse visa.

It doesn't take time to gather payslip if your hubby has being working for at least 6months with the same company because employers send payslips to employees weekly or monthly.

He doesn't need to have £18,600 in his account he only need to prove that he earns that amount yearly and a letter from his company, his payslips or his P60 from tax office which he should have since April 5 can be used as an evidence of that.

If you want to apply for visiting visa then go ahead and be honest while on it, you are taking your kid to see the daddy, get a letter from him, 6months bank statement, 6months payslips, evidence of accommodation(Tenancy agreement or mortgage paper) and data page of his passport.

If he is holding ILR then a photocopy of his ILR card.

Submit your marriage certificate, receipt of NHS bill, your kid birth certificate, your admission letter, your last result report, school ID and a letter from your school.

Since you are student obviously your hubby support financially, you need to include evidence to money or gift sent to you from him

Evidence of communication..whatsapp chats, phone call log, emails, facebook etc..whichever way both of your keep in touch include evidence of that.

And lastly pictures of both of you together during your visits

Well.... In my opinion .... it depend on how your hubby obtain his stay in the UK... you need to think ... before you start saying I wish havent...
1st.
You can apply and be silent abt your hubby if you did not mention abt him in your 1st visa apply application... (with that u have not lie or you might be having issues with him at the time of this application which you can easily explain in future if you want to apply for spouse visa)
Go by you want to visit ur uncle and have holiday with your child in a country where the child was born... provide all necessary docs including ur skl docs, child birth certificate the NHS payment receipts and hope for the best....
pls if ur hubby ILR is not obtained in a straight forward way (hope you unstd wat I mean) pls dont include the man ooo...
My own experience... not visa related becos I am british but... this people can digg things oooo beyond ur imagination... and can link up things ooooo.
It doesn't matter how her hubby got his stay she no option than to state things as factual as its. misrepresentation is a serious issue
